The content of diploma thesis is design of the construction of steel footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists. The footbridge is across the railway in Kyjov. The design will be processed in two options of structure. The selected option will be developed in greater detail. The span of footbridge is 35 m and the width is 3 m. The contruction is made by two arched beams which are connected to the bridge deck by suspenders. The stability of the construction is provided by longitudinal bracing under the bridge deck and the bracing between the arched beams. The assessment of the structure was made according to valid standards.

The master's thesis deals with the project of the new building of the Sports Hall in the Staré Město at the stage of project documentation for the construction on plots 2420/1, 2420/41, 2420/42, 2420/43, 2420/44, 4568/38, 6277/2, 6277/3 , 2517/4. The plots on which the construction is proposed are flat or slightly sloping. The building has no basement, has two floors. The perimeter structures in the locker rooms are designed from ceramic blocks of the POROTHERM system, including the thermal insulation system according to the principles of ETICS, and in the gym from the curtain walling of the KINGSPAN system. Horizontal structures are folded prestressed ceiling panels SPIROLL. The cloakroom building is covered by a warm flat roof, and the gymnasium by barrel roof made of glued laminated girder. In the sports hall, 5 changing rooms are designed, including sanitary facilities, then facilities for the operation of the hall and refreshments for spectators.

В работе рассмотрен вопрос оценки надежности бескаркасной арочной конструкции пролетом 35 метров при использовании в климатических условиях Свердловской области, так же выполнен дополнительный расчет второго пролета 20 метров, для наглядного понимания надежности подобных конструкций, сама оценка произведена в программе «Лира-САПР», создана модель арочной конструкции, из тонкостенных холодногнутых профилей с поперечно-гофрированными гранями. Собраны и приложены действующие на конструкцию нагрузки. Произведены соответствующие расчеты. По результатам расчетов сделан вывод о том, арочные конструкции и их прочностные характеристики рассматриваемых конструкций с пролетом 35 метров, не отвечают требованиям прочности и надежности, арочные конструкции с пролетом 20 метров, отвечают требованиям прочности и надежности только лишь частично. / The paper considers the issue of assessing the reliability of a frameless arched structure with a span of 35 meters when used in the climatic conditions of the Sverdlovsk region, an additional calculation of the second span of 20 meters was also performed, for a clear understanding of the reliability of such structures, the assessment itself was made in the Lira-CAD program, a model was created arched structure made of thin-walled cold-formed profiles with transversely corrugated edges. The loads acting on the structure are collected and applied. The corresponding calculations were made. Based on the results of the calculations, it was concluded that the arched structures and their strength characteristics of the structures under consideration with a span of 35 meters do not meet the requirements for strength and reliability, arched structures with a span of 20 meters meet the requirements of strength and reliability only partially.

Area of the airport Medlánky is situated on the border of city districts Brno-Medlánky and Brno-Komín near the nature reserve "Medlánecké kopce". The designed gallery of aviation is a two-storey building, which consists of three parts. The main part is the exhibition space for airplanes, which is formed of a single-storey long-span hall, with the two-storey entrance part of the complex of buildings connected to it, in which are situated the area of the entrance, the training center (detached workplace of the institute of aviation FS BUT in Brno) and the administration. In the building of the original hangar, which is located along the street Turistická are located restaurants and aeroclub. Exhibition hall of the building of the gallery is formed by the structural system of the arched wooden glulam beams. The load-bearing wooden structures are visible and form the elements of the interior of the exhibition space. Two-storey extention of the entrance part of the building is structurally designed as a skeleton wooden structure. The material exception is the area of the entrance, which is made of monolithic concrete.

The subject of this master’s thesis is the design and assessment of footbridge in Železný Brod across the Jizera river. The preliminary assessment contains 3 different variants of footbridges. Based on the multi-criteria analysis will be chosen the most suitable type for detailed design. Detailed static analysis contains assessment of the main load-bearing parts of the structure including joints. The length of span is 60,0 m and the width of passage is 2,5 m. The structure is made of steel class S355 and S460.

The ground dimensions of the structure are 40,0 x 52,0 m and the height at the highest point is 13,14 m. The supporting structure consists of a truss girder consisting of a set of arches, outer columns and an inner column with a strut. This is a freebase system, the distance of the bindings is 4.0 m. In the framework of the work is elaborated the comparison of two variants, more suitable includes the static calculation of the main supporting parts, including the joints and details. The main construction material is steel, grade S 355.

The subject of the diploma thesis is a processed design of a steel construction of a pavilion shaped by spherical segments. The pavilion has exhibition purpose as a part of the zoological garden Lešná, and is intended for African beasts. The design meets architectonical requests - roundness and luminosity. A shape of the pavilion consists of three intersecting cupolas with a frontal curved cut out for glass facade. Construction of the pavilion consists of the radial arranged arched ribs with transversal bars, which are supplemented by horizontal purlins. Forehead of the pavilion is formed by columns and girts. Cladding is designed in combination: aluminum profile and insulated glass. Comparison of alternative steel structure solutions is also a part of the diploma thesis.
