Application of knowledge management in the process of technology transfer --- Eternal Corporation as case study.Lu, Tai-Chien 09 June 2003 (has links)
Abstract
Application of knowledge management in the process of technology transfer --- Eternal Corporation as case study.
Nowadays, The boundaries of the Enterprise were not division with regional of the geography environments under the global economic system. Even thought, the small company also have a lot of branch office was dispersed in the world; and some new companies also have a world view to use the cheaper labor and production source to service local market nearby. So, there are some benefits on the substantiation system of the produce technology transfer to the other area; short-term that will enhance the local competition; long-term that can continue to master the competition and to innovate products independence.
Under the globalization age of the knowledge economic, the knowledge be quickly acquired and effectively control that will be one of the route to create the value and to master the advantage of the competition for enterprise. Therefore, there are so many different modes to aim the character of the knowledge as the knowledge creation, knowledge transfer and knowledge acquired. In this thesis I will research that how to use the applicable and effective of the knowledge acquired mode for the applied of the knowledge management mode; that will avoid waste of the resource and also assist enterprise to manager and apply the knowledge that it get. Let the core ability will been complete transfer rapidly and to go a step further the technology innovation.
According to the state of the research motive as above that this study was through the document confer and case study of the technology transfer in the enterprise expect to obtain some of the research objective as below:
First, via the document confer to integrate the mode of the technology transfer and the frame of the knowledge management.
Second, to analyze the relationship of reciprocal action between the transfer of the core technology and knowledge management that will be valid used the frame of the knowledge management proceed to the next step. Also it could to accelerate the technology transfer.
Third, via the case study of the technology transfer, to confer the valid applied the mode of the knowledge management in the different phase when technology transfer.
Fourth, to analyze the difference compared with the step of the process when doing the technology transfer, and offer enterprise for reference.

Research of Knowledge Creation & Spread In Company
-Case Study
Abstract
Knowledge management is one of the current hottest issues in academy and in practice. Nowadays, facing changeful and critical competitive environments, knowledge creation and spread management is the key resource to gain competitive advantage.
The structure of this research is based on four modules of knowledge transformation; five-step modules in organization knowledge creation procedure and five circumstances of organization knowledge creation spiral, which advocated by Nonaka & Takeuchi (1994). The research designs contents of interviews in order to explore the influence of company competition in knowledge creation and spread management. The research also tries to integrate scopes of knowledge management researches by academic documents and deep interviews to explore and understand knowledge creation and spread management in company.
The result shows most of companies know knowledge management is one of the internal core procedures. If it can establish a better knowledge management system earlier than competitor, then the company can develop it into a long-term major advantage by a spread of knowledge spiral even if it is tiny initially. In this case, manufacturers know customer¡¦s demands by feedback system management operating by customer claim service department. Then marketing and developing departments react punctually and supply suitable product and service in market. A tiny advantage can increase company¡¦s competition. This is increasing return economics.

The study of oragnization knowledge creation process and affecting factors¡Xthe example of china steel knowledge creation activitiesLu, Yu-Lung 29 January 2010 (has links)
Abstract
Knowledge have gradually replaced the asset to become the most important resource of the organization , people are more and more concerned about how company do the knowledge selection , creation, storage and application in the recently 20 years. There are many researches to discuss about how organization manage its knowledge creation , but there are rare essays to discuss the process of knowledge creation. Nonaka had provided knowledge spiral model to explain how organization create knowledge, he predicted organization create knowledge through the SECI process ¡Vassociation , extermination, combination ,internalization, but he has never mentioned about the process of how individual create knowledge.
This article offer ¡§From individual to organization knowledge creation integration modal ¡§ which based on the viewpoint of information flow in knowledge creation process to discuss the affecting factors of knowledge creation. We analog the cognition development theory of Piaget and combined the SECI organization knowledge conversion of Nonaka to develop individual knowledge creation modal. From this modal , we predict the new thinking comes from the process which individual try to eliminate the information gap between the outside information and inside knowledge base through the dialectical process of assimilation and accommodation. When individual offer the new idea t to the other guy of the task force, it become the new outside information of the people to do the next dialectical process , and at that time the creation type will transfer from individual to organization . We consider organization knowledge creation is the information transforming process among the individuals in the group , the new knowledge is created in the dialectical process that go through antithetical concepts such as individual ¡V organization , tacit - explicit . From this integration model, we predict the affecting factors of knowledge creation which includes the selection of creator and the fitness of organization management. Finally, we try to find the fitness factors arrangement of the knowledge creation management through the resource construction model to construct the innovation ability as organization .resource , which will let the creative activity continuous running.
We interview the china steel knowledge creation activities, and use the modal what we develop to explain these cases , we also try to find the common factors of these successful activities and to find the process and the source of innovation and give some suggestion to these activities. It shows china steel cases own the most part of factors which a successful innovation need , but if these innovation activities want to last forever to become organization resource , they need to transfer the firm¡¦s frame of mind from individual achievement requirement to enterprise value emphasis.
