No. of bitstreams: 1 Adriana Piñeiro Fidalgo.pdf: 2646991 bytes, checksum: ee682e18c42016382789eaa83c30ab3c (MD5) Previous issue date: 2016-04-01 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The present work aimed to: (1) identify, characterize and systematize the different theoretical proposals about what Skinner (1963/1969) called ruled governed behavior and also identify its proponents; (2) identify in which points these proposals converge; and (3) identify which authors communicate with other authors and what arguments the said authors use and point out their convergences and divergences with each other; (4) evaluate what problems raised by the authors have already been solved and those that still need further investigation; (5) describe how these theoretical proposals developed through the years. To do so, book chapters and papers in which the authors presented an original theoretical proposal on the subject were selected – the selection incorporated both domestic and international works. Different strategies to select these work were used, for instance: (1) searching in important periodicals on the field; (2) searching important authors of the field; (3) searching for the works cited in the works found through steps (1) and (2). The documents that were selected were then read and organized chronologically. Were identified the: (1) authors; (2) year of publication; (3) terms used to designate the concept of rule; (4) the function attributed to the rule; (5) the topography of the rule; and (6) the explanation of the instructional control (specification of the behavior process involved). Five original proposals were found – Schlinger’s and cals; Hayes’ and cals; (3) Catania’s and cals; (4) Mallot’s; and (5) Cerutti’s. The analysis of the data found suggest that there is little dialogue between these authors. Currently, there is not a consensus in regard to understanding how rules govern the behavior of the listener. Beyond further experimental studies on the subject, the current research proposes that it is absolutely fundamental a broader (and better) dialogue in the area. Such work is fundamental because the current state of the debate shows that behavior analysis does not have a consensual proposition to one of the most common forms of human behavior: the ruled governed behavior / O presente trabalho teve como objetivos: (1) identificar, caracterizar e sistematizar as diferentes propostas teóricas sobre aquilo que Skinner (1963/1969) nomeou de comportamento governado por regras e identificar seus autores; (2) identificar em quais pontos essas propostas convergem; e (3) identificar que autores dialogam com que outros autores, quais os argumentos por eles utilizados e as convergências e divergências entre eles; (4) avaliar quais problemas colocados pelos autores da área já foram resolvidos e quais problemas ainda precisam ser solucionados; (5) descrever como essas propostas teóricas se desenvolveram ao longo do tempo. Para isso, foram selecionados e analisados artigos ou capítulos de livros, nacionais ou estrangeiros, em que os autores apresentaram uma proposta teórico-conceitual original sobre controle instrucional ou uma reformulação teórica a respeito do tema. Foram utilizadas diferentes estratégias de localização de artigos e capítulos de livros sobre controle instrucional, como, por exemplo: (1) busca em importantes periódicos da área; (2) busca pelos nomes de importantes autores sobre o tema; (3) busca em referências bibliográficas de textos encontrados em (1) e (2); entre outros. Os documentos selecionados foram organizados e lidos na ordem cronológica. A partir da leitura, foram identificados: (1) autores do trabalho; (2) ano de publicação do trabalho; (3) termos utilizados para designar o conceito de regra; (4) função atribuída à regra; (5) topografia da regra e (6) explicação do controle instrucional (especificação dos processos comportamentais envolvidos). Cinco propostas originais foram identificadas: as de (1) Schlinger e colaboradores; (2) Hayes e colaboradores; (3) Catania e colaboradores; (4) Malott; e (5) Cerutti. A análise dos dados sugere que há pouco diálogo entre os autores da área. Atualmente não existe um consenso no que se refere à explicação de como regras governam o comportamento do ouvinte. Além da realização de pesquisas experimentais que busquem elucidar questões teóricas, o presente trabalho evidencia a necessidade de maior diálogo entre os autores da área. Tal tarefa é de grande importância, uma vez que, atualmente, é possível afirmar que a análise do comportamento não possui uma proposta consensual para explicar um dos comportamentos humanos mais frequentes: o comportamento governado por regras.
