(UFCG). The approach presented here, the prospect of forming a multimedia professional the art and media director is multidimensional with regard to the aesthetics of art, concomitant to the technological expertise, creativity, direction and communication, necessary for the convergence of events artistic, in the present tasks of the director. The argument of the thesis is that, for education of art and media director, it is necessary mastery of the art in its aesthetic field, with the understanding of the techniques for its implementation. It aims to present an approach to the education of art and media directors as essential to putting a proposal in this multidimensional way, with the support the technological tools that exist the multimedia, without forgetting that the art and media direction should prevail by the way, as an act of contemplation and enjoyment when reading the works of art. The argument being put forward is that to prevent the fragmentation of the art understanding of the universe works of multimedia, more specifically in the art and media direction, offering another opportunity for training, in contrast to those of top-level schools which resolve to work through art its materiality. To that end, use the philosophical aesthetics, proposed by Luigi Pareyson in your theory of formativity, as category for the understanding of the existence of a fragmentation of the art and the Pareyson's hermeneutics as methodology. Through the philosophical aesthetics, it opens the possibility of understanding the art of a less specific or focused only on technology, while at the same time, even within a specific, we are establishing a dialogue with the whole, which is vital for the role of art and media director. If there is a multimedia art, against the other unimedia and if there is an education that understands differences between them, we interpret that as the fragmentation of art prevents the understanding of multimedia art universe. / Este trabalho está inserido no campo da arte e da educação de diretores de arte, especialmente no novo perfil que envolve não apenas o visual em princípio, mas toda a relação sinestésica presente nas obras de arte multimídia, e que está contido diretamente na educação proposta pelo curso de graduação em Arte e Mídia da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande. A abordagem aqui apresentada, na perspectiva de formação de um profissional multimídia o diretor de arte e mídia é multidimensional no que se refere à estética da arte, concomitante ao conhecimento tecnológico, a criatividade, a direção e a comunicação, necessários à convergência das manifestações artísticas, presentes nas atribuições do diretor. O argumento da tese é que, para a educação de diretores de arte e mídia, se faz necessário o domínio da arte em seu campo estético, conjuntamente com a compreensão das técnicas para a sua execução. Objetiva-se assim a apresentação de uma abordagem para a educação de diretores de arte e mídia colocando como essencial uma proposta multidimensional presente no curso, tendo como suporte as ferramentas tecnológicas que existem na multimídia, sem esquecer que a direção de arte e mídia deve prevalecer por sobre os sentidos, como num ato de contemplação e fruição quando da leitura da obra de arte. A tese a ser defendida é que á fragmentação da arte impede o entendimento de obras do universo multimídia, mais especificamente na direção de arte e mídia, propondo outra possibilidade de formação, em contraponto àquelas das escolas de nível superior que resolvem trabalhar a arte através de sua materialidade. Nesse intuito, utilizo a estética filosófica, proposta pela teoria da formatividade de Luigi Pareyson, como categoria para o entendimento da existência de uma fragmentação da arte e sua hermenêutica como metodologia. Através da estética filosófica abre-se a possibilidade de compreensão da arte de maneira menos específica ou voltada apenas à técnica, ao mesmo tempo em que, mesmo dentro de uma especificidade, estabelece-se o diálogo com o todo, o que é vital para a função do diretor de arte e mídia. Se há uma arte multimídia em contraponto a outra unimídia e se há uma educação que percebe diferenças entre elas, há como se interpretar que a fragmentação da arte impede o entendimento de obras do universo multimídia.
