The thesis deals with event tourism in Hradec Králové from the point of view of supply of attractions of the city and demand of potential visitors for the products of tourism. The theoretical part defines basic concepts of tourism with the support of scientific literature and other suitable sources. The own work consist of the characteristic of the city, supply of attractions and events. Further, the possible development of the city is examined on the base of strategic document. The part of the own work includes the questionnaire survey that finds out the information from the potential visitors and their opinion of event tourism in Hradec Králové. After evaluating all the inputs there will be proposed new products of tourism that would encourage event tourism in the city.

To work out this diploma thesis on the theme Marketing study of selected tourist attraction the author has chosen Castle Klášterec nad Ohří. The castle is the most important attraction in the town Klášterec nad Ohří and one of the most visited monuments in the Czech Republic. The castle is a tourist target of almost 20 thousands visitors every year. The task of this thesis is to analyze existing application of marketing tools of this attraction. To resolve this issue will be used the following analysis: analysis of marketing mix, environmental analysis, segmentation of visitors, turnout analysis of visitors and SWOT analysis. The aim of this thesis is, based on the data found out in the analyzes, to make up a concept of further development of Castle Klášterec nad Ohří for the next period which could lead to increase its attractiveness. The diploma thesis is devided into four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to basic concepts of tourism and marketing. Based on the quotes in this chapter, is made the analytical part which applies the knowledge to marketing activities of castle.

The topic of the diploma thesis is “Crowdfunding as a developing financial source for businesses in the Czech Republic”. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the external environment of crowdfunding and estimate its current and future development. The analysis of the external environment will be done by the PEST analysis and Industry analysis. Subsequently, there will be performed analysis using Key driving forces of change. These forces will be further evaluated and summarized by the evaluation of industry attractiveness with a help of the pair comparison method. The results of the performed analyses will show how attractive crowdfunding is and how it reacts on the identified factors. In the final part of the thesis, the future development will be discussed.

Souvislost fyzické atraktivity a péče o vzhled / Relation between Physical Attractiveness and Grooming"Marečková, Jana January 2012 (has links)
Physical attractiveness plays an important role in many aspects of our lives. The aim of this study is to reveal what is the correlation between rating of physical attractiveness made by oneself and by others, and personal grooming. The relation between self-rating of overall physical attractiveness and its rating made by others (using photographs) and connection between these ratings and personal grooming were examined on the basis of a heterogeneous sample of 43 women and 32 men. These ratings of overall attractiveness, face attractiveness and body attractiveness were provided by 34 judges (each time 17 males and 17 females) different for every variable. Our results showed a positive relation between participant's self-rating of overall physical attractiveness and its rating made by others. Further analyses proved that rating of overall physical attractiveness was positively associated both with facial and body attractiveness for both sexes. With regard to women, a correlation between self-rating of physical attractiveness and reduced care of body shape and eyebrow was revealed; regarding men, self-rating correlated with reduced care of body shape, hair, fingernails and less care for outfit was shown. V poslední části aplikuji teoretické poznatky přímo na podnik JIP Papírny Větřní, a.s. . Z výsledku těchto základních analýz navrhuji konkrétní strategii a porovnávám ji se současnou strategií podniku. V závěru své práce se pokusím celkově zhodnotit postavení podniku na trhu a nově zvolenou strategii podniku.

The main aim of this thesis is through the analysis to monitor the domestic tourism in the Region of South Bohemia, to determine participant satisfaction and domestic tourism, and build its profile. A partial aim is to prepare the methodology of investigation of domestic tourism in a chosen area. A part of this thesis is a questioning, which was realised during the summer of 2010 in selected locations in the Region of South Bohemia. Locations were chosen deliberately (based on information from secondary sources). Specifically, the recreational area around the left bank of the Lipno lake, the State Castle and Chateau Český Krumlov, the State Chateau Hluboká, the State Chateau Červená Lhota, the Rosenberg Castle and the Tourist Information Centre Tábor. The outcome of this thesis is the profile of domestic visitor in the Region of South Bohemia and the methodology of build the profile of domestic visitor in an arbitrarily selected area.
