1 TITLE: Specifics of womans ice hockey AUTHOR: Michaela Hrbková DEPARTMENT: Physical Education Department SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Ladislav Pokorný ABSTRAKT: This master thesis shows specific differences between men's and women's ice hockey. Point out anatomical, physiological, psychological, performance, technical and tactical factors affecting training processes and training units in men's and women's ice hockey. Using a questionnaire among players and coaches, I examined the knowledge of specific gender needs and their placement in the training units, knowledge of competition systems and game plans, differences in rules and men's and women's ice hockey. Furthermore, player and coaching history and hockey coaching education. Using a questionnaire among public, I examined opinions on female players and women's ice hockey, differences in attendance and viewership of men's and women's matches, knowledge of male and female players, teams and international successes of national hockey teams. I compared average age, weight and height of male players in Tipsport Extraliga and female players in women's league. I also compared the amount of training units of men's team HC Verva Litvínov and women's team HC Litvínov in the season 2014/2015. Title: Changes in level of balance after in-line preparation Objective: The aim of this thesis is to observe the changes in balancing abilities of students of FTVS after two month of in-line preparation. Methods: This thesis is quantitative scientific research, a quasi experiment and several methods were used in it. The method of literary research and the analysis of professional documents for processing the theoretical part of the thesis. Next, in the practical part, active observation, questioning and laboratory testing using the Footscan pressure plate. Results: By doing laboratory tests on the Footscan device, it was found that the level of balancing abilities of the students changed after two months of in-line preparation. Their balance improved. According to the established hypotheses, it was found that two out of four designated tests have statistical significance. Thanks to this thesis, we can say that in-line skating is an appropriate physical activity for improving not only fitness, but other motor abilities as well. Title: The analysis of competitors' physical preparation OCR (Obstacle Course Racing). Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to provide the analysis of physical preparation used by the competitors of the obstacle course races. The analysis was completed for all major competitor ability-based classes and then compared among the categories. Methods: For data collection quantitative research was used, provided by the survey method. Its form was an online questionnaire. Results: The research has shown that the competitors of the enthusiast class - recreational athletes mostly value the experience and the adrenalin the obstacle course races bring them, overcoming own maximum, looking for new challenges etc. Those are the type of athletes who do not have high performance expectations, they are not oriented to perform at their highest of abilities. Although, they are still capable of winning. They win over themselves, happy when they manage to overcome own fears. They consider as winning not only expanding own physical and mental capacities, but also just the actual finishing of the race. Performance athletes, compared to the recreational ones, are able to plan their training sessions much more effectively and with better training goals. Title: The Influence of Selected Elements of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation with the Use of Elastic Resistance on the Speed and Accuracy of Shooting of Extraliga Ball Hockey Players in the Czech Republic Objectives: The main aim of the diploma thesis was to evaluate the influence of selected elements of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation with the use of elastic resistance on the speed and accuracy of shooting of Extraliga ball hockey players in the Czech Republic. Methods: Extraliga ball hockey players in the Czech Republic (n = 30; age = 24,70 ± 4,55 years; body height = 182,67 ± 6,12 cm; weight = 83,35 ± 9,17 kg; BMI = 24,97 ± 2,37 kg/m2 ; overall years of ball hockey experience = 13,10 ± 3,82 years) were randomly divided into two groups - the experimental, PNF group (n = 15) and control group (n = 15). Before commencing the study, both groups' shooting speed was measured using the Supido Multi Sports Personal Speed Radar, and shooting accuracy using a practice sheet cover. Probands from the experimental group performed selected exercises containing elements of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation with elastic resistance daily for 8 weeks. Este proyecto consiste en el diseño de un centro de alto rendimiento enfocado en los deportes de natación, polo acuático, nado sincronizado y saltos ornamentales, dirigido a jóvenes deportistas que conforman parte de la selección de alto rendimiento. Se encuentra ubicado en el distrito de La Molina y busca mejorar el desempeño del deportista, disminuir el costo en su formación e incentivar la cultura deportiva en el país. La deficiencia en infraestructura deportiva limita muchas veces el entrenamiento de este tipo de deportistas. El objetivo es poder ayudar a estos jóvenes a obtener máximos resultados a edad optima y que sean participes de competencias nacionales e internacionales. Lo propuesto se puede lograr mediante una infraestructura adecuada y el espacio propicio para el desarrollo y entrenamiento de cada tipo de deporte. / This project consists in the design of a high-performance center focused on swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming and ornamental jumping, aimed at young athletes who are part of the high-performance team.
