The master thesis focuses on defining a new business model of a selected company operating in the field of information systems development and web applications. Based on theoretical knowledge, the thesis analyzes the strategic position of the company and then proposes a new business model. The final part contains an evaluation of the defined variants of development and risk assessment.

This master’s thesis deals with problems of risk management connected to the marketing activities of Innovatrics s.r.o. The thesis contains three main parts. First part includes theoretical basics, second part is consisted of information about company, marketing activities inside the company and risks, which are connected with activities. Final part of the thesis dedicates to suggestions for risk minimization.

The aim of this work is to design and create a robust speech activity detector that is able to detect speech in different languages, in a noise environment and with music on background. I decided to solve this problem by using a neural network as a classification model that assigns one of the four possible classes - silence, speech, music, or noise to the input of audio recording. The resulting tool is able to detect the speech in at least 12 languages. Speech with musical background up to 88 % accuracy and system success on noisy data reaches from 84 % (5 dB SNR) to 88 % (20 dB SNR). This tool can be used for speech activity detection in various research areas of speech processing. The main contribution is the elimination of music, which when not eliminated, significantly increases the error rate of systems for speaker identification or speech recognition.

This diploma thesis deals with the creation of a business plan for the establishment of a business, that will operate a website through which will sell as an intermediary unusual leisure activities and experiences. The first part defines the theoretical concepts to create a business plan. The second part is devoted to the analysis of the current state. Based on the knowledge of the theoretical part and the results of the analytical part is business plan created in the proposal part.

This diploma thesis is the elaboration of business plan which should be the basis for establishing a new company which is providing services in the field of entertainment and leisure activities. Specifically the operation of the so-colled laser game arena. This thesis consist of several parts. The first part provides the teoretical background and necessary knowledge used to create a business plan. The analytical analyzes the market in the Czech Republic with a focus on the provision of services in the field of leisure activities, specifying the surrounding market of the intended establishment. The financial plan, marketing plan and ather plans are making based on the performer analyzes as a basis for executives of the company as well as marketers and others.

This thesis has been prepared for DIAMO, Branch GEAM Dolní Rožínka. Literature research includes a description of the ionizing radiation, natural radionuclides, mining of uranium ore and mineral deposits; Běstvina and Licoměřice. The experimental part includes sampling, analysis and evaluation of the content of selected radionuclides in the two selected locations. The content of uranium and radium in sludge from mine water treatment plant is determined annually by an external laboratory, using of semiconductor gamma-spectrometric analysis (GSA). Determination of both radionuclides in waters in these areas is carried out in the Centre of testing laboratories (SZLAB) in Dolní Rožínka. Uranium and radium activity is below the detection limit. Sludges from Běstvina, according to the results of external laboratories, routinely show activity of both radionuclides. But activity in the waters from this locality is below the detection limit. The goal of this diploma thesis is to verify the radionuclide content in sludge from CDV Běstvina by another method. As a comparative method was chosen determination of uranium using the UV-VIS spectrophotometry with separation on silicagel. Location Licoměřice was chosen as a reference. Like a supplementary method for determining the concentration of uranium was chosen ICP-MS. For the determination of the radium was chosen radiochemical method scintillator ZnS (Ag).

This diploma thesis discusses the issue of Voice Activity Detection. There are two types of detectors described: energetic and statistics. Their funktionality is proved in the Matlab environment. Further, the implemetation of VADs is made through C language with standard libraries and GSL open-source libraries. The realized algorithms are compared in the scope of processing time of computation, memory management and a single mathematical operations stress. Also a comparism of the processing time according to segment length was made.

The main objective of this diploma thesis is to describe simultaneous electroencephalography-correlated functional magnetic resonance imaging analysis using EEG data processing. It includes basic characteristics of EEG and fMRI recording and analysis and their combination as simultaneous EEG/fMRI analysis and deals with obstructions during its processing. The thesis includes a design of an experiment used for recording and analysis of simultaneous EEG/fMRI data using EEG source reconstruction for regressor construction. Thesis incorporates a software solution used for extraction of signal describing a source activity interpolated by EEG source reconstruction. The signal is then processed and used to construct a basic regressor. The thesis also deals with the software solution being used for a study focused on intracranial epileptic discharges localization using a simultaneous EEG/fMRI analysis in which it reveals source activity during ongoing epileptic spike and summarizes the results.

The diploma thesis analyzes marketing activities of retail chains in the Czech Republic. It summarizes basic knowledge about trade, marketing, marketing communications and basic methods of marketing research. It deals with particular retail chains with focus on modern trade, from the traditional trade it focuses on COOP chain. It examines different marketing activities of retail chains and sets best practice. For COOP chain is carried out a deeper analyses of marketing activities based on approach of SWOT analyses. The thesis also uses a knowledge from questionnaires: one was the internet questionnaire and the other was conducted via personal questioning among COOP customers. Final proposals incorporate marketing activities that can be used in any retail chain and also a set of recommendation of marketing activities designated especially for COOP chain.

Master’s thesis deals with analysis of costs of the selected company. Theoretical part brings on fundamental that is later elaborated in the second part. The selected company is introduced and also the current economic situation is evaluated in the practical part. Later the costs are analyzed and important part of the thesis is dedicated to the project of utilization of the Activity-Based Costing method. Conclusion of the thesis evaluates the results of this method.
