This diploma thesis assesses the financial situation of an enterprise on the basis of corporate materials. It uses financial analysis methods, which enable evaluation of individual indicators. Proposals for improvement of the company’s specific situation are made on the basis of analysis of individual indicators and sets of indicators.

In the thesis will analyze the internal and external environment, together with the financial analysis of Laufen CZ, s.r.o between 2006 and 2012. The thesis is divided into a theoretical viewpoint, which will provide the main source of information and describes various methods and instruments for external, internal and financial analysis and the analysis of the current state of society. The conclusion will summarize the results and any proposed solutions of problem areas.

This master’s thesis evaluates the financial situation of the company MITAS a. s. between the years 2007–2012 and the formulation of proposals for its improvement. At first are summarizes the theoretical knowledge of strategic and financial analysis that will be used to develop in the practical part. In the next part are captured the basic information about the company and analyzes the current status of the selected company. Analysis of the company is then used in the last part for the creation of proposals and measures to improve the current financial situation.

First part of the work explains basic theoretical principles of financial and strategic analysis that will be used to elaborate the practical part. This thesis aims to evaluate the financial situation of the company KALÁB - construction company, Ltd. and to make suggestions for its improvement. The company engages in construction and development activities. It is a renowned company that has a well established position in the market. The thesis contains an analysis of the status quo, which is the basis of proposals for improvements for the future. The aim of the thesis is to identify weaknesses and find methods that will eliminate these defects in the future.

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial situation of the company Truhlářství Roman Parolek, s. r. o. over the years 2011 to 2014. The first part describes the theoretical background used to approach the issue. There are also described the methods and ways of calculating of financial analysis. The second part of this thesis focuses on the analysis of internal and external environment of the company and the actual execution of financial analysis. According to the findings, in the conclusion there are analysed vulnerabilities of the company and suggested measures that would contribute to improving the company’s financial situation.

This master's thesis describes theory of financial planning aimed at principles and methods of financial planning, long-term and short-term financial planning and plan control. The practical part contains financial plan of Auto Enge a. s. company for 2009. This plan consists of balance sheet, income statement and cash flow. It also includes plan control during the period from January to April 2009.

In this work we will deal with financial analysis of construction company and design possible solutions for stabilization. In the theoretical part of this work we will first focus briefly on the basic issues of macroeconomics, microeconomics, economic situation, especially in construction and perceive financial analysis of company. Based on this knowledge we will analyze a specific company and will draw possible solutions enabling us to achieve a profit or at least overcome the crisis period. For financial analysis will be the part of this work used primarily horizontal and vertical analysis ratios and analysis of financial statements.

Diploma thesis deals with evaluation of the economic situation of the company TRW Volant Inc. in the years 2003 -- 2007 and assessment of its financial health by analysing the chosen economic indicators. There are shortly described the individual phases of financial analysis as a basic instrument of the economic analysis in the theoretical part and there are also explained some basic terms. The practical part is focused on further identification of the company and the branch where it operates in, and also on aplication of theoretical analyses by means of mathematic calculation and graphic comparison. For the analysis purposes I used f.e. ratio indexes from the sphere of profitability, liquidity, structure of capital, activity and capital market, value index EVA, chosen bankruptcy and financial standing models, Du Pont's pyramidal decomposition etc. One of the component parts is also comparison of the analysed company with an average of the branch.

This thesis consists of three main parts. The first one contains theoretical data for financial planning. It is focused on principles and methods of financial planning, on creation of short – term and long – term financial plan and its following control. In the second part there is implementation of evaluation of contemporary situation in chosen company and financial analysis that act as a basis for formation of financial plan. The practical part contains financial plan design of ABC, s.r.o. company.
