Svobodová, Simona January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis is dealing with the theme of use of the Botanic Garden in Teplice to teach Science - especially Botany at Elementary School, 2nd grade. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part I'm dealing with mapping of botanic gardens in the Czech republic - mainly focusing on the Botanic Garden in Teplice. In the second part I'm applying my mind to the classification of Botany into the Framework Education Programme and subsequently its covering into the School Education Programme - at the Elementary School Litvinov - Hamr, to be more accurate. One section of the second part contains theoretic information about how to create worksheets and explanation of the teaching method - excursion. I also mention the theory of growing plants in the school parcel. The third part includes my own worksheets. The worksheets were created during the excursion and after it (together with the outcomes). After discussions with different teachers the worksheets with concrete education theme of Botany have been created. Finally there are eight worksheets together with the outcomes. These worksheets were being completed during the excursion and after it since a questionnaire for pupils was made. In the third part I'm dealing with the analysis of questionnaire and according to the availably gained information with the creation of my own worksheets. After the questionnaire there were nine worksheets with the concrete teaching methodology of botany and methodological worksheets. Afterwards the worksheet called ¨Excursion itself¨ was verified. Altogether nine worksheets with the methodological outcomes were created. The pupils were filling in the worksheets during the excursion and then the pupils' questionnaire was made to gain the feedback. Návrh rekonstrukce historického Beaufortského alpina v Bečově nad Teplou (Karlovarsko) / Proposal for reconstruction of the historic Beaufort rock garden in the Bečov nad Teplou town (district Karlovy Vary)

ŠPAKOVÁ, Markéta January 2012 (has links)
This thesis will build upon my undergraduate dissertation. It is enriched by the new information about the original historic Beaufort rock garden. It explores the Beaufort rock garden and includes points of view of the experts on its condition today. The following part of the thesis comprises of a proposal for a renewal of the current Bečov botanical garden framework and of a more detailed focus on few selected rocks and their initial planting. The main contribution of this work is an expansion of the total number of the initially grown plants (from 654 to 1228) thanks to the newly found resources and to the writing down all the newly discovered information from the archival research of the original historical documents dated from 1908 to 1937. All the documents were catalogued by the author of the original concept alpina, the head gardener Johann Koditek. What we do know from the original documentation is how the area expanded between the years 1922 - 1927 with the purchase of the surrounding land. It is clear that the expenses for the land were about 18 098,31crowns and for various works, building construction, plants, materials and wages the total sum was 468 336.07 crowns. The exact mounting plans for landscape park were rediscovered (10 plans and inventories in total) and 16 plans and inventories in total of 47 for the rock garden. The chart with the total number of the originally cultivated taxa also consists of the surviving taxa in the area (22 specific herb species + 43 specific tree species and 12 tree genera). The synonymy of the original plants was created for three selected rocks and surveyed their purchase options today. Most of the taxa will return back to the garden, only rock no. 8 will have to be planted differently due to the lack of light on the original plants. Keywords: origin

Vliv aplikace organických hnojiv na botanickou skladbu, diverzitu a pícninářské charakteristiky travních porostů / The influence of organic fertilisation on botanical composition, diversity and fodder characteristics of permanent grasslands

KINCL, Petr January 2018 (has links)
In connection with the growing area of permanent grasslands in the Czech Republic, their productive and, above all, non-productive importance is at the forefront. In addition to forage production, meadow stands represent an important component of the environment in terms of biodiversity conservation. The aim of this diploma thesis was to monitor the influence of organic fertilization on land in the cadastral of Cekov and Kařez. Observations were carried out on unheated and organically fertilized localities in 2017. Higher botanical diversity showed unheated land, where the herbal component and clover predominated. There was a higher proportion of grass on the fertilized land. In terms of grassland quality, fertilized plots were best assessed. The data analyzed were statistically evaluated.

Vliv popínavých leguminóz na výskyt hodnotných a plevelných druhů v trvalých travních porostech. / The influence of climbing legumes on presence of valuable and weedy species in permanent grasslands

HRAŠE, David January 2018 (has links)
Permanent grassland is a complex of legumes, herbs, and grasses. They are an important plant component of the biosphere. They provide wide range of productive and non-productive functions. Climbing legumes are valuable species in grasslands. They are involved in higher quality of fresh matter and hay. The aim of this diploma thesis is to assess the influence of climbing legumes on the presence and coverage of other higher plant species in grassland, the height and productivity of vegetation in selected localities in the Prachatice district in 2017. The occurrence of legumes (climbing and non-climbing) has a significant impact on other species in the grassland community. The reason is the ability to fix aerial nitrogen and support grass species that require a good nitrogen supply. The obtained data were statistically processed.
