Previous issue date: 2006-06-19 / This work had as objective the assembly of a system automated for evaluation
of the consumption of fuel in agricultural tractors, in the utilization of biodiesel in
diverse mixtures diesel/biodiesel for the accomplishment of testing, without the
utilization of the tank of the tractor. The system was projected and mounted on
the UNIOESTE Cascavel - PR in partnership with the UTFPR Medianeira PR.
The system is composed for two auxiliary tanks confectioned in stainless steel
306 with capacity for 6 each liters, the which serve of deposit for the mixture
diesel/biodiesel utilized in the accomplishment of field assays. The selection of
the fuel flow is made by a selector key tripolar that is responsible by the drive of
the valves solenoids 3/2 ways, being these responsible by the addressing of the
flow of tanks 1, 2 and of the tractor for the measurer of flow and this for the
injector bomb and the return for the corresponding tank utilized. Were
confectioned two boards, a for the activate of the valves solenoids and another
for the flows meters and temperature sensor. To monitoring of the consumption
of fuel is carried out by two sets containing: a temperature sensor mounted in
series with flow meter, being the data collected for a acquisition data system of
the type Microlloger model CR23X for the accomplishment of the calculations of
the fuel consumption. The testing of laboratory showed satisfactory results in
the selection of the stream of feed and return for all the positions in the selector
key tripolar. For the accomplishment of the testing field, the system was
installed in an agricultural tractor Massey Ferguson model 5285 - 4 x 2 TDA
tractioning an chisel plow with 7 rod in 5 mixtures of diesel/biodiesel, presenting
satisfactory result for all the mixtures selected.

Cyclist support systems for future automated traffic: A reviewBerge, Siri H., Winter, Joost de, Hagenzieker, Marjan 03 January 2023 (has links)
Interpreting the subtleness and complexity of vulnerable road user (VRU) behaviour is still a significant challenge for automated vehicles (AVs). Solutions for facilitating safe and acceptable interactions in future automated traffic include equipping AVs and VRUs with human-machine interfaces (HMl.s), such as awareness and notification systems, and connecting road users to a network of A Vs and infrastructure. The research on these solutions, however, primarily focuses on pedestrians. There is no overview ofthe type of systems or solutions supporting cyclists in future automated traffic.
The objective ofthe present study is to synthesise current literature and provide an overview ofthe state-ofthe-art support systems available to cyclists. The aim is to identify, classify, and count the types of communicative technologies, systems, and devices capable of supporting the safety of cyclists in automated traffic. The overall goal is to understand A V-cyclist interaction better, pinpoint knowledge gaps in current literature, and develop strategies for optimising safe and pleasant cycling in future traffic environments with AVs.

Stavba automatických obchodních strategií na bázi tržních statistik / Construction of automated trading strategies based on market statistics.Šuffner, Otakar January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the construction of automated trading strategies, which are built on the basis of market statistics. In the first part are shortly introduced the basic parameters of the E-mini S&P 500. In this chapter is also a detailed description of the process of creating a market statistics. In the second part is described a process of building a number of automated trading strategies. Optimization of these strategies is conducted on historical data. In the second part of this thesis is also shown a discretionary trading system based on market statistics. In order to demonstrate the robustness of automated trading strategies, they are tested on a sample of data outside of the optimization period. The result of the diploma thesis will be an evaluation of the trades and evaluation of the robustness of automated trading strategies.

In intralogistics, technologically linked, variable-speed multi-motor systems cause high fluctuations in electrical power demand due to variations in the amount of transported goods. These fluctuations often result in overlapping load demands by various consumers, which strain the supply network and require overdimensioning of infrastructure. To address this issue, a physically extended DC link, in combination with an energy storage system as well as adapted control, can reduce both grid power demand and energy consumption while allowing for the recovery of potential and braking energy.
To evaluate the achievable reduction of grid power and energy demand, models were developed for individual components such as drive trains with motor, inverter, storage, axis coordination and material flow simulation with sequence control. An example of a warehouse system with storage and retrieval machines was used to determine the effects on throughput performance. To achieve this, the material flow simulation environment was extended to a combined system model, and performance-limiting control approaches were analyzed in interaction with the extended DC link and storage. Subsequently, economic feasibility of the individual solutions was determined.
The result is a procedure for efficient operation of intralogistics systems and a methodology for dimensioning a physically extended DC link with electrical storage. The overall objective was to identify economic solutions that reduce electrical load peaks, balance external energy supply, and make intralogistics systems more energy-efficient.
In conclusion, this study identifies economically viable solutions that can reduce electrical load peaks, balance external energy supply, and improve energy efficiency of intralogistics systems.
