This master thesis deals with the area of external audit of banks and its relations with regulatory and supervisory authorities. Its goal is to identify and describe the specifics, which differs bank's financial statements audit from audit of other non-banking institutions, and discuss cooperation between external auditors and supervisory authorities. The first section defines the general framework of the external audit with an emphasis on legal aspects. In the second part are described the phases of the common audit procedures. The third section defines the characteristics of banking institutions and describes the specifics of audit methodology and procedures applied during the audit of the bank. The final part discusses the role, responsibility and cooperation of banks, external auditors and regulatory and supervisory authorities.

This diploma thesis deals with cross-sectoral cooperation in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR). This topic is researched using a case study of the Food Bank for Prague and Central Bohemia and food chains that have established a cooperative partnership with the organization. Empirical research took the form of an initial fieldwork, interviews, and analysis of websites and other available documents. The thesis aims to introduce the insufficiently- explored issue of food banks and CSR that is created around them by food chains. First, it deals with the types of cooperation that occur within these relationships and proceeds to explore their dynamics. Furthermore, it examines the motivations of chains for cooperation and the appraisal of mutual cooperation both on their part as well as the part of the food bank, a representantive of the non-profit sector. The thesis can serve as an inspiration for further research on the topic of food banks or cross-sectoral cooperation that would involve perspectives of entities from both cooperating sectors as this represents a fact that is often overlooked in research. In this master thesis I want to focus on high rank executives in the National Bank of Czechoslovakia. between years 1938- 1953. These employers are important to me, because they were educated during the time of Austro-Hungarian empire or during the time of The First Czechoslovak Republic. They also had to work under nazist economic system and under communist economic system as well. These interactions between employers and both regimes are the ones that I would like to study in my master thesis. I would also like to study their social background. Their place of birth was also important. It is important to know their skills in foreign languages. Foreign languages were necessary for communication between the bank and other financial institutions. Ondrašíková, K. Application of Mathematical and Statistical Methods in Business Management. Thesis. Brno: Brno University of Technology, 2019. This thesis deals with the analysis of the mortgage market and the identification of factors that influence its growth. The thesis proposes using the available mathematical and statistical methods of measures for the bank at the level of mortgage sales based on the market analysis.

The dissertation focuses on the creation of a new methodology of evaluation and remuneration for top managers in the environment of the Czech manufacturing industry. Based on a literature search, individual methods of evaluation and remuneration of this selected group of employees were defined. Due to the complexity of the issues addressed, it is also necessary to focus on the company's performance, which is monitored through the EBITDA indicator. This indicator is then the main pillar for the remuneration of managers. The methodology consists of two more pillars. The first is the macroeconomic indicator of gross domestic product, the second is the qualitative factor of the ethical aspect of the manager's work. The work aims to create a remuneration methodology that will be usable for the Czech environment, will combine the manager's remuneration with his performance and the performance of the company and could lead to a reduction in the cost of representation. The key to its creation was the acquisition of primary data through questionnaire surveys and pilot studies, which were evaluated by mathematical and statistical methods. The resulting methodology is applied to a specific company within the verification of the proposed methodology.

This semester project deals with filtering of the images detected by use of NMR obtained by NMR application measurement of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). This thesis includes the theory of nuclear magnetic resonance, digital filters, basic digital filter banks structures, theory of Wavelet transformation and description of Signal to Noise Ratio calculation. Basic procedure of the MR signal denoising is summarized in the theoretical part of the thesis. The denoising of the images detected by nuclear magnetic resonance is described. In experimental part filtering methods for images denoising are described, which are implemented in program Matlab. These methods are based on Wavelet transformation, digital filter banks with proper thresholding. Effectiveness of filtering methods designed was verified on 2D NMR images. All of these 2D images were measure on MR tomography in the Institute of Scientific Instruments Academy of Science of the Czech Republic in Brno.

This thesis deals myopotential denoising of ECG signals with using wavelet transform. There was used wavelet denoising subsequently wiener wavelet filtering. In both cases were found the most suitable coeficients for the best denoising. It is meant mainly settings suitable parameters for ideal filtration setting value of threshold, number of decomposition level, selection of thresholding and type of filter. These parameters are tested on real signals. Denoising is realized in Matlab version R2009b.

This master´s thesis analyses the importance of living in own property, the possibilities of financing, especially construction saving loans and mortgages. I mention the current situation on the market of loans and mortgages and the estate market. In second part i describe the work of financial advisor and i include offered products, i suggest to clients the best possibilities of how to finance their property. I suggest options, compare them and recommend the most convenient one.

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of available forms of financing of housing in Czech Republic. The attention is basicly concentrated on mortages and loans provided by building society, including bridging loans. There are also mentioned different types of prospects for financing, concretely loans and backing provided by government. The application example shows financial demands of various products and their possible combinations.
