The following purposes were proposed for the development of this study: A. To determine whether or not rhythmic ability as measured by the Harvey Rhythm Test is developed through participation in a folk dance class. B. To determine whether or not rhythmic ability as measured by the Harvey Rhythm Test is developed through participation in a modern dance class. C. To determine whether or not rhythmic ability as measured by the Harvey Rhythm Test is developed through participation in a tap dance class. D. To compare results of the Harvey Rhythm Test at the completion of the experimental period and to indicate any differences in development of rhythmic ability in the organized classes of folk dance, modern dance, and tap dance.

Each year there is an increase in the number of art students who transfer art credits from Texas junior colleges to North Texas State University. The lack of standardization in the junior college art courses indicated an area of investigation in which some procedures might be suggested in order to secure greater continuity and unity between the art curricula of the Texas junior colleges and that of North Texas State University.

"This is a study to determine the effectiveness of the organization, administration, and implementation of the bookbindery at North Texas State University Library..."--1.

This study was concerned with salaries, wages, working conditions, and personal success of the master's degree teachers and non-teachers in industrial arts from North Texas State University. The data were obtained from an instrument sent to sixty-one master's degree teachers and twelve masters degree non-teachers. Related literature also provided information for completing the study.

This thesis is a descriptive account of the history of Negroes in Texas including how they came to reside in Texas, their population trends, and the developments they have made since 1900 in areas such as politics, education, and the work force.

It is the objective of the writer to compare the grades of the athletes and non-athletes as well as to consider factors other than intelligence to show the difference in Academic Achievement at North Texas State Teachers College between athletes and the average student.

"The primary purpose of this study was to investigate the social interaction and the social dynamics which existed in one section of the Men's quadrangle at North Texas State College, giving particular attention to the attraction and repulsion between roommates."--1.

"The following study was undertaken as an investigation to find out the nature interests of the First Grade-children of the Demonstration School, North Texas State Teachers College, Denton, Texas."--1.
