Optimalizace externích materiálových toků / Optimalization of external material flow

Vrtalová, Lucie January 2009 (has links)
This Master thesis provides insight into the logistics of a particular company. The work is divided into two sections. The first one brings a theoretical base for the next sections and describes essential terms including the logistic chain, material flow management and logistics technology. The second section is analytical and was elaborated in a company Bosch Diesel s.r.o. in Jihlava. It contains an introduction to a Transportation concept and my own external analysis of material flows in the Czech Republic (within the scope of Bosch), based on which I suggest new solutions for the company. The costs of the particular suggestions are analysed and compared in the last part of this thesis.

Hydromorfologické hodnocení vodních toků na základě distančních podkladů / Hydromorphological assessment of rivers using distance data sources

Králová, Magdalena January 2013 (has links)
The thesis is aimed on hydromorphological assessment with usage of distance data. The distance method QuaWaDis is defined and the usage of results of image processing within the hydromorphological assessment is considered. The aim of the assessment is classification of hydromorphological conditions of water bodies according to Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC. Distance method is based on visual interpretation of public data. Image processing results can extend the number of parameters of the distance method - object based classification was applied on aerial imagery (in land cover classification), unsupervised classification and image reclassification was applied on multispectral satellite data (in water depths classification). The calibration of distance method and the credibility of the distance data was evaluated in comparison with results of field survey EcoRivHab (Matoušková, 2008). Object based image processing was aimed on accuracy assessment, index of efficiency was defined and the concept of fuzzy logic was applied in accuracy assessment. From consideration of classification efficiency is obvious, that large internally heterogeneous objecs is more effectivelly to vectorise manually. Accuracy assessment with usage of concept of fuzzy logic shows the success of object recognition within each...

Modelování povrchového odtoku v extrémním reliéfu / Modelling of the overland flow in an extreme shaped relief

Fárek, Vladimír January 2014 (has links)
This thesis is focused on finding the optimal tools for modelling of the overland flow and verification of its reliability and limits in an extreme relief of the Bohemian Switzerland. This paper focuses on the Open Source tools for modelling of the overland flow implemented in the geographic information system GRASS GIS. The region of the Bohemian Switzerland, especially of the same name national park, was chosen for two main reasons. The first is the fact that the range of reliefs' shapes of local sandstone rock areas is exceptionally varied. Extreme vertical segmentation, relief edges, changes of convex and concave shapes of relief, significant changes of profile, planar and tangential curvature and often extremely narrow and deep valleys are extremely difficult from the point of view of overland flow modelling. The second reason for the focus on the above mentioned field is the fact that for the given area there is available an exceptional quality digital elevation model (DEM) from the GeNeSis project - "Geoinformationsnetzwerke für die grenzüberschreitende Nationalparkregion Sächsisch - Böhmische Schweiz". This DEM financed from the operational program EU Interreg IIIA Cross-Border Cooperation was carried out by the Technical University Dresden and is characterized by high density of scanning...

Housing As A Sustainable Architecture In Turkey: A Research On Toki Housing

Sezer, Mete 01 May 2009 (has links) (PDF)
Turkey, as a developing country, requires substantial amount of housing stock. TOKi (Toplu Konut idaresi &amp / #8211 / Housing Development Administration), as the pioneer housing project builder, has a great significance in the housing production of Turkey. However both in TOKi projects and in general, sustainability has not been a central issue for the architectural practice in Turkey. On the other hand sustainability is an in evitable issue when the environmental, social, cultural and economical benefits are concerned. Especially sustainability in TOKi projects has a significance due to their potential to establish a re-production model. This thesis explores the benefits of sustainability for the housing project design in Turkey. The existing situation of three different types of TOKi housing projects will be critically evaluated. In the end, it will be tried to attain proposals for the development of sustainable housing in Turkey.

