The Master's Thesis deals with the problem of the development of cycling on Elbe Cycling Path. The theoretical part is explaining the basic temrs of cyling, functioning of financing and managing of cycling in the CR and finally The Elbe Cycling Path his introduced from the perspective of history and future developement. The practical part is focusing on particular section of the trail between Litoměřice and Ústí nad Labem. This section of cycling path is analyzed and it is also subject of individual survey. Eventually author proposes some measures to solve problems of Elbe Cycling Path, that could contribute to the developement of cycling on Elbe Cycling Path.

Cross-curricular themes are important formative elements of education. A forest ecosystem is an environment with great importance and potential, and knowledge of forest ecosystem, processes taking place in it and human activities associated with it can be included in many educational areas. By combining these two phenomena we gain cross- curricular theme "Forest". A possible instrument for realization this theme is the forest pedagogy. In the theoretical part of the work is the term cross-curricular theme delineated and defined in general and also specifically on the example of cross-curricular theme "Forest". About the forest ecosystem are given knowledge that contribute to spreading the results of forestry research and to modernization of teaching about the forest ecosystem at elementary and secondary schools. The forest pedagogy is introduced as an instrument that can significantly contributes to deepen the learning points about "Forest" and its presentation as cross-curricular theme. Práce analyzuje segment zahraničních studentů jako skupinu ?návštěvníků?, která patří se svými specifiky k obtížené klientele, o kterou je třeba patřičným způsobem pečovat a poskytovat jí kvalitní univerzitní služby a pomoc. Práce také demonstruje obecné přínosy těchto hostů a trendy, se kterými se setkáváme na univerzitách. Větší pozornost byla zaměřena na vhodné doplnění programu letní školy pořádané na JU. Ve spojení s tímto doplněním programu se velká pozornost ubírala směrem ke zvolené atraktivitě - Stezce korunami stromů Lipno. Projektem diplomové práce je navržení a realizace projektu zatraktivnění této turistické atrakce v podobě aplikovaného nočního osvětlení, které přineslo provozovatelům nové možnosti využití a výhody. Druhá část projektu se pak zabývá prosazením tohoto místa do programu a to hledáním vhodné varianty pro reciproční spolupráci, které nakonec bylo úspěšně dosaženo. Stezka tak byla úspěšně prosazena do následujících programů letních škol pořádaných Jihočeskou univerzitou.

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to work out the optimization project proposal of the interpretive trails in the selected area of the Třeboň basin. The result of the optimization is creation of new product in the area of interest. The aim of the project is to contribute to the revival of some places in the nature trail through the innovative product.

This work deals with the utilization of Nature Trails for activation of children in their free time. The key issue of this work is to create a ficticious nature trail which may serve for general public while going for a walk. This way it is possible to strengthen and improve good relation between children, adults, and nature {--} by using interesting and easy-reached methods. The Nature Trail for Cyclists is designed in the northern part of Protected Landscape Area Třeboňsko and it is about 30 kilometres long with 16 information points. This Trail is supplemented by worksheets for children of younger school-age {--}these worksheets could possibly be used in the education process. In the practical part, results of children who followed the Nature Trail and fulfilled the assigned tasks were processed and assessed. The designed Nature Trail will be offered to Protected Landscape Area Třeboňsko to realize it.

This Diploma Paper deals with relevant questions of natural science and geography excursions in Stožec and his surroundings. In this Paper there are 3 excursions outlined - Scientific and geographical excursion on nature trail Stožecká skála, Excursion to geological exposition in Stožec and Excursion to Information Center and to the Centre of environmental education in Stožec. These excursions are set for the pupils of the 4th and 5th year of primary schools. They are also complemented with working lists. Their aim is to deepen and to fix pupils´ knowledge.

Thesis evaluated the proportion of functionalist architecture and urbanism of the city Sezimovo Ústí. Based on the review of the literature, questionnaire surveys and their own particular field survey work, the author tried to understand the influence of functionalist architecture and Bata planning concepts and ideas to present of the city Sezimovo Ústí 2 and also tried to find links from this time in the life of city and incorporating them into the project of the trail and approximate these problems to today's generation.

The European Union (EU) is a key trading partner for the People's Republic of China (PRC). Nearly one third of PRC's production is send to the EU and half of EU exports is directed to the PRC. Such huge trade volumes require an appropriate logistical connection, which is currently dominated by maritime transport. However, since 2007 railway transport has also been available. The aim of this dissertation is to evaluate the position of the railway transport of the PRC European route (with focus on the position of the Czech Republic) with regard to its development, obstacles and potential for the future. Firstly, the paper describes the background and reasons for the establishment of the New Silk Road (One Belt One Road initiative), followed by the trade and economic cooperation between the PRC and the Czech Republic. The practical part deals with individual aspects of railway connection. Neither in terms of trade volumes nor price can railway compete with the maritime solution, nevertheless it slowly but surely acquires its first regular customers.

The aim of this thesis is to implement a qualitative analysis on interpretive trails, which are also considered part of local heritage interpretation. This analysis verifies if the authors of panels used recommendations published in two known methodologies during their preparation phase. This research is applied on eighteen interpretive trails in the protected landscape area of Český kras. In the practical part of this thesis, each interpretive trail has been evaluated by applying nine criteria. The outcome of the thesis is an evaluation of visuals and content composed on the interpretive trail panels for the purpose of attractive communication. The most significant deficiencies of the panels of interpretive trails in the protected landscape area of Český kras are quality of graphical design, whether the text communicates with the reader and if the text does not require linear reading. On the other hand, the most important strengths of interpretive trail panels are that the visual elements are always well connected to the content of the text on the panel and the text is easily read without specialised terms. The interpretive trail that has reached the best evaluation in the qualitative analysis is Vodácká NS Berounka. On the other hand, the trails with the lowest scores were NS Památné stromy Karlštejnska and NS Klonk-Suchomasty.

The aim of the diploma thesis is the comparison of maritime and rail freight transport between Asia and Europe. The thesis focuses on characteristic of rail transport as an alternative mode of transport and identification of possibilities, how to increase its competitiveness towards to maritime transport. First part of the thesis analyses current situation in maritime and rail transport and focuses on their specifics and future potential. The practical part deals with the change of fictitious company´s logistics system. Maritime and rail transport are compared in terms of risks, costs and shipping time. The last part of thesis deals with possibilities of increasing competitiveness of rail transport in the future.
