Our research is an exploratory study on how various parameters in the attack, ranging from that of the worm (replication rate), to those of the network (number of nodes, % fire-walled computers) as well as user behaviour (frequency of checking mail) impact the spread of malware. Through the development of a simulator we have created various experiments and have studied the impact of all possible parameters

The diploma thesis „Mechanisms modelling of multi access into mobile wireless network“ is focusing the wireless network. The diploma thesis contains basic network topology of wireless standard 802.11g and utilizes key identificators of mobile node in dependency on the distance and collision controlling function for simulation purposes. In the next part of this thesis is created LTE mobile network topology, which serves for finding key identificators. In the last part is created offload topology containing both - 802.11g and LTE network. As the result are implemented offloading algorithms, which ensure data traffic switching based on comparing 802.11g and LTE key identificators. Automatically generated and shown figures providing the key statistics are the main output of this thesis.

With the development of Wi-Fi networks, Wi-Fi connection become a very important part of people‟s life, it seems that Wi-Fi networks are everywhere, especially in China. However, Wi-Fi networks not only bring convenience to users, but also bring some security threats. Nowadays, Wi-Fi security problems become increasingly acute. This thesis investigates the differences between male and female users regarding Wi-Fi network security. By distributing a questionnaire in China, specific questions have been asked about key factors within the area of Wi-Fi security. The questions focus on the usage situation, information security awareness and the knowledge level in Wi-Fi related fields. The found result is: Wi-Fi security issues are more prominent for female users than for male users.
