The goal of this thesis is to evaluate quality of the income based business valuations prepared by Czech valuation experts. Selected topics of standard of value, financial plan quality, and discount rate are examined on the sample of 110 valuations mostly dated in 2015. The main emphasis is put on the methodology and approach used by Czech valuation experts and their comparison to the best practice of business valuations. The opinion regarding quality of business valuations is based on the fulfilment of a specific set of criteria. At some parts results are compared to the first master thesis on similar topic from 2011. In the conclusion, recommendations how to improve the quality of business valuation in the future are presented.

This thesis is focused on analysis of expert opinions on the business valuation. Its goal is to identify the most serious mistakes in expert opinions and how to prevent them. The analysis is processed using preselected criteria. Totally twenty-two expert opinions are analyzed. The conclusion is a quantitative summary of the results of analysis of expertise, as well as pointing out the most common shortcomings and proposals for their elimination.

The objective of the thesis is a valuation of the Zentiva N.V. The valuation was worked out using the following methods: (1) the DCF entity method with application of the FCFF, (2) a financial analysis of this company, (3) the SWOT analysis, (4) a market analysis, and (5) the projected financial statements for 2009 - 2012. The assessed financial value of the company was calculated to be CZK43,566,947,000 on the date of 1.12.2008.

This diploma thesis examines evaluation of damages according to the law Nr. 221/2006. Industrial rights, whose damages are enforced according to the law Nr. 221/2006, are described. Analysis of laws and judicial decisions in relation to the enforcement of damages and analysis of the law Nr. 221/2006 are made. The thesis examines sequences, important problems and aspects in relation to each method of the evaluation of damages. At the end of the thesis a study of a hypotetical case is carried out to show basic solutions of problems with the evaluation of damages.

Diploma thesis "Valuation of selected part of assets" deals with problems with valuation of non-current tangible property and inventories by International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in comparison with Czech directives. Firstly will be described basic valuation techniques used by the IFRS and also by Czech directives. Secondly will be explained valuating models separately. Problems with valuation of non-current tangible property and inventories by IFRS and by Czech directives are discussed in last two parts. Discovered findings are compared in conclusion of that part. Diploma thesis is also covered by illustrative examples.

This diploma thesis solves valuation of particular company based on market valuation. In this thesis has been used analytical and forecasting instruments including above all financial analysis, strategic analysis, financial plan, discounted cash flow method, annual owner's cash flow multiplier method for automobile dealerships. The result of this thesis is valuation at market value.

In my thesis I am dealing with problems regarding to income methods in real estates valuation. It includes brief introduction of different types of real estates valuation methods so comparsion with them is possible. Part related to income methods is concentrated on definition and explanation of discounted cash flow and capitalization methods and differences between them. In application part I was engaged in valuation of commerce building designed for renting and I calculated it's value with three different types of income based methods of valuation.

The thesis focuses on the impacts of the crisis on the firms. In relation with the crisis there is also described Insolvency legislation and new possibility of dealing with bankruptcy which is reorganization. The thesis also contains financial analysis of selected sample of firms. It contains fundamental description of financial indicators that we should use. Further there are described some models for the valuation of efficiency of the firms. The financial analysis is applied to three companies: Kordárna, Baťa and Třinecké Železárny. Company Kordárna came to insolvency in 2009 and the thesis also includes description of the process of reorganization in this company.

The thesis estimates the intrinsic value of share of the company Iveco Czech Republic, a.s. from the position of potential investor. The valuation is done through the DCF FCFE model. Prior to the financial plan and the valuation itself, the theses provides financial and strategic analysis of the company.
