Nowadays, companies involved in the international trade and production of goods in order to retain customers and increase market share are forced to assure excellence in the performance at all stages of their supply chains. Transportation plays critical role and can be argued to be the most crucial link in the supply chain determining its success or failure. However, regardless of such high importance, this process is very often outsourced as companies do not possess sufficient expertise and resources to deploy this function in-house. Thus, companies have to develop effective strategies and plan their procurement activities accordingly and then manage the outcome. There is not a lot of studies that would take a narrow look at the development of procurement strategy for transportation services in particular. This work is aimed to get the insight and discuss strategic, planning level and post operational evaluation of the procurement of transportation services and explore practical implication on the example of AB InBev through in-depth interviews with company employees. As an outcome this work is aimed to provide an outline of the company performance, value added or negative aspects as a result of application of previously discussed strategies.

After nineteen years of implementation of the 1988 Constitution, judicial works on the hypothesis of incidence of the Imposto sobre Circulação de Mercadorias e Prestação de Serviços (ICMS), ¨tax on the circulation of goods and services,¨ on operations of circulation of goods are abundant, however, when it comes to intermunicipal and interstate transportation, matters which are related to the constitutions of each member state in agreement with other services taxed by the cities, and the analysis of various types of transportation, including the constitutional regime of international transportation, present unclear and troublesome definitions with doctrinal problems. The methodology used comes from the historical interpretation present in the first section of the work to reveal the changes with time of the application of the constitutional and below-constitution tax laws on transportation services, and starting from the 1998 Constitution, the judicial interpretation is based upon the logical and juridical method of the constitutional norms in its syntactic and semantic aspects in accordance with the system of constitutional tax principles. The results found identify the elements of the general rule of incidence of the ICMS applied to the interstate and intermunicipal transportation services regarding the article 155, II, of the 1988 Federal Constitution, based on the conduct and delimitation of the constitutional competencies, with the identification of the types of transportation subject to taxation, non-incidence, immunity, taxpayer and non-taxpayer, time and space related aspects, possible calculation basis and possible tax rates / O objetivo do presente trabalho é apresentar o regime jurídico constitucional da obrigação tributária relativa à prestação de serviços de transporte em face da incidência do imposto de circulação de mercadorias e prestação de serviços de transporte interestadual e intermunicipal previsto no art. 155, II, da Constituição Federal de 1988. Após dezenove anos de vigência da Carta Magna de 1988, as obras jurídicas sobre o tema da hipótese de incidência do ICMS sobre as operações de circulação de mercadorias são abundantes, porém, em relação à prestação de serviços de transporte intermunicipal e interestadual, questões relativas à competência constitucional do Estado-membro em concomitância com outras prestações de serviço tributadas pelo Município e a análise dos vários tipos de transporte, inclusive, o regime jurídico constitucional do transporte internacional encampa definições jurídicas tributárias tormentosas e de poucos enfrentamentos doutrinários. A metodologia empregada parte da interpretação histórica na primeira parte do trabalho para revelar os contornos no tempo de aplicação das normas constitucionais e infraconstitucionais tributárias sobre a prestação de serviços de transporte e, a partir da vigência da Constituição de 1988, a interpretação jurídica se fundamenta na exegese lógico-jurídica das normas constitucionais em seus campos sintático e semântico, em obediência ao sistema de princípios constitucionais tributários. Os resultados obtidos dão conta de identificar os elementos da regra-matriz de incidência tributária do ICMS incidente sobre a prestação de serviços de transporte interestadual e intermunicipal no que tange ao antecedente e conseqüente do art. 155, II, da Constituição Federal de 1988, definindo-se a conduta e a delimitação das competências constitucionais; a identificação das modalidades de transportes sujeitas a tributação; não-incidência; imunidades; sujeito ativo e passivo; aspectos temporal e espacial; base de cálculo possível e alíquota

Studien bygger på vetenskaplig forskning om den pågående klimatkrisen och dess allvarliga konsekvenser. Den har sin grund i de mål som fastställts av FN:s klimatkonvention i Parisavtalet. Dessa mål syftar till att stipulera förändringsområden inom sektorer som i dagens läge har en betydande global miljöpåverkan. Frågeställningen i denna studie lyder “På vilket sätt påverkar design av gränssnitt i res- och transporttjänster användares klimatmedvetenhet i beslutsfattande kring resor?” Denna studie genomför en kartläggning genom en enkätstudie och intervjuer för att utforska hur design av gränssnitt i res- och transporttjänster påverkar användares klimatmedvetenhet i beslutsfattande kring resor. Studien utforskar de aktuella problemen med gränssnittsdesign men även hur urvalsgruppen tänker kring hållbart resande. Resultaten av denna studie syftar till att ge information om potentialen till att leda användare på rätt väg genom hållbar design av gränssnitt i res- och transporttjänster. Detta görs genom att presentera resultatet från enkätstudien och intervjuerna som diskuterar om hur hållbar design bör implementeras. Studien lyfter även fram på vilket sätt hållbar design kan introducera potentiella fördelar såsom mer information vilket kan leda till mer hållbara val. Studien utforskar även de hinder som kan stå i vägen för implementering av hållbart resande. Studiens resultat indikerar att den befintliga designen av gränssnitt i rese- och transporttjänster har påverkat respondenterna och även hindrat dem från att fatta hållbara beslut vid planering av resor. Designen av gränssnittet har haft en negativ effekt på användarnas förmåga att välja alternativ som är mer miljövänliga och hållbara. Detta betonar behovet av att förbättra designen av gränssnitten för att ge användarna enklare tillgång till och stödja deras förmåga att göra hållbara val vid resplanering. / This study is based on scientific research concerning the ongoing climate crisis and its consequences. The basis of this study lies in the goals established by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in the Paris Agreement. These goals stipulate areas of change within sectors that currently have a significant global environmental impact. The research question in this study reads "In what way does the design of interfaces in travel and transport services influence users' climate awareness in decision-making around travel?" This study conducts a survey using a questionnaire as well as interviews to explore how the design of interfaces in travel and transportation services affects users' climate awareness in travel decision-making. The study explores the current problems with interface design but also how the sample group thinks about sustainable travel. The results of this study aim to provide information on the potential to guide users on the right path through sustainable interface design in travel and transportation services. This is done by presenting the results from the survey study and the interviews that discuss how sustainable design should be implemented. The study also highlights how sustainable design can introduce potential benefits such as more information which can lead to more sustainable choices. The study also explores the obstacles that may stand in the way of implementing sustainable travel. The results of the study indicates that the existing design of interfaces in travel and transportation services has influenced the respondents and also prevented them from making sustainable decisions when planning their trips. The design of the interface has had a negative effect on users' ability to choose options that are more environmentally friendly and sustainable. This emphasizes the need to improve the design of the interfaces to provide users with easier access and support their ability to make sustainable travel planning choices.
