První pomoc při tonutí - znalost a metodika výuky žáků druhého stupně ZŠ / First aid in drowning - knowledge and methodology of teaching pupils of the second grade of elementary school

Seifertová, Klára January 2017 (has links)
Title: First aid in drowning - knowledge and methodology of teaching pupils of the second grade of elementary school Objectives: The aim of this work is to determine the theoretical knowledge of first aid for drowning man of students in the second grade of elementary schools and to create a model lesson suitable for these students. Methods: In the theoretical part of thesis was used research of literature in the first aid and water rescue. The research was conducted by interviewing, the form of survey. Analysis method (Non-numerical one-dimensional analysis) was used for sorting the information which were obtained, synthesis metod was used in their summary. Results: The knowledge of pupils at our elementary schools, picked by us, about the safety rules of water behavior is sufficient. On the other hand, knowledge of specific first aid to drowning man is insufficient. In some cases, there were answers which had more than 90% success, but in the basic questions about behaviour in specific situations, almost 2/3 respondents answered badly. Keywords: First Aid, Water Rescue, Framework Educational Program.

Design of Suction Stabilized Floats for First Responder Localization via Ultra-Wideband (UWB) and Internet of Things (IoT)

January 2020 (has links)
abstract: Suction stabilized floats have been implemented into a variety of applications such as supporting wind turbines in off-shore wind farms and for stabilizing cargo ships. This thesis proposes an alternative use for the technology in creating a system of suction stabilized floats equipped with real time location modules to help first responders establish a localized coordinate system to assist in rescues. The floats create a stabilized platform for each anchor module due to the inverse slack tank effect established by the inner water chamber. The design of the float has also been proven to be stable in most cases of amplitudes and frequencies ranging from 0 to 100 except for when the frequency ranges from 23 to 60 Hz for almost all values of the amplitude. The modules in the system form a coordinate grid based off the anchors that can track the location of a tag module within the range of the system using ultra-wideband communications. This method of location identification allows responders to use the system in GPS denied environments. The system can be accessed through an Android app with Bluetooth communications in close ranges or through internet of things (IoT) using a module as a listener, a Raspberry Pi and an internet source. The system has proven to identify the location of the tag in moderate ranges with an approximate accuracy of the tag location being 15 cm. / Dissertation/Thesis / Masters Thesis Engineering 2020

Hodnocení počtu utonulých v České republice letech 1994 - 2010 / Evaluation of the number drowened people in the Czech Republic in the years 1994 - 2010

Bidelnica, Petr January 2012 (has links)
Title: Evaluation of the number drowned people in the Czech Republic in the years 1994-2010 Aim of the thesis: Evaluate the number of drowning people in the Czech republic. Methods: Searches of available sources. Collecting data from the Czech Statistical office, media, information portals. Results: All the processed data was given in the context of the current causes of drowning people in natural waters, which can not be assessed to the short time generalize. In the month of July was a positive correlation between the number of the people drowned and the temperature. Results of this work can not be compared with foreign countries and assume that the results will be the same. Keywords: Drowning, International Classificasion of Diseases, Water Rescue Service, the casuse of drowning.

Title: Evaluation of the number drowned people in the Czech Republic in the years 1994-2010 Aim of the thesis: Evaluate the number of drowning people in the Czech republic. Methods: Searches of available sources. Collecting data from the Czech Statistical office, media, information portals. Results: All processed data were given in the current context causes drowning in the Czech Republic. In this work it was found that the actual risk of drowning increases with age and is about 2,5 times higher in men than in women. There have also been some laws on the number of drowning in natural water, which can not be assessed due to the short time generalize. The month of July has been demonstrated in the period of dependence on temperature drowned Celsius. Results of this work can not be compared with other countries and assume that the results will be the same. Trénink a příprava plavců vodní záchranné služby / Training and preparation of swimmers Water Rescue

Marešová, Anna January 2018 (has links)
This thesis looks into a preparation and training of lifeguards during one year training cycle. The objective of this thesis is monitoring (tracking) changes of functional indicators (heart rate) over the period of one year training for lifeguards. My thesis is divided into several parts. Theoretical part is mapping history of lifeguarding and origins of Lifesaving sport. It is focused on disciplines of this sport, specifics of the training and selected functional indicators. The practical part is divided on survey and reflexion (result) part. The survey is recording changes of heart rate in selected phases of a year training cycle. The reflection part is processing results. During a practical part have been used methods of observation, questioning, testing, statistics- collecting and analysing data. KEYWORDS  Lifeguard service  Swimming  Lifesaving sport  Year training cycle  heart rate  sport tester

Návrh a ověření programu školení jednotek požární ochrany při záchraně osob na vodních plochách / The proposal and verification of a water rescue training program for fire brigade units

KOCINOVÁ, Monika January 2011 (has links)
The thesis, which is divided into a practical and a theoretical part, examines the level of knowledge among the members of the Fire Brigade of the South Bohemia region. The theoretical part characterizes the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic, its mission and tasks, its position within the Integrated Emergency System. The theoretical part deals with the issues of stagnant, flowing and frozen water hydrology, physiology related to staying in cold water and the possibilities to use rescue and protective aids. I also present a list of dangerous situations rescuers are exposed to when rescuing on water surfaces. Results of a questionnaire research are processed and evaluated in the practical part. The questionnaire deals with the issues of stagnant, flowing and frozen water hydrology, the basic theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills of the members of the South Bohemian Fire Brigade. The most important findings resulting from the performed research are summarized in the conclusion of the work. I evaluate the aims and hypotheses set at the beginning and propose a possible solution of the problems in question.

Hodnocení počtu utonulých v České republice v letech 1998-2018 / Evaluation of the number drowned people in the Czech Republic in the years 1998-2018

Kašpar, Adam January 2021 (has links)
Title: Evaluation of the number drowned people in the Czech Republic in the years 1998-2018 Objective: Evaluation of the number of drowned people in the Czech Republic, depending on age, sex and cause of drowning in the years 1998-2018. Methods: Search of available resources. Collecting data from the Czech Statistical Office and information portals. Results: The group 50-64 years of age in the terms of drowning is the most risky age group. The age group 10-14 years is the least risky. The ratio of all drowned men and women is 2,7:1. The most common cause of drowning is unspecified drowning. In many cases, it is not possible to determine the cause of the drowning. Analýza činnosti vodních záchranných služeb v Evropě a srovnání s Vodní záchrannou službou Českého červeného kříže jako složky integrovaného záchranného systému České republiky. / Activity Analysis of Water Rescue Services in Europe Compared with the Water Rescue Service of the Czech Red Cross as a Component of the Integrated Rescue System of the Czech Republic.

PROCHÁSKA, Pavel January 2011 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is to describe the role of the Water Rescue Service of the Czech Red Cross as a component of the Integrated Rescue System, and also to analyze and compare its activities with activities, skills and the material-technical equipment with other three randomly selected Water Rescue Services in Europe (Slovak Red Cross - Water Rescue Service, Irish Water Safety, The Royal Life Saving Society UK). One of the major benefits of the diploma thesis was a proposal how to improve the activities of the Water Rescue Service of the Czech Red Cross.
