nÃo hà / O presente estudo promove uma anÃlise da relaÃÃo entre determinantes municipais e sua relaÃÃo direta com o grau de desenvolvimento da alfabetizaÃÃo infantil de acordo com o Programa de AlfabetizaÃÃo na Idade Certa (PAIC), que tem como metas a alfabetizaÃÃo de todas as crianÃas atà o final do 2 ano do ensino fundamental. Os dados utilizados foram retirados do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e EstatÃstica (IBGE), da Secretaria da EducaÃÃo do Estado do Cearà (SEDUC-CE), do Instituto de Pesquisa e EstratÃgia EconÃmica do Cearà (IPECE), do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais AnÃsio Teixeira (INEP), e outras, para os 184 municÃpios cearenses no perÃodo de 2007 e 2011. SÃo escassos os estudos econÃmicos sobre a alfabetizaÃÃo levando em conta o programa PAIC e a prova SPAECE-Alfa. / The present study promotes an analysis of the relationship between municipal determinants and its direct relation to the degree of development of children's literacy according to the Literacy Program at the Right Age (PAIC), that has as goals, the literacy of all children by the end of 2nd year of elementary school. The data used were taken from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the Secretary of Education of the State of Cearà (SEDUCCE), Institute of Economic Research and Strategy of Cearà (IPECE), the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research AnÃsio Teixeira (INEP), and others, to the 184 CearÃÂs municipalities, between the years of 2007-2011. There are few economic studies about literacy considering the PAIC program and the SPAECE-Alpha test.
