Impacto dos beneficios do Sistema de Gestão de Transporte no desempenho das operações e na relação com fornecedores de serviço de transporte : na percepção dos usuários

As organizações em toda parte do mundo estão investindo em Tecnologia da Informação (TI) e aproveitando as vantagens dos sistemas de TI para alterar a conduta do negócio tanto no mercado interno como externo. Os recursos encontrados na TI podem aperfeiçoar o desempenho das organizações e aumentar a competitividade, sendo esta uma alternativa para enfrentar os desafios apresentados pelo mundo empresarial. É neste contexto que o impacto dos benefícios da utilização de um Sistema de Gestão de Transporte (TMS) é estudado neste trabalho. O objetivo geral da pesquisa é avaliar o impacto dos benefícios do uso do sistema de gestão de transporte e sua relação no desempenho das operações de transporte das empresas e na relação com fornecedores de serviço de transporte na percepção dos usuários. Para atingir este objetivo foram identificados na literatura, fatores relevantes sobre o tema para a elaboração de um instrumento de pesquisa sobre o impacto dos benefícios de um TMS. O método utilizado foi a pesquisa survey e um modelo conceitual foi elaborado e validado, por meio de testes estatísticos. Obteve-se um total de 118 respostas válidas para análise dos dados. Esta análise utilizou modelagem de equações estruturais para a avaliação do modelo conceitual e das hipóteses de pesquisa. O resultado indica que os benefícios de um TMS têm impacto positivo no desempenho das operações de transporte, que, por sua vez, têm impacto positivo na relação com fornecedores de serviço de transporte. Na percepção dos usuários participantes da pesquisa, esse impacto positivo tem mais força para os benefícios voltados aos processos operacionais do que para os benefícios gerenciais de um TMS. / Organizations around the world are investing in Information Technology (IT) and taking advantage of IT systems to change the conduct of business in both domestic and overseas market. The resources found in IT can improve organizational performance and increase competitiveness. This has been an alternative to deal with the challenges presented by the business in the world. In this context, the benefits impact of using a Transportation Management System (TMS) are studied in this research. The main purpose of this research is to evaluate the TMS benefits impact and its relation to the transport operations performance and to the transport service suppliers relationship through users’ perception. To achieve this goal, factors to measure the benefits were identified on literature to develop a survey instrument about the TMS benefits impact. The method used was a survey and a conceptual model was developed and validated by statistical tests. A total of 118 usable questionnaires were obtained. The data analysis used structural equation modeling to evaluate the conceptual model and research hypotheses. The result indicates that the TMS benefits have a positive impact on the transport operations performance and the transport operations performance has a positive impact on the transport service suppliers relationship. The users’ perception indicates that the positive impact is stronger for the operational process benefits than for the management benefits of a TMS.

Annotation: This thesis deals with the transport service in the South Bohemia Region municipalities. It evaluates the transport service quality from the viewpoint of public transport. The methodical part comes out of the theoretical part and it focuses on the number of links of particular municipality and its centre. Both road and train links were analyzed on the basis of the schedules in various time periods. The supplementary part is occupied with the municipalities? transport location and their relationship to the transport service. The final part contains the results evaluation and the synthesis of given problematics. The transport-geographical characteristic of chosen area, the map attachments and the table attachment containing data from the research are also a part of the thesis.

This dissertation is concerned with the analysis of time accessability of public administration service departments in the Vysocina region. The time accessability is being followed based upon the public transporation services including bus and train transportation. The opening chapters are dedicated to objects of the work and to the list of published literature. In the chapter called " methodics of processing" methods of the department selection and two basic transportgeographical definitions - transportation accessability and transportation servicing, are being described. Following chapter is devoted to the position and the importance of the transportation in space and to the evaluation of the current status of transportation in the world and especially then in the Czech Republic. The next chapter handles selected transportgeographical characteristics of the Vysocina region. The last chapter includes the evaluation of the time accessability of chosen departments from particular towns of Vysocina region.

Orientador: Antônio Fernando Branco Costa / Resumo: O presente trabalho desenvolveu um modelo matemático que contribui para o projeto de redes cicloviárias conexas e integradas ao sistema de transporte público por ônibus em áreas urbanas, fazendo uso da Otimização Multiobjetivo (OM) por meio da Programação Linear Inteira Mista (MILP ou MIP). A investigação dos critérios de infraestrutura que influenciam a demanda cicloviária e que deveriam compor a modelagem matemática foi realizada por meio da Revisão da Literatura e cinco critérios identificados, referentes ao: Conforto, Segurança, Objetividade, Intermodalidade e Continuidade. Cada critério é composto por uma série de subcritérios, dezesseis no total, classificados como parâmetros de projeto de entrada e/ou de saída para o modelo matemático, segundo funções objetivos e restrições. Uma aplicação do modelo foi realizada em um caso real para cidade de grande porte, em São José dos Campos – SP, e obtidas soluções exatas com redes parcialmente conexas (abordagem 1) e redes totalmente conexas (abordagem 2), integradas aos pontos de parada de ônibus e as linhas de ônibus da região delimitada, por meio da linguagem de modelagem General Algebric Modeling System (GAMS) e o solver CPLEX. Os resultados obtidos foram aderentes a realidade da macrozona de tráfego na região estudada e contribuem para o planejamento urbano como validado pela Secretaria de Mobilidade Urbana de São José dos Campos. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The present work created a mathematical model that contributes to design bikeway networks integrated to the public transport service by buses in urban areas, using the Network Multiobjective Optimization through Mixed by means of Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP or MIP). The investigation of the infrastructure criteria that influence cycling demand and that should set the mathematical modeling was carried out through the Literature Review and five criteria were identified, referring to: Comfort, Safety, Objectivity, Intermodality and Connectivity. Each criteria is composed of a subcriteria set, sixteen in total, which performed as input and/or output design parameters for the mathematical model, according to fitness functions and constraints. An application of the model was carried out in a real case in São Jose dos Campos city - Sao Paulo state, and exact solutions were obtained with partially connected networks (approach 1) and fully connected networks (approach 2), integrated to the stop points by bus and bus lines in the defined region, using the General Algebric Modeling System (GAMS) modeling language and the CPLEX solver. The results obtained were adherent to the reality of the traffic macrozone in the studied region and contribute to urban planning, as validated by the São José dos Campos Urban Mobility Secretariat.
