Relationen till mitt instrument i mitt komponerande : En studie i komposition

Henriksson, Jon January 2021 (has links)
In this project, the purpose has been to integrate the double bass in my composing process. This is because I mainly compose by the piano. I have examined how composing from different instruments, has affected the artistic result as well as the ambition to have the double bass play a bigger part in the music.    I write about my composition process and the considerations taken along the way, linked to the purpose. I further explain how I have worked on the material together with five musicians to put together a concert in May 2021.    Concludingly I state that I have developed as a double bassist and as a composer. And that my understanding for what kinds of roles a double bass can have has improved.    This project could be interesting for all kinds of practicing musicians and composers but foremost for double bassists. / <p>1.
