The aim of this diploma project is to define cultural tourism in Czech republic and to analyse cultural tourism in Jihlava. This diploma project inludes precautions for improvement of tourism, especially cultural tourism in the city Jihlava.

The object of this diploma thesis was to analyze the tourism potential in the Macha{\crq}s region and analyze the partnership between subjects of tourism in this area. Tourist attractions and tourist services were analyzed too. There were given tips to improve the development of tourism.

The paper analyses the position of the narrow-gauge railway of Jindřichův Hradec in tourism of the region. The first part characterizes the area, its potency for tourism and analyses visitors in the region. The second part deals with detailed description of the narrow-gauge railway and the company Jindřichohradecké místní dráhy a.s., which owns and conducts the railway. The last part analyses the position of the narrow-gauge railway in tourism based on ascertained data and according to analisys suggests further development of the railway.

The objective of this thesis was to evaluate the attractiveness of Jindřichův Hradec. The theoretical part is a description of the basic assumptions, which are used as standard assessments of potential for tourism. Other, more complex methods are spatial analysis and overlay analysis. The practical part is the description field under review. Detailed analysis of the primary components of the assumptions offer and secondary offer. For further evaluation method is developed based on defining the conditions for tourism, which are then scored and ranked and the obtained information are summarized. The same data are used to create maps in the GIS program. All results are evaluated for overall impression of intensity and attractiveness of tourism. Conclusion is a recommendation for the development of sustainable tourism in the area Jindřichův Hradec.

The topic of this thesis is the product portfolio innovation of tourism for the segment 55+ on the example of the České Budějovice region. The main aim of this study was to assess the current through the analysis of tourism products for a selected segment - a group of 55+ in Ceske Budejovice. Using the field survey have been identified the requirements and the preferences of the 55+ segment ,on its basis was designed the project of the innovation the tourism's product portfolio for the selected segment.

The objective of this diploma thesis is search processing of tourism, his problematics and protection of the nature. In the other part this thesis deal with analysis of hiking trail in Labske piskovce PLA in focus of potentional atractive with proposal of new hiking trails in this location. Analysis containe all hiking trails in this location according to colored tourism distinction of trails. Proposal of new hiking trails was formed with regard on protection of nature thus at the same time was surrounding area approached for visitors as much as possible. Proposal comprise new and turisty often attended attractiviness. This proposal can produce increase of attractiviness in this district and the influx of new turists.

The thesis is focused on extreme value distributions and their applications. Firstly, basics of the extreme value theory for one-dimensional observations are summarized. Using the limit theorem for distribution of maximum, three extreme value distributions (Gumbel, Fréchet, Weibull) are introduced and their domains of attraction are described. Two models for parametric functions estimation based on the generalized extreme value distribution (block maxima model) and the generalized Pareto distribution (threshold model) are introduced. Parameters estimates of these distributions are derived using the method of maximum likelihood and the probability weighted moment method. Described methods are used for analysis of the rainfall data in the Brno Region. Further attention is paid to Gumbel class of distributions, which is frequently used in practice. Methods for statistical inference of multiply left-censored samples from exponential and Weibull distribution considering the type I censoring are developed and subsequently used in the analysis of synthetic musk compounds concentrations. The last part of the thesis deals with the extreme value theory for two-dimensional observations. Demonstrational software for the extreme value distributions was developed as a part of this thesis.

The aim of this thesis is to highlight the importance of folk culture for tourism development and to suggest options for better evaluation and effective use of the potential of folk culture tourism in the selected region based on the results of the analysis in the region of Wallachia. In the introduction of the practical part I deal with the current supply of Wallachia. The fundamental part was quantitative marketing research in the form of a questionnaire survey. The aim of the survey was to identify the participants of tourism in terms of demographic characteristics, determine the purpose of the visit, analyse their financial expenses, and identify subjective perception of culture and assessment of infrastructure and services in the region. I designed a new product called "Wallachia hunt", which aim was to involve young people in the Wallachia culture, tourism allows participants to actively and an interesting way to travel around the region and specifically to discover its natural and cultural wealth. "Wallachia hunt" is based on the worldwide known activity called geocaching. In my work I have put together a detailed proposal for annual testing of this activity.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a corporate strategy of a company, which will lead to a new definition of SBUs and provide us with main direction for business strategy of each SBU. The thesis consists of theoretical knowledge of the subject related to strategy and strategy analysis of current position of the company.
