This dissertation follows up a mapping of agricultural enterprises which keep rural tourism in the district Jindřichův Hradec. Based on data obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture (www.eagri.cz) own investigations and other sources has been compiled the list of farms carrying on rural tourism. In this thesis has also been made SWOT analysis for the development of agro-tourism in the district Jindrichuv Hradec, and four selected farms. Enterprises were chosen so that each firm focused on another form of agrotourism. The analysis of these companies derive proposals and measures to improve and increase traffic. The work also includes a questionnaire that could provide a pilot study. The customers of four selected farms answered the questions about agrotourismus.

The thesis concentrates on characteristics os Slovenian balneology and its comparison with spa tourism in the Czech Republic. It comes out of a hypothesis that balneology of both states has a similar tradition. The European spa tourism is identified as a health tourism on our continent. The thesis includes definition of basic ideas of balneology, health tourism and approaching Slovenia as a tourist destination. The second part concentrates on characteristics of Slovenian balneology, conditions of offering spa treatment and statistics of Slovenian balneology. It shortely depicts 15 Slovenian health resorts which are certified by the state. The comparison with Czech republic is based on table system. Firstly, the compared data are put for the Czech Republik, secondly there is the comparison with Slovenia.

Special attention is devoted to a new arising trend of the Dark Tourism. This trend has appeared in the end of the 20th century and it has gained the attraction of media, tourists, tourism specialists and other stakeholders. First part of the thesis is concerned with the variety of the tourism industry and the ethic question of the tourism development. The other part contains the Dark Tourism definition and the prevailing motivation for taking part in this tourism trend. Then the thesis is concerned with the Czech Republic, it's conditions and destinations for developing the Dark Tourism. Last part is devoted to research among common tourists and their attitude to the Dark Tourism.

This work focuses on tourism by motorcycle in the Czech Republic and its relation to tourism. The first part explains the basic terms, deals with history of motoring and with a current situation of tourism by motorcycle in the Czech Republic. The next part presents bikers as a segment of tourism and specifically acquaints readers with important Czech Motoclubs and their activities. The following chapters are devoted to the increase of the Motoclubs members in numbers and also to the individual branch of motorcycle sport called Touring and Leisure as well as to a very famous motorcycle World Championship Grand Prix of Czech Republic, which is located in Brno. The last chapter summarizes all the pieces of knowledge of the whole work and describes tourism by motorcycle as a part of domestic, outbound and inbound tourism.

Genius Loci and its Role in Tourism Abstract The aim of this diploma thesis is to explain the issue of genius loci, both generally and in the context of tourism. The methodology lies in the study of available literature. The interest in this theme is an appropriate response to current trends in the focus of the geography of tourism. Other objectives were defined in order to determine the position of genius loci in geographical research and its role in tourism. The diploma thesis is theoretically framed by humanistic geography (the concept of place introduction) and by the geography of tourism (the concept of sustainable development, psychological and sociological aspects of tourism). The case study demonstrates how genius loci is screened in three different types of tourism destinations - in Deštné v Orlických horách, in Litomyšl and in Potštejn - and how is perceived by local residents.
