Busca observar e mostrar as diferentes dimensões da vivência cotidiana, refletindo sobre a densidade dos significados atribuídos a esses espaços por meio das apropriações e usos dos moradores, mediante uma vivência individual e coletiva. Assim, terá ênfase a relação do morador com o lugar, explorado como espaço de referência e cenário de suas experiências de vida, buscando entender a construção de suas raízes com esse, a partir dos laços estabelecidos tanto no âmbito afetivo, como nas relações de convívio social. A comparação, o contraste, a percepção, a compreensão serão os instrumentos de investigação, análise e reflexão sobre o processo de apropriação dos espaços públicos nas áreas residenciais do Plano Piloto, não apenas como espaços destinados à passagem, mas à permanência, ao encontro de pessoas; espaços identitários, onde os indivíduos se reconheçam e reconheçam o espaço como lugar. A superquadra de Brasília, fragmento da cidade, será, então, percebida não apenas como idealizada, imaginada, projetada, como conceito, como mito; a ênfase esta em perceber como foi recebida e como vem sendo vivida por seus habitantes: homens, mulheres, crianças – cidadãos, que, por vezes, tentam, por meio de suas ações, moldar esse espaço a sua imagem, fazendo valer sua identidade, sua cultura. Nesse sentido, esta pesquisa trará ao nosso conhecimento a realidade, outro olhar sobre a cidade de Brasília, destacando os cenários que se formam no interior das superquadras. A intenção é perceber que, aos poucos, moradores de algumas superquadras começam a reivindicar e tomar posse de seu território, começam a criar subsídios para a garantia da tão sonhada qualidade de vida, buscando alternativas, de acordo com seu olhar de usuário, de tornar melhor o uso dos espaços onde vivem. Em suma, propõe-se tomar como objeto de pesquisa e análise um conjunto delimitado, mas significativo de áreas residenciais do Plano Piloto, buscando observar e captar a essência da vida nesse lugar. Para essa seleção, a pesquisa fará uso de critérios de abrangência e representatividade da diversidade de tipos que caracterizam a riqueza dessas áreas em Brasília. O processo investigatório buscará perceber a diversidade existente entre as superquadras das Asas Sul e Norte, 100, 200, 300 e 400, a partir de uma amostragem de tipologias de uso. A base desta pesquisa será o homem e a cidade, suas relações com o lugar, a memória coletiva. Espera-se a articulação da história urbana com os novos significados que as práticas contemporâneas imprimem nos seus espaços, nesse caso específico, nas áreas residenciais, objeto de estudo e investigação. Finalmente, esse estudo poderá vir a contribuir com a política de preservação da imaterialidade do patrimônio cultural da cidade, tendo na figura da sociedade o seu maior gestor. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This dissertation examines Brasília from a specific standpoint, that is, the use of its public spaces in the superquadras of Plano Piloto. It aims to observe and show the different dimensions of daily life, reflecting upon the density of meanings given to these areas through the appropriation and use of the residents, since an individual and collective experience. So it will focus on the relationship of the residents with the place where they live, exploring it as space reference and the setting of their life experiences, seeking to understand the growth of their roots in this environment, based on bonds established in the affective scope as well as on the relationships of social coexistence. Comparison, contrast, perception and comprehension will be the research, analysis and reflection tools concerning the process of appropriation of public spaces in residential areas of Plano Piloto, not only as spaces intended for passage, but also for permanence, gathering of people and well-known spaces, where individuals know each other and recognize the space as a place. The superquadra of Brasilia, a fragment of the city will then be perceived not simply as it was idealized, imagined, designed originally as a concept or as a myth; the emphasis is in figuring out how it was welcomed and as it has been experienced by its inhabitants: men, women, children - citizens, who sometimes try through their actions, shape this space in their own image, by asserting their identity and their culture. In this sense, this research will bring to our attention another reality, another look at the city of Brasilia, highlighting the settings formed within the superquadras; the intention is to realize that gradually residents of some superquadras start to claim and take possession of their territory, by creating subsidies to ensure the long-awaited quality of life, and seeking alternatives, according to their views, to make better use of the spaces where they live. In summary, it is proposed as the object of research and analysis a delimited set, but significant residential areas in Plano Piloto, seeking to observe and capture the essence of life in that place. For this selection, the research will make use of the criteria of scope and representativeness of the diversity of types which characterize the richness of these areas in Brasilia. The investigative process will seek to perceive the diversity among the superquadras of Asas Sul and Norte, 100, 200, 300 and 400, from a sampling based upon typologies of use. The basis of this research will be the man and the city as well as his relationships with the place, that is, the collective memory. It is expected the articulation of urban history with the new significance that contemporary practices imprint in their spaces, in this specific case, in residential areas, the object of study and research. Finally, this study could contribute to the policy of preservation of immaterial cultural heritage of the city, having in the figure of the society its greatest administrator.