Remapping Contemporary Housing Production In Turkey: A Case Study On Housing Patterns And Marketing Strategies

Koca, Duygu 01 June 2012 (has links) (PDF)
The important positions of the thesis are mainly to understand the transformation in the architecture discipline under the umbrella of globalization and to define the current situation of residential architecture dominated by the new actors of construction sector through the transformation of identity value. In the first part of the study, how the production of residential architecture in Turkey is affected by the new values of capitalist globalization in the 21st century is examined. In order to monitor the development by the reflections of new actors in residential architecture, Istanbul is defined as a domain of the study. The main aim is to read the spatial and socio-cultural changes and developments in terms of residential architecture and to explore how the structure of the city affected by global developments and neo-liberal economic policies has formed. Thus, an inventory is established by the multi-unit housing projects completed in the first decade of the 21st century and the full list is investigated in terms of various kinds of housing supply and the different socio-economic status groups addressed by the projects. After defining the relation of residential architecture with city, the specific contribution of this dissertation is the explication of the role of the marketing industry in the formation of residential architecture through the conception of identity. The effects of marketing strategies on the architectural formation are discussed through selected cases to uncover which attitudes have caused the transformation in the internal values of the residential architecture. Therefore, the discussion on the identity formed by the coercive notions and the personalization of the actors involved in the process provides a basis for analysing the reflections of different disciplines on the architectural formation. This new discussion ground not only identifies the decisiveness of the architectural design in the formation of the end product but also contributes to the probe of the positional existence of the architect.

Tok Pisin on the Internet

Harvey, Jana R. January 2007 (has links)
Internet message boards are a medium by which educated Papua New Guineans who are living outside of Papua New Guinea (PNG) maintain ties to one another and to their home country. One of the languages that they use on these message boards is Tok Pisin (TP), an English-based creole spoken in PNG that has changed rapidly in theapproximately 120 years since its creation as a pidgin.Romaine (1992) suggests that decreolization by means of new changes toward English is occurring in the TP language. Smith (2002) disagrees and claims that there is no evidence for decreolization. This study shows that there is evidence in favor of decreolization, in particular a Matrix Language (ML) turnover (Myers-Scotton 2002), in the TP used on seven Internet message boards. This conclusion is also derived through the study of 139 letters to the editor in the TP weekly newspaper Wantok written during 2003 and 2006.In looking for English `late system morphemes,' whose existence in bilingual complementizer phrases that have TP as the ML would indicate the beginning of a ML turnover (Myers-Scotton 2002), this study counts deletion of the TP particle i as a late system morpheme. Results show that on Internet message boards, the particle i only marks the predicate in 33% of the locations where it would occur in Standard TP. In Wantok letters to the editor, i occurs 95% of the time. Internet users are more likely to be influenced by English and have less access to Standard TP. Although TP is still valued by highly educated Papua New Guineans in the English domain of the Internet to discuss personal topics and show solidarity with one another, it is not their first choice of language, and the loss of the particle i shows evidence for a ML turnover having begun in the language. One conclusion that may be drawn from this study is that planning for the future of TP by the leaders of PNG is essential to maintain TP as a community language. / Department of English

Optimalizace logistických toků v pivovarnictví

Langerová, Markéta January 2014 (has links)
Langerová, M. Optimization of logistic flows in the brewing industry. Diploma the-sis, Brno. Mendel University, 2014. The diploma thesis deals with logistic flows in the brewing industry. The main aim of this thesis is to determine problem fields of logistic processes and evaluation commonly used optimization methods. Then the best method is chosen for optimization in fields warehousing and distribution in brewing companies. Different parts of the logistic flows are described in this thesis -- supplier relationships, production, warehousing, transportation and distribution. Subse-quently logistic flows in brewery Vyškov are analyzed and found problem fields. The transportation and distribution are assessed as unsuitable in this brewery therefore the system of distribution was suggested by using the program LINGO. The example of brewery Vyškov is used for the generalization in the brewing industry.

Posouzení samočistící schopnosti vodního toku vlivem revitalizačních úprav

Polák, Karel January 2014 (has links)
Rate of pollution degradation in stream depends on its self-purification ability. Intensity of self-purification capacity differs by various streams and except other factors it is notable affected by the character of the watercourse. Due to rugged watercourse, longer detention time and more favorable conditions for resurgence the self-purification capability of restored streams is supposed to be higher than the self-purification capability of technically modified streams. In this thesis the change of water quality indicators in technically modified (923 m) and restored (264 m) reach of Haraska river (South Moravia, the Czech Republic) was investigated. Using QUAL2K software (USEPA, 2008) the water quality model was created. Comparison of changes of water quality indicator values between technically modified and restored reach was also performed (Mann-Whitney-Wilcoxon test, a = 0,05), whereas statistically significant differences were observed only in inorganic and total phosphorus concentration.
