This thesis examines the religious development in young children engaged in school children{\crq}s messrom activities. The theoretical part describes school children{\crq}s messrom activities at free play time, characterizes guidelines of activities in school children{\crq}s messrom programs, and explores difficulties in value development from physiological, pedagogical anthropology and axiology, philosophy and religious ethics. This thesis also analyzes children of younger school age and studies normal childhood development and phases of development relating to human religiosity. It also includes the issues surrounding today{\crq}s education system relating to religion. The practical part of this thesis is based upon survey research conducted in two elementary schools. The survey subject was directed relating to the meaning of Christian holidays such as Easter and Christmas, preternatural phenomena and the perplexity surrounding death. It emerged from this survey research that the majority of young children are unaware of the meaning of Christian holidays such as Easter or Christmas, that they are interested in preternatural phenomena, and think intensively about death. Three weeks of learning guidelines are presented within this thesis. These guidelines are based on the survey study and cover the religious meanings of Christian holidays, specifically Christmas and Easter, and perplexity surrounding death.

The diploma thesis is focused on monitoring the influence of methods and techniques of drama education with the use of specific thematic books by the writer and painter Daisy Mrázková on the formation of a positive climate of the first class of primary school. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part presents professional terminology in the field of school climate, approaches, methods and tools for its measurement. It also acquaints readers with a professional view of the characteristics of younger school age pupils, who are the main subjects of the implementation of the practical part of the work, and with professional concepts related to drama education. At the same time, it briefly introduces the person of Daisy Mrázková and the key topics of her children's books, which are closely connected with the observed elements of the school classroom climate. In my own introduction to the practical part, I set a goal and related research questions. The diploma thesis deals with the adaptation 1st class primary school pupils, to the school environment in social area. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the process of adaptation pupil to the school environment, it explains the concept of socialization, analyzing school maturity, the readiness and the terms of school education. The practical part is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. The method of questionnaire, interview and observation provides the identified data to deal with the issue of adaptation pupil at the 1st class primary school in the social field and analyzes the attitude of parents and first class teachers to the adaptation pupils to the school environment in the social sphere. The aim of the diploma thesis is analyzing the opinion to that issue by parents and first class primary school teachers.

The dissertation thesis presents the results of a research project which focused on the application of mediated learning experience theory to teaching with respect to cognitive development of pupils. The first chapter introduces cognitive education, which concentrates on the process of learning. It also compares this approach with traditional methods aimed at the content of learning. The following parts of the thesis deal with selected theories postulated by Reuven Feuerstein which are important for understanding the context in which his other theory was developed: the theory of mediated learning experience. This theory is the central theme of the theoretical part of the thesis. Apart from its definition and parameters, the thesis presents specific recommendations for teachers about how to develop cognitive functions of their pupils by applying this theory directly in class. Afterwards, attention is paid to Feuerstein's well-known worldwide intervention program called The Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment. This program is used in the Czech school system, too. This diploma thesis focuses on Global Development Education (GDE) and its position in education at primary school. The main aims of this work are to find out why it is important to integrate global development issues in education, what are primary school kids preconditions for working with global issues and how can teachers integrate global issues to education. The theoretical part of the thesis begins with definition of GDE, then it is devoted its specifics in primary school education, its place in curricular documents and how it is integrated into education. In empiric part, GDE is investigated by questionnaire survey and interviews if the topics of GDE are incorporated into education, how often and what is the reason for this integration.
