Este documento contempla el plan estratégico para la Clínica Peruano Suiza, ubicada en la ciudad de Cusco, Perú. Nosocomio que cuenta con una variedad de servicios que la convierten en una de las instituciones médicas privadas más completas de la zona, abarcando la atención de clientes que en su mayoría son pobladores de la región, como también un gran número de turistas que la visitan. El personal de la Clínica Peruano Suiza ha establecido como visión: “Crear excelentes unidades para la atención de salud de todo tipo de pacientes, en la Región Cusco, y ser el año 2030, la clínica más importante del sur del Perú”. Para ello, una de las estrategias dispuestas por sus directivos, es la de contar con colaboradores altamente capacitados, para que derive en un excelente servicio. Esa perspectiva institucional, sumada la situación que experimenta el sector salud en el país, representada por una demanda en crecimiento, que no está siendo respaldada por una oferta que llegue a satisfacerla en capacidad y calidad de atención, abre una excelente oportunidad para la Clínica Peruano Suiza, para expandir sus servicios y crecer, cumpliendo así con la misión declarada. En el orden de lo expuesto, se presenta un plan con el propósito de desarrollar una serie de estrategias, que lleven a la Clínica Peruano Suiza, a ser un referente en el sector salud en la Región Cusco y en el país, reconocido principalmente por sus pacientes y otras instituciones regionales. Plan y estrategias que se ejecutarán con la colaboración de todos y cada uno de sus trabajadores, como lo tienen previsto sus directivos. / This document contemplates the strategic plan for the Peruano Suiza Group (Peruano Suizo Clinic) located in Cusco city, Peru. Nosocomium that has a variety of services that make it one of the most complete private medical institutions in the area, covering the service of clients who are mostly residents of the region, as well as a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. The Group Peruano Suizo staff (Peruano Suiza Clinic) has stablished as vision: “to create excellent units in order to assist all kind of patients’ health in Cusco region and by the year 2030 we have planned to be the most important clinic in the south of Peru”. To do that, one of the board of directors’ strategies is to count on with highly trained cooperators in order to derive in an excellent service. This institutional perspective, added to the situation experienced by the health sector in the country represented by growing demand, which is not being supported by an offer that meets its capacity and quality of Service, it opens an excellent opportunity to the Peruano Suiza Group to expand its service and grow, thus fulfilling the declared mission. In the order of the foregoing, a plan is presented with the purpose of developing a series of strategies that will lead the Peruano Suiza Group to become a benchmark in the health sector in Cusco region and in the country, mainly recognized by their patients and other regional institutions. Plan and strategies that will be executed with the collaboration of each and every one of its workers as it was foreseen by its directory board.

La presente investigación es un estudio de caso de la Unidad Móvil de Salud de la Red de Salud Cusco Norte, un servicio de atención médica itinerante que utiliza un vehículo tipo bus, donde se han instalado tres unidades, que incluyen ecografía, odontología y laboratorio. Este servicio brinda un conjunto de prestaciones focalizadas en gestantes, niños y otros grupos vulnerables, que son financiadas por el Seguro Integral de Salud y las Estrategias Sanitarias de Salud Pública. Su alcance de intervención se limita a establecimientos de salud del primer nivel de atención de zonas rurales. La metodología del estudio de caso fue exploratoria y cualitativa, y se usó como marco interpretativo el diseño de la teoría fundamentada. El modelo de gestión tiene como principales protagonistas a los actores públicos, Red Cusco Norte y el establecimiento de salud, y cuenta con el apoyo del personal de los establecimientos, promotores de salud y líderes locales durante la difusión y el desarrollo de las actividades. Es una intervención que ha contribuido a mejorar el acceso de la población rural a los servicios de salud y mejorar el cumplimiento de metas sanitarias en la población objetivo. No obstante, las barreras administrativas dificultan el acceso de la población general, limitaciones organizacionales para facilitar la continuidad y la integralidad de la atención y carece de una estrategia que fomente la participación de los actores sociales que asegure la institucionalización y la sostenibilidad de esta intervención. / The case study of the experience of the Mobile Health Unit of the Cusco North Health Network, in Peru, has been carried out by a traveling health care service that uses a bus-type vehicle, where three units have been installed, including ultrasound, dentistry and laboratory, which provides a set of benefits focused on pregnant women, children and other vulnerable groups, which are funded by the public insurance (Seguro Integral de Salud-SIS) and health programs (Estrategias Sanitarias); and whose scope of intervention is limited to health facilities of the first level of care in rural areas. The methodology of the case study was exploratory and qualitative, which I use as an interpretive framework the design of the grounded theory. The management model has as main protagonists the public actors, Red Cusco Norte and the Health Establishment, and has the support of the staff of the establishments, health promoters and local leaders during the dissemination and development of the activities. It is an intervention that has contributed to improving the access of the rural population to health services and improving the fulfillment of health goals in the target population; nevertheless, it has administrative barriers that hinder the access of the general population, organizational limitations to facilitate the continuity and the integrality of the attention and it lacks a strategy that encourages the participation of the social actors that ensures the institutionalization and sustainability of this intervention.
