The diploma thesis is focused on monitoring of cycle tourism on a selected section of the Elbe route between the cities of Prague and Roudnice nad Labem. The main goal of the thesis is to analyse current situation on this selected section of the route and to find out about its economic benefits. The theoretical part consists of explanation of the basic cycling terminology and the subjects supporting the cycle tourism are also presented there. Additionally prospective possibilities of funding are introduced there. The last two chapters of the theoretical part are focused on monitoring of the cyclists and the product of the Elbe route. The practical part analyses the selected section of the Elbe route.

The Final Thesis deals with the evaluation of the benefits of the Elbe Cycling Path within the Giant Mountains Tourist Region. The teoretical part is explaining the basic terms of cycling, describing the infrastructure necessary for this activity and also organizations and institutions active in this area. Within one separate chapter there is a description of the Elbe Cycling Path including it's history. The practical part is focusing on particular section of the cycling path between Elbe spring and Dvůr Králové nad Labem. It is based on the results of the qualitative and quantitative research, both undertaken on the Elbe Cycling Path. The benefits are evalueted according to the results of the research and some measures are proposed to use the potential of the path in better way.

This thesis deals with the characteristic of the Vysočina region and with a project of founding an educational natural trail "Povodím Blažejovického potoka". The thesis consists two parts. The first theoretic part describes the Vysočina region in light of geomorphological, biological, geological, natur protection and in which chapter is emphasization the area, in which is situated the lane of educational trail. It is compilatory text, which is composion like guide book to the Vysočina region for teachers, who decide for visit with their students not only this education trail, but another places in the Vysočina region too. They can find in the text another interesting places to visit. On the end of theoretic part are two chapters, historical interests and explication the concept of the education trail. The second, practical part include individual information boards with thematic content and their graphic layout. The education trail has 7 km with 12 information boards. ČERMÁKOVÁ, DENISA. The Shining Path - Reasons of Failure. Prague: Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, 2011, 63 pp. Diploma Thesis. The thesis focuses on twenty years of existence of the Shining Path. The first part of this diploma is focused on history, activities and ideological principles of this guerilla group. Its activities represented a threat not only to government officials but also for the indigenous population. The activities of the Shining Path broke the effective functioning of the state, which was in a civil war. The work also analyzes the situation of the indigenous population, which became the main target of terror both the Shining Path and state power. When the Shining Path became the main source of political violence, Alberto Fujimori was elected a president. Fujimori with great support from the population began vigorous fight against guerrillas operating in Peru. The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze the Fujimori strategy of struggle against the Shining Path. The thesis also deals with the apparent shift toward the Fujimori regime authoritarian form of governance. The essential role was played in this struggle by the indigenous population that despite the initial sympathy to the members of the Shining Path stopped to support it. The thesis deals with the development of key competences through Scout training. It focuses on the transformation of educational program in the Junák - Association of Scouts and Guides of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part describes the history, the mission and ideals of Scouting. It deals with the development of Scouting in Czechoslovakia (or the Czech Republic) after 1990 and also explains how Junák is perceived by the public. It was found out by studies that were done in 2003. This thesis compares the historical and current educative documents that are used to support the development of children and young people's personalities. The thesis describes the initial impulses that led to the program's modification. Also the system of competences, which is essential for the new program, is developed in the thesis. The practical part contains instructions and suggestions for effective development of skills and deals with the further education for scout leaders. The work is accompanied by attachments that contain examples of previous and modern materials and a table summarizing the development of competences.

The aim of this thesis is to create and implement a competency-based approach in the organization Junák - Czech Scouting for children of younger school age. Further, it analyses the possibilities and limits of such an approach. The theoretical part deals with the development of key competencies through scout education. Special attention is paid to the transformation of the educational programme in the children's organization Junák - Czech Scout at the beginning of the 21st century. Furthermore, the terms of competence and key competence are discussed. The practical part was carried out as action research in the 3rd Scout Unit Holubov. Using a questionnaire survey, the research first focuses on the reflection of Scout Paths, which represent the current scout tool for applying the competency-based approach. The next part of the research concentrates on creating a new competency-based model that verifies and reflects in practice. In the final part, the possibilities and limits of this new model are analyzed and suggestions for further implementations are proposed. The diploma thesis deals with treatment of project documentation of the corridor for pedestrians and bicyclists on road Blansko ČKD – Nový Hrad. It is a common two-way pedestrian and bicycle trail along the Svitava River and railway line No. 260 Brno - Česká Třebová and the regional road II / 379. Part of the design will be any footbridges across the Svitava River and other construction solutions to overcome difficult terrain in the problematic section. Part of the diploma thesis is the concept of a variant directional solution of the route and justification of the selection of a more detailed variant.

Title: Natural and Historical view of the area Dolní Poohří between Libochovice and Budyně nad Ohří. Abstract: This presented thesis deals with detailed characteristics of Dolní Poohří in the area between Libochovice and Budyně nad Ohří. The theoretical part presents a general research of the area from the natural scientific and historical points of view. It outlines geological and pedological situation of the area which influences plant composition. Majority of the thesis is dedicated to the ecosystem of bottomland woods and to their historical evolution in the area of Dolní Poohří. It focuses on the flora and dendroflora of the observed locality and links them to mutual connection. It also summarizes individual local species of vegetation. This thesis also describes the history of the area and points out especially castle area Libochovice and Budyně nad Ohří from the historical point of view. It offers a brief historical overview of modifications of castle garden and park, as well as their current situation and plant composition. In the practical part, an educational tourist trail from Libochovice to Budyně nad Ohří has been designed. This diploma thesis studies the influence of Sendero Luminoso, Peruvian Maoist guerilla movement, upon the life in Peru. The introductory part deals with the second half of the 20th century Peruvian history that preceded the internal armed conflict. The main part of the thesis focuses on the activity of Sendero Luminoso and counterinsurgency forces in the last two decades of the previous century and on the influence these activities had on the Peruvian population. The final part evaluates the present time (post-2000) influence of Sendero Luminoso in Peru as well as various forms of its presence.

Title A Project of Educational Bicycle Trail in Kokořínsko Protected Landscape Area. Objective The aim of this work is to create a project of Educational bicycle trail in Protected Landscape Area (PLA) Kokořínsko, create an information brochure, which could be distributed to tourist information centres in the region. Methods The discussion with employees of Kokořínsko PLA and collection of information on existing bicycle trails, bicycle tracks, educational trails, natural and cultural assets in the area. Classification and verification of collected data. Using the information obtained for creating an Educationl bicycle trail. Presenting a summary in an information brochure. Assessment of the project via questionaires. Results The result of this work is a proposal of two educational cycle trails with possible combinations in Kokořínsko in form of an information brochure.
