Asymetrie kostěné pánve ve vztahu k reprodukci člověka / Pelvic asymmetry in relation to the human reproduction

Kodytková, Aneta January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals primarily with the existence of the asymmetry of the bony pelvis and the sexual dimorphism of the asymmetry of the pelvic canal, which is caused by different reproductive functions of each of the sexes. Furthermore, the correlation or linear dependence of the external pelvic and pelvic canal dimensions was investigated. The study uses 3D pelvic models created in Avizo 7.1 from CT images of the recent French population. The material consists of 74 probands, of which 36 are males and 38 are females. The models were digitalized using Viewbox 4 software, in which 29 landmarks were applied to each pelvic model. These correspond to 24 dimensions divided into three groups: the size of the non-canal pelvis, the dimensions of the pelvic canal and the dimensions for calculating the correlation between the non-canal pelvis and the pelvic canal. The degree of asymmetry was evaluated using the formulas for the calculation of directorial (DA) and absolute (AA) asymmetry. Student's paired t-test was used for statistical analysis of asymmetry to determine asymmetry in previous studies. Gender differences were determined by the Mann-Whitney U test. At the same time, an analysis using the mixed model ANOVA was also performed, which in addition incorporates an intraobservation measurement...

Boráňová, Martina January 2013 (has links)
Title: The comparison of stereognosis and pallesthesia of the preferred and non-preferred upper extremity in students of physiotherapy Objectives: To the objectives of the work belong the processing and compilation of information concerning laterality and sensation in the region of the upper extremities, then to evaluate the preference of the upper extremity by means of elected tests in 30 students of physiotherapy and to evaluate, whether the sensitivity of stereognosis and pallesthesia is higher in the region of the non- preferred upper extremity than in the region of the preferred upper extremity or whether the sensitivity of stereognosis and pallesthesia both of the upper extremities do not differ. Methods: The tasks of the work were dealt with four tests directed to the examination of preference, stereognosis and pallesthesia in the region of upper extremities. The statistic analysis of the results of the examination was carried out by means of paired t-test. Results: In the examination of pallesthesia in the region of processus styloideus radii and in the examination of stereognosis the null-hypothesis, that the sensitivity of pallesthesia / stereognosis examined by selected test in the region of preferred and non-preferred upper extremity in students of physiotherapy does not differ, was at...

Signální teorie a najímání práce

Machač, Filip January 2017 (has links)
The thesis aims at the role of signals and their influence on the decision making of employers and/or recruiters as to who will pass the CV round to further rounds of the tender. Thesis focuses, among others, on explanation of the signal theory and its applicability to hiring labour. Using econometric methods hypotheses about the influence of individual signals on decisions of recruiters were tested. Results suggest that stastically significant signals are education, practise, language skills, formal language, age, sex and marital status.

Stranové rozdíly v morfologii mediálního epikondylu humeru v kontextu ulnární neuropatie lokte. / Side difference in morphology of the medial humeral epicondyle in context of the ulnar neuropathy of elbow.

Radvanská, Edita January 2021 (has links)
The ulnar neuropathy of the elbow (UNE) is the second most common compression neuropathy in the upper extremity. The studies of impact of bone morphology on the origin of the ulnar neuropathy are inconsistent. According to the recently published retrospective analysis of 880 cases of the cubital tunnel syndrome, the incidence of the ulnar neuropathy is more often on the left side, independent of handedness. The theoretical part of this thesis contains a summary of recent literature with an emphasis on the etiology, basics of diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of the UNE. The experimental part is made of the measurement of ten parameters of humerus bones. The aim of this experiment was to decide whether some of these measures were different compared to the other side. There were statistically significant differences in 4 of 9 crucial parameters, where the right side was bigger than the left side, therefore we believe the influence of bone morphology on the origin of the UNE cannot be excluded. The results may help towards a better understanding of the etiopathogenesis of the origin of the UNE and therefore be a valuable starting point for other studies of prevention, diagnosis and therapy of the UNE.

Unilaterální funkční asymetrie svalů předloktí u sportovních lezců / Unilateral functional asymmetry of forearm muscles in sport climbers

Palacký, Vít January 2013 (has links)
Title: Unilateral functional asymmetry of forearm muscles in sport climbers Objectives: The aim of the study is to evaluate the impact of experienced strain injury of forearm muscles on maximal isometric strength ratios between the flexors and extensors of the fingers in sport climbers. Methods: People were in two groups, twelve people in each of them. In the first group were the climbers after the strain injuries of forearm muscles (earlier than in last 3 months). In the second group were the climbers without these injuries. The dynamometer MIE Medical in Laboratory of sport motoric FTVS UK was used for the method. The maximal value of isometric strength of flexors and extensors of the fingers was measured. For the analysis of the results was used the unpaired t-test for unequal sample sizes with equal variances. Results: The climbers with experienced forearm muscle injury had statistically not significant higher maximal isometric strength ratios between flexors and extensors of the fingers. Higher values of maximal isometric strength of finger flexor muscles were measured in climbers with injuries in anamnesis and the lower values of maximal isometric strength of finger extensor muscles. These two differences were not statistically significant too. Keywords: muscle asymmetry - isometric strength...

Regulace ratingových agentur / The regulation of the rating agencies

Búry, Tomáš January 2013 (has links)
The Regulation of Credit Rating Agencies The thesis is concentrated on the regulation of credit rating agencies and aims to contribute to a current discussion regarding the future of credit rating agencies. A primary focus of the work was to explore whether a negative role of credit rating agencies in current crisis was caused by their insufficient, unnecessary or unsuitable regulation. An evaluation of sufficiency of newly adopted regulation with respect to the effective functioning of the rating market was chosen as an additional purpose of research. For the fulfillment of the stated aim analytical and comparative methods and synthesis were used. The style of the thesis falls within the Law and Economics approach. The research is based on EU and US legal norms, legislative documents of the European Commission and legal jurisprudence. Part I describes the emergence, development and the functioning of credit rating agencies, structure of rating market and legal meaning of the rating. Part II analyzes the ratio for regulation of credit rating agencies from the perspective of economic analysis of law. Mainly, whether agencies fulfill their function, what could potentially restrain them and how can be regulation helpful in this field. Part III compares and examines current regulatory reform of credit...

Vliv symetrie účesu na atraktivitu ženské tváře / An effect of the hairstyle symmetry on the female face attractiveness

LAPEŠOVÁ, Tereza January 2019 (has links)
Diploma thesis deals with the effect of the hairstyle symmetry on the female face attractiveness. The aim of the thesis is to experimentally find out the possible relationship between the hairstyle symmetry and the attractiveness of the female face. To map out the views of attractiveness, an online questionnaire was submitted to the respondents of both sexes to evaluate female faces with a symmetrical and asymmetric hairstyles. A total of 56 images were created, which were evaluated by the respondents in terms of attractiveness on the scale of 1-10. Most respondents slightly favored the symmetrical hairstyles, only one sample of male respondents slightly favored the asymmetric hairstyles. Since the difference in symmetrical and asymmetric variations was not statistically significant in any case, it is possible to claim that the symmetry of the hairstyle does not affect the attractiveness of the female face.

Interdiffusion et déformations dans des multicouches Cu/Ni et Mo/V: Diffraction des rayons X et simulation de la cinétique

Benoudia, Mohamed-Chérif 01 July 2009 (has links) (PDF)
