Pegoraro, Raquel Aparecida January 2014 (has links)
The adoption of agile methods is effective way to reduce the delivery cycle on software development, providing quality software in a short time. However, the adoption of this new approach to software development is necessary rethink how to measure and control projects. Agile methods not explain about adoption metrics and measurement process for software projects of this approach, lacking studies providing recommendations on how to establish metrics for agile projects and how to adopt a process measurement compatible with this approach. Contributing this thesis goal produce a set of metrics adequate monitoring needs and propose a measurement processcompatible with agile software development. Method of research was exploratory through literature review and field research with depth interviews in experienced software development companies in agile methods. The first result of this work is the presentation of a consolidated metrics set to help the management of agile development at the phases of project/releases, iteration and daily. The metrics are specified detailed containing the information necessary for their understanding and application. Later we propose a measurement process compatible with agile approach to software development, to support businesses that adopt agile methods in defining adequate metrics for your measurement needs and monitoring. The process include the steps of measurement planning, monitoring of the iteration, the iteration actions, monitoring project/releases, actions on the project/releases and final evaluation, in each stage of the process provides recommendations for implementation. The process is structured in a management cycle based on steps to plan, implement, check, act, reflect and improve, respecting the characteristics of agile software development projects and propose a visual tracking board that allows for the management of the measurement process. In addition to the results were allowed hypotheses and recommendations for future work.

Deciding on Optimum Set of Measures in Software Organizations / Bestämma Optimal rad åtgärder i Software Organisationer

Bhatti, Ansar Malook, Abdullah, Hafiz Muhammad January 2009 (has links)
Software measurement process is a significant part of process improvement in software organizations. The organizations usually follow a measurement process that includes measures selection, data collection, and analysis to improve their processes. Most of the software organizations face difficulties in deciding the measures to collect since there is no universal set of measures for all types of organizations and projects. Experience shows that measurement can be more successful if the measures are collected based on the goals of the organization or the project which it will serve. A few methodologies exist to aid the software organizations. Goal Question Metric (GQM) is one of the most widely known and used one. However, one of the major constraints for the organizations is the associated cost when collecting the measures. Therefore, software organizations also require selecting the optimum set of measures which are good enough for the organization. This thesis study aims to provide solution for this problem. We propose a model, named ‗Optimum Measure Set Decision Model (OMSD)‘, which is an extension of GQM paradigm. The model is based on a heuristics approach, which aims to provide the optimum set of measures from a large number of possible measures. To develop the model, we identified the factors which are significant in selecting the optimum set of measures based on the literature survey results. Then, we evaluated those factors by conducting an empirical study. As the empirical research strategy, we used traditional fixed non-experimental design strategy. We performed a survey by distributing a structured questionnaire in order to evaluate the important factors we identified when selecting the optimum number of measures to be collected in an organization. We evaluated the heuristics rules by means of some sample cases we created. Moreover, we provided an idea for an alternative solution to optimize the number of measures to be collected for the future research. / Software measurement process is a significant part of process improvement in software organizations. Um olhar sobre medidas em física

Steffens, César Augusto January 2008 (has links)
In this work we present a set of activities involving the measurement process in Physics for high school students. The activities include manual measurements, exercises about order of magnitude and scientific notation, significant figures and errors, as well as simulations, videos, handling of sensors, an introduction to the study of electric circuits and to automatic acquisition of data, an investigation of the relation between physical magnitudes observed in the same physical phenomenon and rudiments about functions adjustment to a experimental datas. Printed instructional material with tasks and challenges guides the work of the students in small groups (two or three students/group). The idea is to give them the opportunity to build their knowledge about measurement of magnitudes in Physics by testing and exploring the materials provided to them, always socializing the discoveries and conclusions achieved in the small groups and completed in discussions among all the students, involving or not the teachers. The theoretical basis for the development of this work is the socio-interacionist theory of Vygotsky, in which the cognitive development of the individual necessarily depends on the social, historical and cultural contexts, their signs and instruments, having their origin in social processes. The activities proposed were implemented in classroom situations, for two groups of high school students in a public high school (“Colégio de Aplicação da UFRGS”), in an elective course of Curriculum Enrichment, entitle “What is this measure?”. The activities and their guidelines were tested in a group of students in the second semester of 2007. Some modifications were done to improve them and another group of students tested them in the first semester of 2008. Both didactical experiments are reported in detail in the present work. The educational output of this work consists of one instructional text for high school teachers, a conceptual test about measurement of magnitudes in Physics and thirteen guidelines for those activities for high school students.

Způsobilost měření karoserie na In-line 3D měřícím zařízení / Capability of body measurement on an in-line 3D measuring device

Čada, Michal January 2020 (has links)
By developing optical measurement technologies of shapes and elements, it is now possible to measure the carbody directly in the production flow of the welding company's line for the production of cars, the so-called „In-line measurement“. When deploying this control process, you also need to process the amount of data measured using the standard described procedure for process control. The thesis presents a proposal for the introduction and control of the dimensional inspection process of the final product of the welded body.
