Examensarbete ”hur ser säkerheten ut” valdes på ett eget initiativ då jag upplever att det finns ett stort behov av att engagera verksamheter att lära sig mer om hur information och nätverk ska hanteras på ett säkerhet sätt. Genom en kvantitetundersökning bland verksamheter kunde en kartläggning göras av hur verksamheterna hanterar sin information och nätverksmiljö. Med hjälp av undersökningen resultat och faktainsamling kunde fakta om säkerhet tas fram till verksamheterna. För att presentera informationen på bästa sätt skapades en webbapplikation. Arbete med webbapplikationen innebar att en server sattes upp som en back-front och serverar HTML, CSS och Python kod för att kunna generera unika data till användarna. I slutet av projektet fick tredjeparts program analysera webbapplikationen samt en testgrupp utvärdera informationen och ett underlag för vidare utveckling av webbapplikation tas fram. / The thesis ”how does the security look like” was chosen on my own initiative, becasue there is a great need to engeage small bussnies in leraning more about how information and networks should handle safely. Through a quantitative survey among small businsses a survey could be made of how small businsses handle their information and network environment. Using the results of the survey and the collection of facts, customer facts about how security should look like can be created för small businesses. To present facts in the best way, a web application was created. Working with the web application meant that a server was installed. As well as a website with HTML and CSS code. Scripts were created to generate unique data for the user (small businesses) At the end of the project, third party programs were able to analyze the web application and a test group evaluate the information and web application to provide a basis for further development.

In this diploma thesis, I conduct a research into approaches to consolidating data base and source code base of the Techno.cz webserver, which is the subject of the consolidation. By consolidation I mean bringing the server into the state where documentation is produced according to given requirements, data base is changed in order to improve data structure and consistency and source code base is reorganised in order to unify source code upon one platform, improve file system organization and remove problematic characteristics of the source code in general. The goals of this thesis are to create and describe general process of consolidation, sequence and contents of its steps; to describe contents of consolidation in given areas: documentation, data base and source code base; to describe actual steps made to achieve the final state of the server. My approach to accomplishing these goals is the study of relevant literature and usage of my practical experience in the field of web development. My contribution to the topic is the creation of the general consolidation process that has a potential to be reused by similar projects. Another contribution may be the description of handling the risks and problems that emerged during the consolidation process. This topic may find itself as a valuable source of knowledge for fellow developers facing similar issues. The thesis is divided into eight chapters. After the introduction chapter 2 follows. Chapter 2 describes parameters of the Techno.cz webserver. Chapter 3 discusses software engineering methodologies in order to create suitable consolidation process. Chapter 4, 5, 6 discuss particular fields of consolidation: documentation, data base and source code. In chapter 7 I am trying to assess suitability of created processes and approaches for usage in future development. In the conclusion I summarize the thesis according to required structure.

Este trabalho propõe políticas para servidores Web baseados em sessões, visando ao oferecimento de garantias de qualidade de serviço (Quality of Service - QoS) a seus usuários. Para o fornecimento de QoS, dois tipos de políticas são consideradas: as responsáveis pela diferenciação de serviços e as responsáveis pelo controle de admissão. Alguns algoritmos de escalonamento foram desenvolvidos com o objetivo de oferecer melhores serviços para as sessões prioritárias: o algoritmo de escalonamento baseado em sessão (SBSA) e o algoritmo de escalonamento baseado em sessão com diferenciação de serviços (SBSA-DS). Quanto ao controle de admissão, foram consideradas duas novas políticas, as quais utilizam diferentes parâmetros para a tomada de decisão e têm como objetivo garantir a finalização do maior número de sessões prioritárias. A partir dos resultados obtidos nos experimentos realizados por meio de simulação, constatou-se que o emprego dos algoritmos e das políticas desenvolvidos melhora o atendimento das sessões para as quais deve ser oferecido um serviço preferencial. Portanto, em servidores Web preocupados com a garantia de QoS para seus usuários, os quais interagem com o sistema por meio de sessões, o uso dessas novas técnicas se mostra adequado / This work considers policies for Web servers based on sessions, aiming at the guarantees of Quality of Service (QoS) to the systems users. Two types of policies are considered: the responsible for the differentiation of services and the responsible for the admission control. Some scheduling algorithms had been developed to offer better services for the priority sessions: the Session Based Scheduling Algorithm (SBSA) and the Session Based Scheduling Algorithm with Differentiation of Services (SBSA-DS). In relation to the admission control, two new policies had been considered, which use different parameters to help the decisions and have as objective guarantee the finalization of as many priority sessions as possible. From the obtained results of the experiments realized by mean of simulation, it is evidenced that the use of the developed algorithms and policies improves the attendance of the sessions that deserve preferential service. Therefore, in Web servers worried in the guarantee the QoS for their users, which interact with the system by sessions, the use of these new techniques reveals adequate

