Title: The impact of 3month exercise program of remedial physical education on selected parameters of the Senior Fitness Test. Objectives: The main task of the thesis was to find out whether physical fitness of seniors, after the 3month exercise can be improved program of remedial physical education. Methods: 16 women in the age of 60-82 years participated in the study. At the beginning and end of the program, they have been tested by following exercises of the Senior Fitness Test : 30- chair stand, Chair- sit- and reach, Back scratch, Foot and up go. Also, the test included standing on one leg. The exercise lessons were scheduled 1x for 12 weeks with the frequency once a week and contained elements of stretching, strengthening, coordinating exercise and relaxation. Results: The result showed that the majority (75%) of the tested woman improved strength of lower extremities evaluated by 30 chair stand. For tests on flexibility, results were unequivocal. More than 80 % of women has improved considerably in the combined test Foot up and go. In the assessment of the balance improvement was seen in 56 % of women. Introduction: Thanks to modern medicine people with chronic forms of the diseases can live longer than before. In this work we concerned with last stage of chronical kidney dinase, which is treated by dialysis or transplantation. Succesful renal transplantation leads to significant improvement in quality of life of patients, but after transplantation there are still some risk factors, which may influence health and physical condition of men. We can eliminace these risk factors with some non-pharmacological ways, for example with intervention program of regular physical activity and special nutrition, which can help to gain and increase patient`s physical condition. The main focus of research of this thesis was to evaluate physical condition and amount of physical aktivity of 4 groups of patients, each with another intervention, after renal transplant. We used the battery of motor tests "Senior Fitness Test Manual". Aim: Analyze, how regular physical activity, special nutrition and combination of both influence physical condition of patients after renal transplant. Methods: This research work is a part of the grant project IGA MZ CR 173 (NS-10518- 3/2009). We used 21 participants selected from patients of Nephrology Clinic TC IKEM in Prague for our solution. The possibilities of increasing physical activity among seniors ? clients Hospitals Volyně is a name of the master thesis, which is in theoretical part focused on the issue of aging. Furthermore, it is focused on physical activities of elderly people and further describes recommendations of physical activities specified for this age group. Part of the theoretical segment is also description of the medical institution Hospital Volyně. In practical part hypothesis and aims of the thesis are stated. Part of the research is interventional physical program, which connects elements of Pilates and exercises by Niši. System of those exercises is applied on a group of seven women aged from 70 till 75 years. The monitored parameters are physical functions. The Senior fitness test was used for the measurements and the data was statistically processed using the Parallel t-test. Although there was no significant difference, the research had a great impact on the clients Hospitals Volyně.

Author: Bc. Barbora Kuhnová Title: Maintaining physical fitness and adherence to physical activity in healthy elderly women. Objective: The main goal of the thesis is to find out whether or not the seniors that participated in the project EXODYA back in 2017 and 2018, managed to maintain the level of physical fitness and adherence to physical aktivity (PA). The secondary goal was to determine the level of current PA and also how the level of PA was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: This is an empirical-theoretical study with a qualitative-quantitative research design. The research group I (N=30, average age 72 ± 4,02 years) took part in a questionnaire survey that included the International Physical Activity Questionnaire IPAQ and supplementary questions about influencing PA by the pandemics, using Google form. The research group II was made by 7 women that were also part of the research group I and that took part in the EXODYA project in 2018. The testing of these women consisted of 4 items of the Senior Fitness Test, hand grip strength using a digital hand dynamometer and maximum oxygen demand based on a stress test on a bicycle ergometer. Results: Most of the senior women who participated in the EXODYA project in 2018 maintained a level of physical fitness as well as adherence to PA....
