The aim of this work is to introduce with the technology necessary to build Internet application, which will be partially generated by the code generator. These technologies are primarily PHP framework with MVC architecture, XML and MySQL database system. The goal is not only introduce with the technology but also the preparation of the generator.

I den här rapporten skapas en applikation med Zend Framework för att undersöka ramverket närmare. Zend Framework är ett av de största php-ramverken från grundarna av PHP. Rapporten är tänkt att hjälpa företag och privatpersoner, som tänker ta steget till Zend Framework, genom att skapa en introduktion till ramverket. Efter att ha läst rapporten kan förhoppningsvis beslut lättare fattas om företaget har tillräckligt med kompetens eller behov av att använda Zend Framework.

The subject of this project is to develop an information system for recording study achievements of primary and secondary school students with an online access for their parents. In the first part, the author focuses on a survey of current supply of similar applications already on the market and their properties, with a priority look at the way how they are provided. In the second part the author drafts and develops a new and simple information system, which can compete with other rough applications. Emphasis is given to the simplicity of the application as well as its usage. This application is designed to be provided as 'Software as a service' and therefore is easy to employ.

The diploma thesis compares first and second version of the PHP framework Zend Framework. It examines framework architecture and technology changes that were brought about by its second version released stable in September 2012. It demonstrates the changes using a practical example application and evaluates them by a set of diverse criteria. The introductory part of the thesis characterizes and classifies web frameworks and determines their place among other software frameworks. In the subsequent part the thesis looks into fundamental characteristics and history of Zend Framework and puts it into its place among web frameworks based on their previous classification. The practical part, that represents the majority of thesis, demonstrates the differences between the first and the second version of Zend Framework using the example application, starting with framework installation and configuration, describing its architecture and ending with evaluation of its speed and security.

<p>Den här rapporten avhandlar framtagandet av en prototyp för en tjänst där abonnenter hos telekomoperatörer ska kunna beställa och konfigurera sina egna tjänster i betydligt större utsträckning än vad som är möjligt idag.</p><p>Detta är möjligt och önskvärt tack vare att det pågår kontinuerlig modernisering av den teknik som idag används i telefonnät och telefonsystem.</p><p>Projektet genomfördes på uppdrag av Tieto i Kalmar som är ett konsultföretag som arbetar mycket med telekomteknik och som har flera stora kunder som arbetar med modernisering av sin teknik.</p><p>Resultatet har blivit en prototyp där användaren på ett flexibelt sätt kan skapa, redigera och radera sina egna tjänster, samt få en grafisk överblick över sina inställningar.</p><p>Prototypen är också enkel för uppdragsgivaren att anpassa för demonstration för olika kunder. Den är dessutom anpassad så att det ska gå så enkelt som möjligt att utveckla den vidare med nya komponenter.</p><p>Från början ingick en student från Rehabiliteringsprogrammet i projektet. Tanken var att kunna genomföra olika typer av användbarhetsanalyser och på så sätt göra prototypen så användarvänlig som möjligt. Då studenten av personliga skäl inte fullföljde projektet redovisas dessa delar av projektet inte i den här rapporten.</p> / <p>This thesis treats the development of a prototype for a service where telecom customers can order and configure their own services to a much higher degree than what is possible today.</p><p>This is possible and desireble due to a continuing modernisation of the technology beeing used in the telecom systems today.</p><p>The project was coducted on the request of Tieto, Kalmar. Tieto is a consulting company that is highly involved in the telecom industry and has several customers that are working with modernisation their technology.</p><p>The result is a prototype called: ”Effect: a prototype for an Easy to use, Flexible, Figurative, Extenable Configuration Tool”. It´s a web application where the users in a flexible way can order, configure and delete their own services, and also get an graphical overview of their settings.</p><p>The prototype is easy for Tieto to adjust when showing it to different customers. It is also adapted in a way that it is easy to extend it with new components.</p><p>In the beginning the project included a student från the Interaction design program. The idea was to conduct a series of usability analysis and with the help of that being able to make the prototype as user friendly as possible. Since the student, for personal reasons, did not finnish the projet, this report will not present anything on that part.</p>

The thesis deals with function and structure of web applications, describes the individual technologies used in these applications. It also explains how to create for the purpose of high efficiency and easy development. The main part presents technologies to speed up the applications, explain their settings and properties. Finally, the technologies are thoroughly tested, evaluated benefits of use and recommended the application for future development.

The work focuses on the design, development and implementation of a web entertainment portal. The main objective of this work is to create an application that will meet the required functionality using appropriate technologies. Defining the desired functionality as well as the selection of appropriate technology is part of corresponding chapters. As the selected and then used technology was chosen server-side programming language PHP in conjunction with the MySQL database system. The application is a web portal based on Zend framework application that is practical implementation of the MVC architecture. As the client-side programming language was chosen JavaScript, together with a freely available library jQuery that simplifies and streamlines work with the language. The thesis then describes the design data model, which forms the basis for future application. The following chapter describes the structure of each system and relations between them. The conclusion is devoted to consideration of whether the fulfillment of the objectives, benefits and work output.

Subject of this thesis is creation of a Web application aiming to offer an alternative to desktop and mobile applications testing possibilities. In the theoretical part we acquire a basic overview of the principles of software testing and its possible use in crowdsourcing test projects. In the practical part the functionality of the web application and its data structure is designed. On the basis of the created design and gained knowledge of software testing the application is then implemented.

Along with the popularization of the SMS (Short Message Service) as a communication tool among big companies, such as flight and train companies, post offices and banks, a new branch started to take place in the mobile communication industry: bulk-SMS business. The companies send the SMS to their costumers through an aggregator, which in turn send the SMS further to the customers’ mobile phone. The aggregator consequently needs to monitor the SMS traffic constantly so they can assure good quality of their services. In case of an interruption in the system, their support group needs to be notified directly, so the problem can be fixed straightaway. The aim of this project was to develop an application integrated to the intranet of a company that works in the business of bulk-SMS (CLX Networks), in order to replace the current monitoring system, called OpenNMS. The system was developed using Zend Framework (PHP) and MySQL database.The project resulted in an application that allows the administrator to configure alarms and notifications and to add clients and suppliers accounts to the monitoring system. Whereas the interaction between the user administrator and the system is already implemented, the connection between the system and the CDR- and RR-database is still under development.
