Využití materiálů pro výuku češtiny jako cizího jazyka v terapii afázií / How to use materials for teaching Czech as a foreign language in the therapy of afasiaVaněčková, Lenka January 2017 (has links)
Teoretická část práce přináší vybraná specifika češtiny jako cizího jazyka a terapie afázií a ukazuje shodné rysy jazykového projevu těchto dvou typů mluvčích.

Příprava inhibitorů Neuraminidasy vhodných pro teranostiku / Synthesis of Neuraminidase binders suitable for theranosticsBerenguer Albiñana, Carlos January 2018 (has links)
Influenza viruses cause respiratory illnesses which can vary in severity depending on the strain of the virus, as well as the age and health condition of the host. Influenza remains a major threat to public health due to its nature prone to suffer mutations. As a result, vaccines have to be reformulated annually and new strains may cause sporadic global pandemics. Furthermore, the recent emergence of resistant strains of the virus against the current standard of care (oseltamivir and zanamivir) underlines the need of novel anti-influenza therapeutics. The aim of this dissertation work is to contribute to the discovery of new anti-influenza inhibitors either by rational drug-design and optimization of oseltamivir structure, or by developing screening assays suitable for the discovery of novel inhibitors of the enzymes neuraminidase or RNA-polymerase. Scheme 1. Overview of the strategy used for the development of new anti-influenza therapeutics. The dashed arrows indicate the inhibitors that were converted into probes and their corresponding target enzymes Two main modification points were explored for the improvement of oseltamivir properties (Scheme 1); modifications at carbon C-3 aimed to overcome oseltamivir resistance caused by common mutations like H274Y, meanwhile modifications at carbon C-5...

Vliv pulzní terapie glukokortikoidy na EKG / The influence of pulse glucocorticoid therapy on ECGJuríková, Nikola January 2019 (has links)
Candidate: Nikola Juríková1 Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Jiří Vlček, CSc.1 Consultant: doc. MUDr. Tomáš Soukup, PhD.2 1 Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University 2 2nd Department of Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology, University Hospital in Hradec Králové Title of the master thesis: Effect of pulse glucocorticoid therapy on ECG Glucocorticoid pulse therapy (PT) is used to terminate acute exacerbations of immunologically mediated diseases. The aim of this thesis was to analyze the influence of methylprednisolone (MP) PT on ECG changes, mainly on QT interval, as prolonged QT interval may induce ventricular arrhythmias and to identify other risk factors (RF) for QT prolongation. Data were gained retrospectively from medical records of patients hospitalized at II. Internal Gastroenterology Clinic of University Hospital Hradec Králové. QT was corrected to QTc using Bazzet (QTcB) and Fridericia (QTcF) formula, QTc >450 ms (men) and QTc >460 ms (women) was considered prolonged. QTc changes before and after pulse therapy were determined as ∆QTc. 325 pulses of MP were administered to 277 patients (66,0 % women), ECG was available in 94,2 % (n=306 from 325). After PT there was significant ∆QTcF 14,6 ms (p <0,001) and ∆QTcB 5,6 ms (p <0,001)....

Využití zahradní terapie při práci se seniory / The use of Horticultural Therapy in Work with SeniorsMíčková, Adéla January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the theme of horticultural therapy in the Czech Republic. The thesis is especially focused on the utilization of this therapy with seniors. The theoretical part contains chapters dealing with age, needs, and horticultural therapy, which is an effective way of meeting the needs of the elderly. The horticultural therapy is presented from the historical point of view. In addition the state of the horticultural therapy in Czech Republic is described in general. Furthermore this chapter describes the usage of the horticultural therapy abroad. Key features of the horticultural therapy are presented in order to ensure effectiveness of this method. Therapeutic gardens are defined in this part, as well as key differences between horticultural therapy and other generally used therapeutic approaches. The research is based on semi-structured interviews with relevant persons in the Czech Republic. The interviews were conducted with three groups of people. The first group consists from individuals who are mainly oriented in the theoretical level of horticultural therapy. For example they have an overview of the state of horticultural therapy in the Czech Republic, especially in the realization of horticultural therapy or legislative issues. The second group are those who practice...

Terapeutický potenciál mezenchymálních kmenových buněk v myším experimentálním modelu / The therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stem cells in a mouse experimental modelHájková, Michaela January 2017 (has links)
Due to their immunomodulatory and regenerative potential, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) represent a promising therapeutic tool for cell-based therapy, organ transplantation or tissue engineering. To improve clinical applicability of MSCs, new methods to increase their delivery and efficacy have been tested in the latest years but the mechanism of observed alterations has not yet been described. In the present project we focused on studying the effect of several factors that can significantly affect the therapeutic success of MSC-based treatment. Initially, we analysed the therapeutic effect of MSCs applied locally on nanofiber scaffold with incorporated cyclosporine A (CsA) in a mouse model of allogeneic skin transplantation. Our results indicate that application of MSCs in the presence of CsA direct M1/M2 macrophage polarization towards regulatory phenotype. This phenotype switching is accompanied by decreased production of nitric oxide (NO) and interferon (IFN-) and increase production of interleukin 10 (IL-10), and may result in suppression of the local inflammatory reaction. The next goal of proposed study was to analyse the effect of the treatment based on MSCs combined with immunosuppressive drugs with different mechanism of action on the balance among distinct T cell subpopulations. We...

Využití zpětnovazebných míčků SunBall k funkční diagnostice ruky a terapii úchopů / Use of SunBall biofeedback balls for functional diagnosis of the hand and for hand grip therapyPlandorová, Michaela January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis explores the use biofeedback balls called SunBall® as a possible alternative in hand diagnostics and grip therapy in occupational therapy practice. This thesis includes theoretical knowledge about stroke with emphasis on upper limb from the point of view of occupational therapist. It describes the types of grips and discusses the use of a robotic biofeedback in occupational therapy practice. It includes basic information about SunBall® machine, which is used in the practical part of the thesis. The practical part of the thesis evaluates the benefit of the machine in interventions with patients after stroke in subacute and chronic phase. It also presents its possibilities of use in hand diagnostics. Performing these results objectively was achieved by the use of specific occupational therapy examination and also by standardized method, such as modified Ashworth scale, Jamar dynamometer or goninometric measurement. As the results of this thesis show, there is an apparent positive influence on the upper limb and grip therapy according to the disability of probands. There was no success in finding an appropriate application of the measured modalities of the machine in the area of upper limb and grip diagnostics.

Efektivita vybraných nekonvenčních rehabilitačních postupů u pacientů s poruchou autistického spektra / The effectiveness of chosen unconventional rehabilitation methods in Autistic Spectrum DisorderIkonomi, Krist January 2020 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the science' state of unconventional physical therapies, such as yoga therapy (YT) and equine-assisted therapy (EAT), in the treatment of the Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in children and young adolescents. The aim of this systematic review is to highlight the effects of unconventional physiotherapy in autism. Data from 12 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were retrieved and analyzed to help with the making of this review. Physical, cognitive and social functions were measured in approximately 530 children and adolescents with autism, always partaking in either case or control group. Results indicate that the above mentioned therapies have an overall positive impact in the treatment of autism by reducing the stereotypical behaviors and increasing the cognitive and social functions. Participants vary from 4 to 16 years of age. There is still a gap of knowledge when it comes to all the direct effects and action mechanisms of such therapies in the lives of these children. Therefore a lot of space for further studies is present and also recommended. Future RCTs are needed to better refine treatment choices, in order to come up with new and better ways of dealing with such disorder. Keywords: physiotherapy; yoga therapy; horse riding therapy;...
