Výuka německého jazyka na českých měšťanských a středních školách v letech 1869-1918 / German language teaching at czech town schools and high schools between 1869 and 1918

Kasinová, Barbora January 2016 (has links)
During the 19th century German language teaching as a foreaing language was significantly changing related to the development of education and the promotion of Czech language as the main teaching language at Czech schools. German language became optional foreign language even though there was a large number of pupils interested in learning German. German was offical language until the estabilishment of an independent Czechoslovak Republic also in Czech lands. In the introduction I focus on the organizational structure of the Czech education system in the Austria-Hungary monarchy between 1869 and 1918. Secondary vocational education was mostly changing and developing at this time, real gymnasiums and various specialization vocational schools were formed. I pay attention to teachers and their education too, since without good teachers there is no chance to have high quality education. The main focus of my work is an overview of the development of teaching methods of modern foreign languages. Development of methods is described chronologically from 17th century and in more detail in 19th century, when the most methods were invented. Instead of Grammar translation method, which was the standard in the teaching of foreaign languages for a very long time, new so called reform methods started to became...

Mattos, Fernando Pedroza de 03 October 2008 (has links)

No. of bitstreams: 1 Fernando Pedroza de Mattos.pdf: 253173 bytes, checksum: a2e158deeea2b125442864a218c67782 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2008-10-03 / This study aims at describing and interpreting the complexity involved in the phenomenon of teaching German as a foreign language, where project development is taken as an additional means of constructing knowledge. The theoretical foundations of the current study are related to complexity (Demo, 2002; Maturana & Varella, 2007; Moraes, 2006; Morin, 2005; Tescarolo, 2005), and to the concept of project, as described and interpreted on the scope of this work (Almeida, 2005; Behrens, 2006; Boutinet, 2002; Hernández & Ventura, 1998; Josgrilbert, 2004; Moresco & Behar, s/d; Valente, 2005). Hermeneutic-phenomenological methodology was taken up for describing and interpreting the above mentioned phenomenon (Ricoeur, 2002; van Manen, 1990; Freire, 2006, 2007), by means of electronic-hermeneutic conversations (e-conversations) with a participating teacher, in a private language institute. In a complex scenario where previous understandings are acknowledged as additional strategies to teaching German as a foreign language, the research has shown that working with projects might help mediating, not only language learning itself, but it may also promote the construction of knowledge on socio-cultural aspects, as well as political and economical ones. Two major themes, attitude(s) and process, have come up while interpreting the phenomenon of teaching German as a foreign language, in its complexity, by working with projects / O objetivo deste trabalho é o de descrever e interpretar o fenômeno da complexa prática docente envolvida no trabalho com projetos, no ensino de alemão como língua estrangeira (L.E.).

Čtenářské dílny jako prostředek učení (se) němčině jako cizímu jazyku / Reading comprehesion workshop as a way of learning German

Štěpánová, Marta January 2020 (has links)
The topic of this work is reading workshops as a means of learning German as a foreign language. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether, and if so, what is the organizational and methodically inventive form of didactic potential in teaching German as a foreign language. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. It focuses on the literary text and its role in teaching, as well as the representation of literature in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and in the Supplement to the CEFR. Attention is paid to reading skills with an emphasis on literary reading, which is crucial for working with literary texts. The concept of reading workshops represents a bridge between the theoretical and practical part and brings four different adaptations of literary texts targeting literary, communicative, intercultural, and linguistic competence. The empirical survey contained in the fourth chapter presents the results of a questionnaire survey, which was conducted among German language teachers at the elementary faculty schools of PedF UK. The research was based on the confirmed hypothesis that teachers rarely work with literary texts, even though they consider working with literary texts to be beneficial. KEYWORDS Reading, literary reading, reading workshops, didactic adaptation...

Rozšířená realita (AR) a její možnosti využití ve vzdělávání: zhodnocení přínosu AR pro výuku lexika v němčině na základě komparace klasické a experimentální metody učení / Augmented reality (AR) and its possibilities of use in education: evaluation of the contribution of AR for teaching vocabulary in German based on a comparison of classical and experimental learning methods

Studničková, Anežka January 2021 (has links)
Title of the master's thesis: Augmented reality (AR) and its possibilities of use in education: Evaluation of the contribution of AR for teaching vocabulary in German based on a comparison of classical and experimental learning methods Abstract: This master's thesis focuses on the use of augmented reality (AR) in the context of education. AR currently represents a dynamically evolving technology. The aim was to explore the benefits of using AR for foreign language teaching, to compare the possibilities of didactic application with the traditional way of teaching and to find out whether learning with AR is a motivating factor stimulating students' interest and a tool for better understanding and memorizing through visualization and acting on emotions. The theoretical part of the work presented the characteristics of augmented reality, its types and areas of use and compared it with virtual and mixed reality. It briefly mentioned the history of AR, the advantages and negative aspects of the use of this method, the current state of research in language didactics and cases of the use of AR in education in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the practical part, a web interface was created using the Model Viewer tool, which allows users to view 3D objects in augmented reality. Then, quantitative research was...

Možnosti využití internetu ve výuce německého jazyka na gymnáziích v České republice / Possibilities of Using the Internet in teaching German at secondary schools in the Czech Republic

Červenková, Martina January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to show the possibilities of using the Internet in order to make language learning more effective. In the centre of attention is the language learning at secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The aims, contents and particularities of teaching German at secondary schools in the Czech Republic are defined at the beginning, followed by a discussion about convenient didactic methods according to the educational theories. Internet tools and other its characteristics, which could contribute to the efficiency improvement of language teaching, are also introduced. The thesis also pays attention to the specialized terminology. In the practical part, we can find, at first, some specific prerequisites of using the Internet in teaching a foreign language. We can also find some concrete examples of using the Internet as a support in teaching with regards to the established educational aims. All is based on my own teaching experience and on an extensive internet and foreign literature research. Some useful internet web pages are also mentioned. The thesis shows that the Internet offers quite a lot of possibilities which could, in a way, contribute to efficiency improvement in teaching German.

Využití grafického románu ve výuce němčiny / Graphic novels in German language teaching

Klusáčková, Marie January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of using graphic novel in German language teaching (teaching German as a foreign language). The main premise of this thesis is that graphic novel, as a multimodal medium and a phenomenon of current literature, has a wide potential for the German (and other foreign languages) classroom. The goal of the thesis is to design a didactic material respecting the specific qualities of graphic novel and drawing upon its potential. The first chapter serves as an introduction, exploring graphic novel as a medium, as a phenomenon of current literature and as a pedagogical tool. The term is defined and put into context. In the second chapter, the method of a review study is employed to explore how graphic novel is used in the foreign language classroom. The systematic review has shown that it is possible to use graphic novel as a tool for achieving the objectives of foreign language teaching and learning - the language aims (through vocabulary acquistition, reading skills development and creative writing) as well as the cognitive and formative aims (through the development of literacies, cultural and historical awareness, intercultural competence and citizienship). Moreover, graphic novel proved to be positive influence on motivation. The third chapter uses the...
