This diploma thesis is a treatise on life and work of Mons. Karel Fořt, an eminent priest, a leader of Czech Spiritual Care in Germany, and an editor of religious broadcasting on Radio Free Europe. For my thesis, I used following sources: State Regional Archives in Třeboň, professional literature, and online sources.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of time-space mobility of university students in the town Ceske Budejovice. The research was conducted on the basis of data collection through three methods, combining various approaches to time-space mobility. The first method used was questionnaire research representing traditional way of collecting information. The modern methods category was represented by GPS loggers and smartphone devices operating through the motion capture applications. The aim was a qualitative comparison of these methods in practice and further evaluation of their potential benefits for time-space research. Furthermore, the main focus is on the overall analysis of time-space mobility of university students in urban environment of Ceske Budejovice, with emphasis on the concept of bundles. Individual results are supported by images and maps created in geographic information systems. The final chapter summarizes the acquired findings and the resulting measurements of time-space mobility of university students in Ceske Budejovice.

The diploma thesis is aimed at the Matice školská association and the subsequent establishment of the elementary school Matice školské in České Budějovice. The first part of the diploma thesis deals with the establishment of the Matice školské association. This diploma thesis describes the circumstances in which the Matice školské association was founded in České Budějovice. Furthermore it also introduces the historical context of the period that is essential for this work. It is aimed at the function of the association and its influence on the life in České Budějovice and its surroundings. The second part focuses on the elementary school Matice školská. The work of the school as an educational and upbringing institution and its preference in upbringing and educational programs. It describes functioning and changes during more than a century of school activity.

This thesis called Haptic Model of the Monastery of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is composed of two parts, theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part is dealing with selected period of Christian monastery complexes history. There are also mentioned some of the significant events of Christian world, that indisputably have influenced developement of monastic structures. Later on there is described the historical developement of the Monastery of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in České Budějovice (Budweis). The last chapter focuses on issues of people with visual impairment. The practical part of this thesis is based on creating of haptic model of the Monastery of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in České Budějovice in approximate measuring scale 1:125, which is supposed to be used primarily by visually impaired as a haptic-tactile aid, so that they can create an ideal image of shape of the monastery complex.

Theoretical part of the thesis, regarding the purpose of practical output (haptic aid), deals in its first sections with special pedagogy ophthalmopedies and typhlography. The second section of the thesis theoretical part analyses the theme of St. Christopher, which appears in the form of wall painting in the monastery temple of the Sacrifice of the Virgin Mary in České Budějovice. In connection with the place of occurrence, the history of the monastery is outlined. Practical part of the thesis is intended for various solutions of creating a specific haptic aid for the blind. That one is used to "view the image" through a relief which thanks to its plastic properties provides a visual impression of a flat surface.

The Master thesis analyses rural areas in terms of employment, discusses the structure of businesses and assesses overall situation of the population. For data collection, documents, statistics, interviews with selected important personality and questionnaires for public were used. Českobudějovický district, especially the village Ševětín, became the model area.

This thesis deals with the analysis of motion trajectories on the selected segment of population within the urban system of the town České Budějovice. The analysis is based on collecting primary data from longitudial survey carried out in order to find and to generalize some repetitive patterns of spatial behavior of selected population in different periods. Other aims are to indentify their typical social situations and to structure characteristics in the urban system of the town České Budějovice.

The thesis deals with the characteristics of the town of České Budějovice focused on the hydrological situation, the coexistence of the town with water and the use of water surface areas. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part summarises firstly, the information dealing with geographical physics secondly, socioeconomic information. It is followed by a detailed analysis of the main rivers, the Vltava and the Malše, which flow through the monitored territory. There is also a chapter aimed at the system of ponds in the defined location. From a historical point of view there are mentioned mainly interventions of nature itself in the life of the town in the chapter dealing with floods. The second application part includes the historical analysis of the evolution of the river bed and the water surface areas in the territory of České Budějovice, which was made up on the basis of comparing maps and information from the beginning of the 18th century up to the present. The anthropogenic activity and its influence on the town of České Budějovice itself is presented in the section solving the endangered water surface areas. This part also contains a case study dealing with the possibility of solving these hazards and risks in the countryside. The output of the thesis also includes the creation of promotional materials, which could be used as teaching supplementary materials at primary schools.

The maping of the everyday´s life and the public holidays of the small traders in the beginning of 20th century in the city of České Budějovice, their political affiliation, the religion or the entertainment. The thesis aims to provide a comprehensive survey of history and activities of ladies´ society called Ludmila. This society left its mark on the history of the city by its charitable activities, which aided the poor school children, and by establishing and funding schools for girls and a boarding school for girls in České Budějovice. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first two chapters generally outline the social, cultural and political milieu in České Budějovice, the legislation and ladies´societies in the Czech lands in the period 1850-1950. The third chapter deals with formation of the society Ludmila and its statutes. The fourth chapter presents an analysis of its structure and biographies of its members, including a short profile of Jana Zátková, the chairman of this ladies´society. The fifth chapter treats the activities of the ladies´ society and the closing part of the thesis describes the imposed dissolution, which put an end to beneficial activities of ladies´ society called Ludmila in 1950.
