Darbo objektas – Miškų urėdijų veiklos finansiniai ir socialiniai rezultatai. Darbo tikslas – atlikti visuomeninio intereso užtikrinimui skiriamų miškų urėdijų išlaidų ekonominę analizę. Darbo metodai – skaičiuojami pagrindiniai finansiniai rodikliai. Visi šie rodikliai skaičiuojami dviem variantais – pagal faktinius finansinius įmonių rezultatus bei atsižvelgiant į miškų urėdijų daromas išlaidas visuomeniniam interesui tenkinti. Darbo rezultatai. Vidutinis miškų urėdijų grynasis pelningumas per 2002 – 2009 metų laikotarpį, vertinant visas urėdijų pajamas ir išlaidas, siekė 5 %, veiklos pelningumas - 7 %, pelnas, tenkantis vienam darbuotojui - 4625 Lt, pelnas, tenkantis 1 ha valstybinės reikšmės miškų - 22 Lt. Atsižvelgus į miškų urėdijų išlaidas visuomeninio intereso užtikrinimui, pelningumo rodikliai padidėja ir siekia: grynasis pelningumas - 7 %, veiklos pelningumas - 8 %, pelnas, tenkantis vienam darbuotojui - 5928 Lt, pelnas, tenkantis 1 ha valstybinės reikšmės miškų - 28 Lt. / The object of this paper is the results of the financial and social activities of the forest enterprises. The purpose of this paper is to carry out the analysis of expenses to ensure the public interest. Working methods of this paper is to calculate the key financial indicators. These financial indicators are calculated according to the actual financial results and expenses to ensure the public interest. Results. After the assessment of all income and expenses it was found out that during the period 2002 – 2009 the average net profitability reached 5 per cent, the operating profit margin was 7 per cent, the profit per employee was 4625 litas and the profit per hectare in a state forest was 22 litas. Taking into account the costs of the forest enterprises to ensure the public interest the profitableness increases and the profitability ratios are as follow: Net profit margin is 7 per cent, operating profit margin is 8 per cent, profit per employee is 5928 litas, profit per hectare in a state forest is 28 litas.
