Adolescence, její volný čas a hodnotová orientace / Adolescence, its Free Time and Value Orientation

TRAJER, Tomáš January 2008 (has links)
The thesis is focused on the adolescence as a particular life period of a man. Its aim is to analyze this period in connection with free time. Moreover it tries to point out the influence of value orientation of each individual which is reflected in one{\crq}s free time. And the topic is related to the society and current period called postmodernism. It deals with the influence of consumer culture that presses on the teenagers and with manifestations of this influence. It tempts to draw the attention to the crisis of so called traditional values and the antagonism between what people believe in and what they do. Finally I am trying to point at the possibilities of the free-time pedagogy that disposes of the methods, which can efficiently reduce problematic aspects brought by current time.

The second chapter deals with a pubescence phase, its difficulties from the viewpoint of formalization of a value orientation. The third chapter is focused on internet and there are generally mentioned eventual effects resulting from its use. The fourth chapter finally summarises the foregoing chapters with the accent on formalizing a value orientation in pubescence in a relationship with internet use.

Životní postoje a hodnoty vybraných skupin adolescentů / Life attitudes and values of selected groups of adolescents

Matys, Radim January 2016 (has links)
The thesis called "Life attitudes and values of selected groups of adolescents" deals with comparison of changes through longitudinal study in chosen indicators of value orientation and actual life attitudes of adolescents, who are situated in educational institution and being at the same time students of high school preparing themselves for future career. The results are compared with the survey, which was carried out between the years 2009 - 2010. The arrangement of gained data has a character of comparative study, which evaluates an occurrence of certain aspects in respondents' hierarchy of values and maps their shift in a certain period of time. The theoretical part is concerned with attitudes and value orientation, their elements and formations; furthermore it structures a phenomenon of adolescence in general, which is compared in selected indicators with specifically selected groups, which are the subject of the survey. For a better insight into the problematic, the conclusion of the theoretical part specifies an environment of an institutional education and its basic characteristics. The issue is observed from pedagogical, psychological and anthropological point of view. These views offer treatises about possibilities and resources affecting an education in devices for juveniles, whose...

Schönduwe, Robert, Bock, Benno, Deibel, Inga 14 January 2020 (has links)
Not even four years ago, the global economic crisis seemed to toss also the automotive industry into a deep struggle. The number of distributed vehicles decreased especially in Europe and North America dramatically and the variously phrased message in media and scientific discussions was that young people lose interest in a privately owned vehicle. A status symbol and metaphor for freedom yesterday, tomorrow just a mean to an end is the often repeated assumption. Primarily in agglomerations, young people tend to be more and more pragmatic in their travel behaviour or might even show a reserved attitude towards cars. Anecdotal examples and contrary evidence for the assumption could be registered many times ever since. However, a deeper scientific debate regarding this matter is still missing. An irritating state, since an attitude change within a young target group could deliver an important impulse for the creation of a sustainable mobility system. This paper delivers the basis for a sound scientific discussion on the observed trend regarding a more pragmatic travel behaviour within younger age groups. It is the aim to point out important unaddressed research questions and to stimulate a reassessment of the current marketing strategies. Current studies are evaluated and empirical clues for changed travel behaviour of younger people are collectively displayed. The state of research for two main assumptions is reviewed. On the one hand, which impact do attitudes and values have on mobility of younger people? Maybe the importance of the car is diminishing, but are not structural constraints rather the reasons for a possible change of usage? On the other hand, how far is the individual travel behaviour influenced by childhood and coming of age? Is a “breeding toward a car society” existent or is the socialization just a minor aspect regarding mobility? The preparation of the state of research is followed by a collection of empirical clues for changed travel behaviour of young people. Five trends can be identified on the basis of German and also international studies regarding the mobility of young people: a slight decline in the ownership of driver licences, a decreased car ownership as well as a decreased car usage and a trend towards multi-modal travel patterns. Finally, the four trends can be primarily observed for young males. The studies regarded are mainly based on national travel surveys, which usually only include a limited number of indicators necessary for an assessment of cause and effect relations. Hence, possible causes were identified based on the literature research and aggregated into five theses. It is described, that biographies of younger age groups are changing. The usage of new communication technologies and its influence on mobility is mentioned. Aspects of a possible change in the value orientation are responded, too. Finally, economic and structural causes are analysed. Budget shifts and changes in the transportation system itself are examples of such causes, which may lead to a more multi-modal usage. Trends and theses are systematically assessed regarding the strength of influence.

Předávání hodnot v rodině / Transmission of values in the family

Bryknarová, Jana January 2011 (has links)
Thesis is concerned with the transmission of values and norms in the family. The goal is to quantify the level of transmission of values between children and parents. The second step is to identify what impact on transmission of value in the family has education of parents and parenting style, which apply to a child during adolescence. Underpinning the findings is the analysis of data file "Cultural and value orientations 2008", which is unique in that it includes real families (parents and their adult children). Attention is focused on the values for different levels of generality (the value frameworks, value orientations, attitudes and norms) and education in the family as a source of values. Analysis shows a high degree of agreement between parents and their children in the sphere of values. As the main variables that affect the transmission of values were identified education of parents and parenting style.

Firemní kultura vs. hodnotová orientace jejích zaměstnanců / Corporate culture vs. employees value orientation

Syrůček, Petr January 2013 (has links)
Global companies have to deal with cultural differences which may be source of misun-derstanding in the moment when company expands in to the new location and tries to introduce own organizational culture in different country. This diploma thesis tries to identify possible complications which might arise to an American company running business in the Czech milieu. At the beginning the thesis introduces main terminology and theoretical concepts related to the topic (labour market changes, globalization, culture, organizational culture etc.). The second part of the thesis is dedicated to the results of own survey made among the employees in the Czech office of an American company. Survey is based on the results of the analysis of documents about Czech and American values (mainly about values related to the work) and is trying to analyze how Czech employees accept American corporate culture. Survey tries also to confirm differences which are rising from cultural value orientation of Czech and American population.

Hodnotové orientace sportujících a nesportujících seniorů / Value orientation of sporting and non-sporting seniors

Pěkný, Martin January 2011 (has links)
Problem: The problems of values have been in the forefront of human interest since ancient philosophy. Due to the serious nature of this topic it is not a surprise that values are presently the focus of nearly all social sciences (psychology, economics, sociology, anthropology, ethnology etc.). However, value orientation in seniors still represents a relatively not very explored area. In this respect, the value orientation of seniors in relation to sport and the barriers inhibiting their participation in locomotion activities in particular is a topical issue in the light of the present-day demographical development in the developed countries. Hypothesis: We presume that we find relationships between the value orientation of a selected senior population and their degree of participation in locomotion activities, the type of locomotion activities and socio-demographic characteristics. We also presume that we find relationships between the value orientation of a selected senior population and their subjective perception of barriers limiting or inhibiting seniors' involvement in locomotion activities. Objective: The objective of a descriptive analytic research study is to identify the value orientation and barriers limiting or inhibiting sporting activity in sporting and non-sporting seniors. Method: A...
