This thesis is focused on water tourism in the Czech Republic. The aim of this study is to evaluate the possibilities and conditions for the development of water tourism in the Czech Republic. There were conducted analyses of water tours, water tourism development opportunities, own research, which focuses on the behavior of water tourism in the Czech Republic.Water tourism in the Czech Republic lags behind its potential and has potential for the future development.

The Merkys river pool is one of the best suitable places for environment, great cultural heritage and dietary peculiarities of the rivers. The Merkys and its affluents – the Visinčia, the Grūda, the Šalčia, the Ūla, the Varėnė are some of the most beautiful and cleanest rivers in Lithuania. Picturesque country – side pineries, steep slopes, banks, deep pools, sandy coastlines and many well – equipped camping places make the Merkys attractive for tourists. This work covers a detailed gydrological anglysis of the Merkys river pool, provides segments of privers suitable for water tourism, describes prominent sightseeing places. The Merkys river pool is in the southeast of Lithuania. The Merkys river system includes 810 rivers and serams of different sizes whose total lenght is 2413km. There are 175 lakes of different size, occupying 39,7km2. Their bigger part is in the Dzūkija Eminence. Privers and pouds make up the base of hydrographic net in the other part of the Merkys river pool. Woodlands take up about 50% of the territory: 4 natural reserves, the national park of Dzūkija and 28 reservations of different purposes. In the Czech Republic the number of people interested in touring by water is continually increasing. That{\crq}s why the main object of this dissertation is to present both the benefits and the disadvantages of the river Ohře. We also want to match the Ohře with the Vltava, our most frequented river. There are three different possibilities how to navigate. They depend of physical ability and technical outfit and it can take three, five or seven days. Each option is specific for certain group of watermen to suit by its character and appeal everybody who is interested in it.

The theory part of the thesis discusses internet marketing, its development and specifics. In addition, it discusses individual tools of internet marketing and measuring of their efficiency. The practical part focuses on using internet marketing in tourism, using as a case study Hastrman Boat Rental. Marketing activities of the rental place and of its competitors are analysed. On the basis of the theory findings acquired and the analysis made, a marketing strategy is proposed for the selected company.

The goal of this thesis is to analyse current situation of ecological safe forms of tourism in Tachov region. In first part there is created roster of this forms of tourism in Tachov region. Based off the questionnaire is made an inquiry about satisfaction of tourist or local inhabitants with current offer of ecotourism in this destination, specifically it is about hiking, cyklotourism, in-line skating, cross country skiing, water tourism a rural tourism. In the end of the work is evaluated this inquiry and afterwards there are suggested alternatives to make Tachov region as destination of ecotourism more attractive.

An object of leisure-time center and a new bridge were designed according to needs and limits of this location, that they correspond to. This project follows up on the previous analysis and the riverfront design in the section between the main bridge and the Zborovsky bridge in Kroměříž. The general target of this project is an active integrating the river and its closest neighborhood to the city environment. This target is supported by the study in this project. The leisure-time center design creates a social background and a center of this area and it would became an important point in Kroměříž, where people could relocate on the river, by bike or on foot from. The new bridge design examines possible solutions of a new bridge over the river in Kroměříž, that is missing here.
