The main objective was to present and analyze the implementation of the First School Group and which (which) was (were) a (as) contribution (contributions) for construction of teachers' schooling and the building of primary school graduate in Presidente Prudente. To achieve this goal, we collected data in literature sources (books, theses, dissertations) and documentary sources (Reports, Books of Exams, journalistic material, etc.), plus the use of semi-structured interviews with eight individuals, using as support the theory of Oral History, with Paul Thompson as references. As a result more evident from the survey, we saw that the struggle of primary teachers has contributed to building the first primary school in the city, and we concluded that the strategy was unsuccessful struggle of the teachers of Presidente Prudente (tuned with the larger movement of feminization of teaching ), since the execution of his work was done in an exemplary manner, as indicated in the records of / from ex-students, and their performance outside the school walls, even if not brought to the attention of children, was added to all the practices that enabled these students to the same opportunity to chart a future different from that of their mothers and grandmothers had. / Este estudo buscou mostrar qual foi a participação das professoras primárias de Presidente Prudente para a implantação do Primeiro Grupo Escolar da cidade, entre 1925 e 1938, dentro do contexto da história de Presidente Prudente e da feminização do magistério. O principal objetivo foi apresentar e analisar a implantação do Primeiro Grupo Escolar e qual (quais) foi (foram) a (as) contribuição (contribuições) das professoras para construção da educação escolarizada e da edificação da escola primária graduada em Presidente Prudente. Para alcançar este objetivo, foram coletados dados em fontes bibliográficas (livros, teses, dissertações) e fontes documentais (Relatórios, Livros de Exames, material jornalístico etc), além do uso de entrevistas semi-estruturadas com 8 indivíduos, utilizando-se, como apoio, a teoria da História Oral, tendo Paul Thompson como referência. Como resultado mais evidente da pesquisa, vimos que a luta das professoras primárias contribuiu para a edificação do Primeiro Grupo Escolar da cidade, e pudemos concluir que logrou êxito a estratégia de luta das professoras de Presidente Prudente (afinadas com movimento mais amplo de feminização do magistério), pois a execução de seu trabalho foi feita de forma exemplar, como nos indicou os relatos dos/das ex-educandas; e a sua atuação fora dos muros escolares, mesmo não tendo sido levada ao conhecimento das crianças, se somou ao conjunto de práticas que possibilitaram à essas mesmas educandas a oportunidade de traçar um futuro diferente daquele que as suas mães e avós tiveram.
