  • The Global ETD Search service is a free service for researchers to find electronic theses and dissertations. This service is provided by the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations.
Our metadata is collected from universities around the world. If you manage a university/consortium/country archive and want to be added, details can be found on the NDLTD website.

Design and Implementation of the Security Mechanism for Electronic Documents

Lin, Yi-Cheng 10 September 2007 (has links)
Information security has been becoming important. Not only play an important role in electronic commerce, but it is essential for communication of information at work or basic data transmission. It has been developed nearly ten years since the W3C announced the standard for XML which make up for HTML defects on data process. And cross-platform property is why it become the file layout standard that is used by variety platform of network to storage and exchange data. Furthermore, the W3C propose the XML Digital Signature and XML Encryption to enhance the security of XML. This study shows how to transform the traditional word format into XML format and apply it to network. Now, we implement a security transmission system of electronic documents from Java in support of Cryptography security and XML. Besides, we also adopt the typing biometrics features as identity authentication mechanisms to increase our system's reliability.

Schematron Schema Inference / Schematron Schema Inference

Kozák, Michal January 2012 (has links)
XML is a popular language for data exchange. However, many XML documents do not have their schema or their schema is outdated. This thesis continues on the field of automatic schema inferring for set of XML documents and focuses on Schematron schema inferring. Schematron is a language that validates XML documents with rules, it does not compare the document against a grammar like DTD, and XML Schema does. Because the field of Schematron schema generation is not so much explored, this thesis analyzes basic problems, suggests several approaches and describes their advantages and disadvantages.

Advanced Interface for XML Data / Advanced Interface for XML Data

Korchňák, Jiří January 2012 (has links)
Currently there are several interfaces for XML data, such as DOM, SAX, JAXP, StaX, .NET XML support etc. However, each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. This work analyses the existing XML APIs and identifies their pros and cons from various points of view. On the basis of the results a new DOM API for large XML data is proposed and is provided its prototype implementation. New API uses splitting method for input XML document to smaller ones and querying performs on these smaller XML documents. Finally, using a set of experiments the newly proposed API is compared with the existing ones.

MARC2XML

Hornbaker, William 07 1900 (has links)
This version of the MARC2XML program is a JavaScript form that can be freely downloaded for personal use in any JavaScript enabled web browser. In the top textarea of the form, you may place a single MARC21 record. This record will be automatically translated to the MARC XML format. The XML contains a standard stylesheet reference for the "MARC21slim2HTML.xsl" file. You may omit this line, or the xsl file can be downloaded separately from http://www.loc.gov/standards/marcxml/xslt/MARC21slim2HTML.xsl.
