Rural renewable electrification programs are increasingly being used as a means of providing the rural poor in developing countries with access to electricity. Those programs have varied significantly in design and implementation, as well as in their degrees of success. The explanations for the lack of success and the non-sustainability of the earliest programs are widely accepted as these tended to be technical demonstration projects that relied totally on funding from donor organisations or governments. These projects ignored or overlooked the vital question of how ongoing operational, maintenance and replacement costs would be met. Many genuine programs, however, also met with limited success and much effort has been invested in attempting to understand the reasons for this lack of success. To increase the rates of success of these programs, best practice guidelines were developed. Despite these efforts, many programs have continued to meet with limited success. These points required better explanations of the reasons for program success and failure, which requires a greater understanding of these programs. This thesis looks more closely at solar PV electrification programs being undertaken in the Asia-Pacific region to understand why some programs continue to be more successful than others. It aims to understand the decisions behind the planning and implementation of the programs and the reasons that are being implemented in the way that they are, the selection of program objectives, the actual benefits of the programs the and causes of any factors that contribute to their apparent success or lack of success. This understanding is obtained by undertaking in-depth comprehensive field surveys to obtain the views of all program stakeholders. The outcomes of these field surveys are then used to develop a comprehensive set of success criteria and a set of indicators that can be used to measure the success of rural renewable electrification programs. A roadmap that could be followed by the program planners and implementers to ensure program success is also provided.

This qualitative study was conducted to investigate how large publicly listed companies inSweden apply its code of conduct on external parties as well as how such application is bestcarried out. Three overarching steps (implementation, monitoring and actions) weredeveloped from previous research to serve this purpose. Agency and contract theory wereimportant to understand the underlying problems of application of codes of conduct onexternal parties. It was found that companies that adequately address all of the three stepsexperience a successful application of its code of conduct on external parties. Companies thatdo not address the three steps as thoroughly do not experience the same compliance with theircode of conduct. It was further found that many companies fail to adequately address theemphasized areas. Extensive deficiencies put companies in a vulnerable position as externalparties associated with a company might have a negative impact on the company’s brand andreputation. An outlook shows that companies are not prioritizing all of the steps sufficientlyand it is thus suggested that they revise their plans. The project was carried out incooperation with KPMG Forensic and Advokatfirman Delphi. A content analysis and a survey were used to collect necessary data.

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the development and success of rural municipalities within the administrative district of the Hradec Králové municipality. The thesis will take into account the influence of external development factors on the success of the municipalities, i.e. the influence of size in the form of population and the influence of location in the form of distance from the city Hradec Králové. In the spirit of the currently prevailing institutional directions of development, the emphasis on internal development potentials and actors and the so-called bottom-up approach in the rural development paradigm, municipalities will be evaluated on the basis of indicators based on these concepts, which can be used to assess the level of development and therefore the success of a rural municipality. The output of the evaluation will be an overview of each village and how its location in relation to the centre and its population affect its development. The final determination of successful and threatened rural municipalities will be compared for the entire Hradec Králové ORP. The goal of master's thesis is to map new and upcoming trends in tourism in developed markets and possibilities of its utilization on domestic market in the practice of tour operator, where the author works, for its long term and sustainable development. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on specifications and differences of tour operators and travel agencies. To make it complete, specifications of other subjects of tourism are placed in attachment, same for the general description of the position of Czech Republic in the world's tourism. The practical part contains detailed analysis of the on-line portal Invia.cz, successfulness analysis of tours organized by the tour operator, where the author works, recommendations for its growth and development and possible limits and risks, which it is exposed to. It is completed by an inquiry, which supports or neglects deducted conclusions and it brings additional notes for trouble-free business of tour operator. The result of the thesis is detailed analysis of activities of specific tour operator and specific recommendations for its planned expansion, which are supported by a research.

The aim of this thesis consists of defining a set of recommendations that should lead to more successful e-commerce website of EuroCup Agency s.r.o. The aim also consists of creating a schedule of their realization, setting of the complete realization goals and realizing of the recommendations that belong to the first phase. The thesis is based on theoretical presentation of possible steps that could be realized for improving e-shops' successfulness, and on extensive analysis of the monitored e-commerce website. This analysis is focused on the company's market, target segments and competitors, company's sales, offline conversion rate, statistics measured by Google Analytics tool, and usability of the e-commerce website.

The topic of this diploma thesis is the influence of joint custody on school successfulness of a child. In the theoretical part I describe a contemporary family and major functions of the family. I chart the situation of legislation in the Czech Republic, I deal with circumstances how the Czech courts make a decision about commiting children into parental care after a divorce of their parents and whether the number of children being involved in joint custody increases. I am really interested in the fact whether the courts make a decision based on the child needs. Following this part I focus on the definition of school successfulness of children and the behaviour of younger learners. I indicate the factors that could have an influence on school successfulness. In the practical part I present the results of my qualitative research. I explore the influence of joint custody into child school successfulness from the point of view of class teachers. I survey the behaviour of children who live in joint custody after the divorce of parents and I also take an interest into the fact whether the class teacher have noticed any features that could connect these children.

Model je sistematično predstavljen, integralno i kroz analizu mogućih scenarija primene.<br />Disertacija sadrži detaljan opis podloga na kojima je model razvijen. Verifikacija razvijenog modela je sprovedena kroz simulaciju izvršavanja algoritma na osnovu rezultata dobijenih primenom alata<br />na dva plastična materijala: PLA i PET.</p> / <p>The dissertation proposed a model for managing ecological marketing process by influencing on the 4S criteria of ecological marketing successfulness: Safety, Sustainability, Social acceptability and Satisfaction.<br />The developed model is based on the application of two tools: LCA and Ecological Rucksack and has a control algorithm form. Model is presented in a systematically way, integrally and through an analysis of possible scenarios of application. The dissertation includes a detailed description of the backgrounds on which the model was developed. Verification of the model is carried out through simulation of execution of algoritam based on the results obtained by applying selected tools on two plastics materials: PLA and PET.</p>