Esta dissertação de mestrado apresenta o projeto, implementação e teste de um gerador de carga de trabalho para servidores Web que permite a caracterização de sessões e que representa uma carga real. O gerador desenvolvido gera carga visando à alimentar programas que simulam o comportamento de servidores Web. Para a definição dos parâmetros utilizados no gerador de carga sintética desenvolvido, diversos estudos sobre a carga em servidores Web encontrados na literatura, logs de servidores Web reais e benchmarks para servidores Web, foram utilizados. Vários algoritmos de controle de admissão e de escalonamento de requisições descritos na literatura foram implementados para teste e validação do gerador desenvolvido. Visando a utilização de sessões, é proposto nesta dissertação um algoritmo de controle de admissão, RED-SB (Random Early Detection - Session Based) que se baseia em um algoritmo (RED) que não considera sessão. Esses algoritmos foram executados utilizando-se um modelo de simulação de servidor Web com suporte a diferenciação de serviços, chamado SWDS (Servidor Web com Diferenciação de Serviços) / This MSc dissertation presents the design, implementation and tests of a workload generator for Web servers that allows the characterization of sessions and represents a real workload. The generator developed generates a workload to be used as an input to programs that simulate the behavior of Web servers. For the definition of the parameters used in the synthetic workload generator developed, several studies about the web server load described in the literature, actual web server logs and benchmarks for Web servers were used. Several algorithms for admission control and scheduling of requests described in the literature were implemented for testing and validation of the generator developed. Aiming at the utilization of sessions, this dissertation proposes an admission control algorithm RED-SB (Random Early Detection - Session based) which is based on an algorithm (RED) that does not consider session. These algorithms were implemented using a simulation model ofWeb server that supports service differentiation, called SWDS (Web Server with Service Differentiation)

The subject of this diploma thesis, is the Internet of Things, and its use in applied practice, with a subsequent design of a custom system of smart home automatization. It acquaints the reader with the issues of automated home and smart systems, including a basic familiarization of regulations as declared by law about electronic devices. The attributes of miniature computer platforms, developmental boards, and wireless modules for the design of custom systems are analyzed and compared. The biggest part of the thesis is dedicated to a design of a custom system, specifically designing the central processing module and other controlling modules for controlling various electric home appliances. The main controlling unit of the system is a Raspberry Pi 2B unit, with which it is possible to control a device in a household through an user-friendly web application.

This work deals with the collection of data from analog sensors, their storage and display using the Raspberry Pi microcomputer. In more detail it deals with selecting the appropriate analog-to-digital converter, selecting the appropriate storage and database server, web server and application to display the measured data.

Bezpečnost a zachování důvěrnosti dat uložených s využitím veřejných cloudových služeb je dnes velmi aktuální téma. V této práci se, na rozdíl od tradičního šifrování, zabýváme možností využití dělení dat k zabezpečení citlivých dat. Cílem práce je implementovat a porovnat dva již publikované protokoly pro násobení matic využívající dva rozdílné přístupy dělení dat. Na základě jejich vlastností byla navržena originální varianta, která na rozdíl od původních protokolů zohledňuje i případ, kdy poskytovatelé cloudových slu- žeb tajně spolupracují. Všechny tyto protokoly byly naimplementovány za použití plat- formy Java a veřejných cloudových služeb. Na závěr byla změřena výkonnostní náročnost a zhodnoceny požadavky na úložiště.

Diploma thesis is dealing with design and implementation of the web server and manage- ment website in the developing kit FriendlyARM Mini6410 with installed OS GNU/Linux. The embedded packaging system PTXdist is described in terms of Kernel configuration and selection of suitable applications. The device should be later used for the remote management of atmospheric optical link.

In this thesis is proposed implementation of weather station with web server built on hardware platform with microcontroller STM32f417 and ethernet interface.

The work is solving the design and implementation of application for presentation measured data and control of A2000 device trought web interface. For connecting to internet is used a module LanReach by company Connectone. Measured values are displayed on the website or send via e-mail messages and saved on FTP server.
