Li Shangyinovy básně "o předmětech" přírodního původu. / Li Shangyin writing "on things" of nature origin

Shlenskaya, Maria January 2016 (has links)
Thesis abstract The aim of this thesis is to provide a detailed analysis of the chosen poems "on things" of natural origin written by Li Shangyin and their interpretation. Based on the analysis, I will make an attempt to find out how the author handles the conventions of the yongwu genre, to what extent his poems "on things" correspond to the previous poetic tradition and to what extent they are innovative from the point of view of the choice of topics, symbolism, language techniques and the overall message of the poem. The opening chapter of the thesis includes Li Shangyin's biography, a short overview of his writings and basic approaches to their interpretation, as well as a brief introduction of the yongwu genre and the basic peculiarities of Li Shangyin's poems, which belong to this genre. The next chapter is the essential part of the thesis, which provides the actual analysis of the chosen poems, supplemented with prosaic literal translations. This part of the thesis consists of a few sections, which are dedicated either to some particular type of Li Shangyin's yongwu or to a precise aspect of his poems, which belong to this genre. The conclusion of this study is that Li Shangyin's greatest contribution to the tradition of the yongwu genre is the transformation of poems "on things" into a kind of...

Básnické antologie jako součást vzdělání a výchovy čínských dětí za dynastie Qing se zvláštním zřetelem k Tang shi sanbai shou / Poetic anthologies as part of Qing dynasty children's education: the case of Tang shi sanbai shou

Paštěka, Václav January 2018 (has links)
This thesis analyses education and upbringing of children in China during the rule of the Qing dynasty and it concretely focuses on poetry, mainly the anthology Three Hundred Tang Poems. The thesis is based on the overall characterization of traditional education in China, how it is described in contemporary literary science, and more specifically it concentrates on the anthology of verses which was intended for educating children in the intellectually developed households. The paper consists of two main parts. The first part discusses aspects of the traditional Chinese educational system. The second part in detail introduces the above-mentioned anthology, its historical formation, content and an analysis of its themes. A conclusion aims to answer the question of role of the poetry in the Chinese educational system and to summarise approaches for teaching poetry. Keywords: Tang shi sanbai shou 唐詩三百首, Chinese poetry, Traditional Chinese Education

A farmacopuntura com xilazina para sedação em cães

Faria, Artur Bento de 19 December 2007 (has links)
Previous studies with pharmacopuncture in dogs showed its advantage for sedation, minimizing undesirable effects. The use of pharmocopuncture with xylazine in Yin Tang acupoint of dogs is investigated. Eight dogs were randomly submitted to four different treatment protocols according to a Latin Square double blind design: 1) 0.01 mL/kg of saline injected into Yin Tang acupoint (aquapuncture), 2) 1 mg/kg of xylazine injected subcutaneously at the dorsal region, 3) 0.2 mg/kg of xylazine injected subcutaneously at the dorsal region and 4) 0.2 mg/kg of xylazine injected into Yin-Tang acupoint (pharmacopuncture). Rectal temperature, heart and respiratory rates, arterial blood pressure, oxygen hemoglobin saturation and pulse rate and degree of sedation were measured before and at 5, 10, 30, 40, 50 and 60 minutes after treatments. Sedation was observed in xylazine and pharmacopuncture groups while saline injection and sub -dose of xylazine did not induce sedation. Both xylazine and pharmacopuncture induced reduction in respiratory rate, heart rate and arterial blood pressure. In conclusion, pharmacopuncture and the conventional dose of xylazine produced similar sedation in dogs. The results indicate the potential application of pharmacopuncture in dogs. Further studies could elucidate the optimal doses, drugs and acupoints to achieve the best effect.

A CONSERVATIVE REFORMER IN T'ANG CHINA: THE LIFE AND THOUGHT OF HAN YU (768-824) (BIOGRAPHY, CONFUCIANISM).

MANLEY, VICTOR EUGENE. January 1986 (has links)
Han Yu is famous in Chinese history both for his literature and for his defense of Confucianism at a time when it was being seriously challenged by Buddhism and religious Taoism. Although his influ- ence was limited during his own lifetime, in later times Han Yu came to symbolize the conservative Confucian values that are often identi- fied with the traditional Chinese state. This study examines Han Yu's life and thought in an attempt to determine to what extent his later image as an ideal Confucian was or was not justified. A chapter on the historical background provides the context for Han Yu's biography, which is divided into five chap- ters. This is followed by a chapter discussing the intellectual back- ground of Han Yu's thought. Two further chapters discuss, first, the basis of Han Yu's conservative image, and, second, a number of his writings which illustrate the limits of his conservatism. Han Yu's ideas are related to the political and social circumstan- ces of his times, and it is found that while he is indeed a conservative and a Confucian, the extent of both his conservatism and his Confucian orthodoxy have been exaggerated.
