Design and Implementation of SIM Functionality for TETRA-system on a Smart Card / Design och implementation av SIM-funktionalitet i ett smartcard för TETRA-systemetOlofsson, Jonas January 2012 (has links)
TETRA is an open radio standard developed by ETSI. It is specifically designed for use bygovernment agencies, emergency services such as police forces, fire departments, and ambulance, public safety networks, train radios, transport services, and the military. The TETRAstandard is used in the Swedish public safety net Rakel. Today the hand-held devices inRakel do not use a SIM card to hold the user identity. Instead, the terminal is personalisedby hard coding the user information in the terminal. As the users group grows a need forSIM cards will probably emerge since it simplifies the handling of the users for the networkadministrator, and allows the user to replace a broken terminal by simple moving his/herSIM card to another terminal. This master thesis examines the TSIM standard and extractsa specification of requirements, proposes a suitable software architecture, and partially implementsTSIM functionality on a smart card. The conclusion is that a TSIM applicationcan be integrated with an E2EE application but some modifications are needed compared toonly having the TSIM functionality in the smart card. The design and architecture describedin this master thesis can be used in systems that already use the SIM slot of the hand-helddevices for a smart card that extends the functionality of the terminal.

Vliv teploty a světelných podmínek na reprodukci akvarijní ryby Anoptichthys jordani / The influence of temperature and light conditions on reproduction of aquarium fish Anoptichthys jordaniŠABLATURA, Pavel January 2010 (has links)
In this diploma work the influence of temperature of water and light conditions on reproduction of aquarium fish Anoptichthys jordani was investigated. Experiments were carried out in different light conditions and different temperatures of water. Fish were spawned by a method of pair and group spawning. In the end of the work optimum combination of temperature of water and light conditions on reproduction of the species is mentioned. The results of this work can be used in reproduction of investigated species.

Technology acceptance of complex products and systems. The case of Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA).Hainbuchner, Christina Maria January 2005 (has links) (PDF)
Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA), a complex communication system based on a digital technology, is mainly used by public safety services. As the TETRA technology is included in a category of industrial goods called complex products and systems (CoPS), this communication system is the candidate CoPS example. In all business contexts, complex information technologies or information systems bring productivity gains for the organization only when the target group uses the system in the way it is supposed to be used. The underlying study investigates the factors influencing the acceptance of the TETRA technology on the end-user level. The theoretical model is based on Davis' (1989) Technology Acceptance Model. A qualitative pre-study was followed by a broad empirical assessment in quantitative terms (295 data sets). Results confirm the original TAM core constructs. When an already implemented system is examined, the behavioral intention component need not be taken into consideration in the TAM. The specific extension of the traditional TAM is especially valuable, as this study proves the high significance of the influence of perceived system interoperability. Moreover, peer group influence and competitive pressure have a significant influence on the user's attitude towards the use of TETRA technology. Social influences - except the influence from supervisors - play an important role in accepting mandated TETRA technology. The overall model provides valuable theoretical input for further technology acceptance studies and offers a better insight into the CoPS setting. (author's abstract)

Osteologia descritiva e desenvolvimento do esqueleto axial e apendicular de Gymnocorymbus ternetzi (Boulenger,1895) (Characiformes Characidae) /Martins, Bárbara Araújo January 2016 (has links)
An important species within this group is the black tetra, also known as black skirt tetra. This species has been widely used in general studies of biology, genetics and physiology, but only recently has undergone a comprehensive taxonomic study whose results have led to the need for greater understanding of the states of the characters involved. The objective of this project was to describe the ontogenetic development process - the components of the axial and appendicular skeletons of Gymnocorymbus ternetzi, with emphasis on informative features of the phylogenetic point of view, as well as the osteology of adult to complement existing information and understanding of the likely synapomorphies previously proposed. The specimens of G. ternetzi used in this study were commercially purchased and kept in community tanks of 300 liters with temperature 26 to 28 ° C and pH between 6.5 and 6.8. After entering the breeding season, males and females were placed in pairs (couples) in aquariums of 30 liters, with temperatures around 28 ° C. Situations to stimulate spawning were simulated and after spawning adults were taken to avoid possible predation of eggs. Our results provide important information on the development of the appendicular and axial skeleto... (Complete abstract click electronic access below) / Mestre
