Výpočtové modelování mechanických zkoušek izolovaných buněk / Computational modelling of mechanical tests of isolated cells

Sůkal, Petr January 2009 (has links)
The master’s thesis deals with computational modelling of mechanical testing of isolated cells, particularly of single-axle tensile test. The aim is to imitate the real deformed shape known from experiments. At first, the structure of each cell component is described and analyzed according to their significance for mechanical behavior. The outline of basic mechanical tests used for cell testing is discussed next. A structural computational model comprising all components significant for mechanical purposes is created for the modelling. Those components are nucleus, cytoplasm, cell membrane and cytoskeleton. Due to the problems with convergence the model was divided into two parts. The first one treats separately the shape of cytoskeleton and the second one treats the shape of communicating components (nucleus, cytoplasm and cell membrane). Both of those partial models succeed in reaching the deformations according to the experiments.

Multiplikace tvaru jako prostředek ke konstruování reality / Multiplication of shape as a means of constructing reality

Málková, Helena January 2017 (has links)
Málková, H.: Multiplication of shape as a means of constructing reality. [Diplom thesis] Prague 2017 - Charles University, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education, 123 pages. The diploma thesis focuses on the theme of creation of systems, structures and constructions in visual reality. The theoretical part is aimed at the possibilities of multiplication, its growth into space or a plane, while regarding creation of plastic arts by selected artists from the field of fine arts. The practical part introduces author's conception of the topic by the means of photographic medium. Structure is a crucial phenomena in possible understanding of visual reality. It has prerequisites for development of transcendental thinking. We can discover it throughout the whole universe as its unifying element. The findings from the theoretical part are used as basis for didactic activities. The didactic part presents the realized art assignments, which are a part of the implementation of the research. The thesis brings findings and conclusions within the framework of the results of creation and teaching of the topic of spatial composition of multiplied form within a coherent object. KEY WORDS: construction, structure, movement, shape, space, material variability, racionality, photography, object creation,...

Zákonitosti rozdělení prudkých ochlazení v Česku a jejich příčiny / Regularities of the distribution of rapid cooling events in Czechia and their causis

Čašek, Matěj January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the topic of rapid day-to-day drops of air temperature. The research part of the thesis is focused on physical-geographical factors that affect the air temperature. Furthermore, the most common methods used to detect interdiurnal changes in air temperature are presented. Abrupt drops in air temperature were detected on the basis of the maximum and minimum daily air temperature at a total of 33 meteorological stations for the period from 1st January 1970 to 31st December 2019. The aim was to describe the regularities of the distribution of extreme drops in air temperature in both temperature characteristics, and to describe the influence of different physical-geographical conditions on the magnitude and seasonality of decline events. The thesis also describes the influence of the prevailing weather situation (according to HMÚ typing) on extreme decreases in both temperature characteristics. It was proved that the shape of the relief has a significant effect on the seasonality of decreases, especially the minimum air temperatures. Stations on convex relief are characterized by a more balanced distribution of these events during the year, while at stations on concave relief there are the largest decreases in the minimum air temperature, especially in winter. The influence...

Poznávání geometrických tvarů / Learning about geometrical shapes

Sýpalová, Zdeňka January 2012 (has links)
The diploma thesis Learning about geometrical shapes is focused on the development of the spatial imagination of learners using tangram. This aid is examined by mathematics and the possibilities of the usage of the aid while teaching mathematics at primary school are presented. The aim of this paper is to describe the solving process and strategies of tangram tasks, to descibe and explain phenomena concerning pupil's learning process about geometrical shapes using qualitative analysis. To reach the goals the experiments were done, their analysis is the maim pillar of this paper. While preparing the tools of the experiments, the difficulty criteria were set so it is possible to sort out the patterns according to that. The results of this paper shows that the solving strategies of learners are often similar to the adults' one, the difference is just in the experiences which make the adults' solving process faster.

Tvarové změny v axiálním systému při respiraci / Shape changes in the axial system during respiration

Slawiková, Eliška January 2012 (has links)
The name of the work: Shape changes in the axial system during respiration Goal of the work: the main objective is to perform a case study of brass parameters and changes the shape of the trunk during the ventilation maneuver, prepare the correct methodology of research and to conduct separate measurements. The thesis will be divided into two parts, the first will contain the theoretical background to the subject, in the second part will then be described by the research, where I measured the change in the volume of the lungs in relation to time, assess the impact of implemented ventilation maneuver on the individual probands and examine the respiratory dynamics in selected ventilation maneuver. Methods: in the framework of the fulfilment of the tasks of this work have been carried out experiments with the use of 3D kinematic record with Qualisys and spirometric measurement. The experiment involved three probands aged 20 to 40 specific common features. Each of the proband performed during the measurement of quiet breathing, maximum inhalation and exhalation and ventilation maneuver. Measurements were carried out in one day under standard conditions, measurements made on the day of probands quiet breathing, maximum inhalation and exhalation and ventilation maneuver (5 min total). Data records were...

Polovětné gerundiální a ing-ové participiální vazby v psaném a mluveném odborném textu / Gerundial and ing-participial clauses in written and spoken academic texts

Pajmová, Klára January 2013 (has links)
This Master's thesis deals with the gerund and -ing participial clauses in written and spoken academic texts. The theoretical part defines the academic discourse and non-finite verb forms. Gerund and -ing participial constructions are further described regarding their forms and syntactic functions. The sources used for the research part are two corpora of contemporary academic British English: BASE and BAWE. BASE corpus contains transcripts of academic lectures. BAWE corpus is a collection of university-level students' writings. Both corpora contain texts from four different genres and moreover students' assignments are divided into four levels of study. For the purpose of the research part of our thesis, only the genre "Arts and Humanities" and the highest level of study will be taken into account. The practical part analyses the frequency of gerund and -ing participial clauses, frequency of verbs occurring in these constructions and collocations of these verbs. A detailed analysis aims at studying 100 sentences from written texts and 100 sentences from academic lectures. This sample is examined regarding the internal structure of each non-finite clause and its syntactic function. The final section summarizes the results or our research.

Stochastické evoluční rovnice s multiaplikativním frakcionálním šumem / Stochastic evolution equations with multiplicative fractional noise

Šnupárková, Jana January 2012 (has links)
Title: Stochastic evolution equations with multiplicative fractional noise Author: Jana Šnupárková Departement: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Bohdan Maslowski, DrSc. Supervisor's e-mail address: maslow@karlin.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: The fractional Gaussian noise is a formal derivative of a fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter H ∈ (0, 1). An explicit formula for a solution to stochastic differential equations with a multiplicative fractional Gaussian noise in a separable Hilbert space is given. The large time behaviour of the solution is studied. In addition, equations of this type with a nonlinear perturbation of a drift part are investigated in the case H > 1/2. Keywords: Fractional Brownian Motion, Stochastic Differential Equations in Hilbert Space, Explicit Formula for Solution

Postavení adverbia u složeného slovesného tvaru ve francouzštině / Position of adverbial modifiers in French verbal core

KASKOVÁ, Kateřina January 2016 (has links)
This tesis deals with French adverbs and their placement by a compound form of verb. The purpose of this work is to find out if it is possible to apply any rules on these issues and to specify at least some of the rules. The first theoretical part of this work is focused on the summary of existing knowledge about placement of adverbs in French especially by a compound form of verb. Two main hypothesis are made based on this knowledge and afterwards verified in the theoretical part. This verification is based on data from monolingual synchronic corpora.
