No. of bitstreams: 1 124161.pdf: 12437276 bytes, checksum: 7b07d52bb58c9c76f640bff9f021c914 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015-07-27 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The dissertation seeks to identify continuities and discontinuities within the field of Oral History, especially in Santa Catarina, between 1975 and 2013, taking as its starting point an enterprise that was based on this methodology: the Oral History Laboratory of the Federal University of Santa Catarina; as well the role of historian Simão Willemann, especially in view of the oral sources collection he did between 1977 and 1978, present in his personal file and in part (interview transcripts) also in that laboratory.The first chapter seeks to situate the Oral History Laboratory at the national scenario, discussing this place compared to the experiences in the field carried out under the Research and Documentation Center for Contemporary History and seeking to realize the main influences in the undertaking of the Laboratory and its activities.The following sources based the chapter: reference texts of brazilian oral history, journals (Brazilian Journal of History, University Journal of UFSC, Annals of ANPUH), interviews and documentation found in the archive of the Oral History Laboratory of UFSC.The second chapter focuses on the research conducted by Simão Willemann, working with the relationship between the oral and the written transcripts presented in the interviews carried out by him and within the limits and possibilities presented to this researcher. The main sources of the chapter were the recordings and transcripts of interviews conducted by Willemann between 1977 and 1978. The third chapter revisits the memories of people who had the opportunity to experience the rise of the oral history at UFSC, and its further development, specifically in regard to the Oral History Laboratory; in this chapter, therefore, the interviews given by these people are the main sources.The dissertation takes into account the theoretical and methodological framework of the History of the Present Time and mobilizes in its development categories such as memory, narrative and testimony. / A dissertação busca identificar continuidades e descontinuidades dentro do campo da história oral, principalmente em Santa Catarina, entre 1975 e 2013, tendo como foco um empreendimento que se pautou nessa metodologia: o Laboratório de História Oral da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina − bem como a atuação do historiador Simão Willemann, tendo em vista sobretudo o acervo de fontes orais por ele constituído entre 1977 e 1978, presente em seu arquivo pessoal e em parte (transcrições de entrevistas) também naquele Laboratório. O primeiro capítulo procura situar o Laboratório de História Oral no cenário nacional do campo, problematizando este lugar em comparação com as experiências nessa área realizadas no âmbito do Centro de Pesquisa e Documentação de História Contemporânea CPDOC e buscando perceber as principais influências no empreendimento do Laboratório e suas atividades. Embasaram o capítulo as seguintes fontes: textos referenciais da história oral brasileira, periódicos (Revista Brasileira de História, Jornal Universitário da UFSC, Anais da ANPUH), entrevistas e documentação encontrada no arquivo do Laboratório de História Oral da UFSC. O segundo capítulo focaliza a pesquisa desenvolvida por Simão Willemann, trabalhando assim com as relações entre o oral e o escrito presentes nas transcrições das entrevistas por ele realizadas e também com os limites e possibilidades apresentados a este pesquisador. As principais fontes do capítulo, portanto, foram as gravações e transcrições das entrevistas realizadas por Willemann entre 1977 e 1978. O terceiro capítulo, por sua vez, revisita as memórias de pessoas que tiveram a oportunidade de vivenciar este momento de emergência da história oral junto à UFSC, e o seu posterior desenvolvimento, mais especificamente no que tange ao Laboratório de História Oral; neste capítulo, portanto, as entrevistas concedidas por essas pessoas são as fontes principais. A dissertação leva em conta os referenciais teórico-metodológicos da História do Tempo Presente e mobiliza, em seu desenvolvimento, categorias como memória, narrativa e testemunho.
