Internet är ett mycket kraftfullt media för marknadsföring och säljstöd. Genom modern teknologi kan man skaffa sig viktig information om webbsidans besökare och vad dessa finner bra och mindre bra på webbsidan. Ett korrekt nyttjande av informationen ger en bra grund till långsiktiga kundrelationer och målgruppsanpassning, allt enligt relationsmarknadsföringens principer.Syftet med arbetet har varit att utreda vad som gör en webbsida effektiv ur ett marknadsförings- och säljstödsperspektiv och att också skapa en sådan webbsida för Flexibla Kontor i Säter. Detta har utförts genom en nulägesanalys tillsammans med en konsult, studier av litteratur, intervjuer med säljare på Flexibla Kontor samt en fasindelning av arbetet.Flexibla kontor har mycket goda förutsättningar för att effektivt kunna använda en sådan webbsida. Man bör jobba för att ta fram optimala texter till webbsidan och utreda vilka besökare sidan har och vad dessa gör under sitt besök.

<p>The purpose of this thesis is to describe the work process and the results of our work with developing a web based auction system for students at Linköpings University. The present options open for students to sell objects within the University is limited to a billboard that doesn’t support bidding. Because of that a system was developed to offer an environment where they could present there objects and let demand set the final price level. A new function in this process is the option of alternate ways to end an auction with the intention of eliminating some of the problems that exists within the currently available web based auction systems with last second biding.</p>

The aim of this paper is to examine how Tanums kommuns website's global navigation menu, local menu and search engine can get better and how to improve them. I have chosen to use usability testing, surveys and research about similar products in order to find out how this can be done. I have found that the website has problems with not getting results when searching in a specific way. I have also found, among other things, that users don't find it logical to find certain information at some places and also that the labeling of certain elements in the menu needs improvement. A few of my suggestions were to help the user by suggesting different ways to search, that there is a way to filter the search, that the labeling of the menu elements were looked through and that information were put where users finds it logical. I also suggested that a bigger usability test could be carried out before or after some changes to the website was done.

The current state of our web is one where users can create and distribute information freely and without constraining limitations of knowledge. It’s as easy as making a Facebook status update or sending out a Tweet to make contributions to the web and we’re all doing it. Web-Giants like Facebook and Google deinate the web because they have such massive user amounts and therfore they control the information their users see. This is a problem because we’re hidden from the entire information amount that is the web in the 21st century. Today we limit ourself unknowingly by using these sites who implements a personalization approach which tries to show us the information it thinks we want to see. The next generation of the web seeks to open up the web to computers that makes it easier for them to understand and analyse the information on the web. Then they can help us by giving more relevant answers to the questions we ask them and show us what we actually want to see. This papers focus is in how these questions affect the daily life of the digital natives 2.0. What is their views on a web-based life now and in the future. We then go on to use these islands of information to render forth a list of demands one should be able to ask of a web-application in the future we know as Web 3.0.
