Från trafiklärare till transportlärare

Abstract (in English) The purpose of this work is to find out what the driving instructor who currently works as a transport teachers feel about today´s driving education to transport high school to how it works at driving school. I describe in the study on how to become a transport teachers and on their everyday work. Even what others have written on this topic on driver training. I also interviewed four driving instructor who currently works as a transport teacher, about what they had for opinions on this issue. The method I have used myself of where unstructured questions to get so descriptive answers to questions as possible. 1 st How experienced driving instructor to also be assessed on a vehicle secondary functions compared to a traffic school? 2. Nd What differences do sevice teachers that it´s also be assessed on driving towards the secondary school? 3. Rd What pedagogical implications this entails for also be assessed? The result was both unexpected response. The results will tell me in detail with analysis of what has emerged. I will also discuss what could be more research on the subject.

Driving instructors education are since 2009 a comprehensive Yrkeshögskoleutbildning for three semesters of full-time study. This paper aims to shed light on what must and what can be included in a good Driving instructor education and proving a proposal for how this might look like. The goal is to create a new didactic approach to education. The result Is a “ball didactic” approach to education. The students are working under Johnson and Johnson’s method of “learning together” in problem-based cases aimed at the development-oriented skills and personal qualities that the prospective Driving instructor needs to master. The work has resulted in three study guides, one for each semester with associated rating templates and considerations for using them. Study guides describe to students what is in focus during the given period.

Körkortsutbildning efter GDE-matrisen : Hur trafiklärare uppfattar sin pedagogiska roll / Driver education under Goals for Driver Education : How traffic instructors perceive their educational role

Denna kandidatuppsats undersöker hur trafiklärare uppfattar målen med Transportstyrelsens nya kursplan (2006) och hur de undervisar för att eleven ska nå målen i kursplanen. Studien är av explorativ karaktär och därför valdes en kvalitativ ansats med empiri i form av intervjudata. Sex trafiklärare intervjuades och materialet analyserades med meningskoncentrering och kategorisering. Den teoretiska referensramen bygger på Mezirows ”transformativa vuxenundervisning”, samt forskning inom kognitiv neuropsykologi. Resultatet visar att trafiklärarna i studien övervägande är positiva till den nya kursplanen och att de försöker undervisa på ett sätt så att eleven ska nå målen och uppfylla kraven. Till exempel rapporterar samtliga lärare att de jobbar mera med självvärdering, men även med insiktshöjande pedagogiska metoder. Av resultatet framgår att trafiklärarna är mycket negativa till förarprovet som de uppfattar som en begränsande faktor i utbildningssystemet. Av den anledningen är de också pessimistiska till hur nyblivna körkortsinnehavare kommer klara sig i framtiden.
