Provázanost vývoje akciových trhů a výkonnosti ekonomik států V4

The aim of the thesis is to verify the interdependence of stock markets with the development of the national economies of the V4 countries and on basis of the established links, to assess possible forecasting of the future development of GDP and the development of V4 stock markets. Literary overview of the diploma thesis describes the economic development of the V4 countries with a focus on the eco-nomic indicator of GDP, the critism of the GDP indicator and its possible alternati-ves measuring the efficiency of the economy. In addition, there are described indi-vial stock exchanges of V4 countries, theory of efficient markets together with possible anomalies in the financial markets. The last part of the literky review contains previously Publisher studies dealing with the issue. The work itself is dividend into main parts, namely the correlation analysis and the compilation of VAR models according to which the direction of the relationship will be tested within Granger causality.

The goal of this thesis is to analyze and compare the main characteristics of Prague Stock Exchange and Warsaw Stock Exchange. At first the attention is paid to the concept of "stock exchange" in the legal system of both countries. A short summary of the history of both exchanges is followed by a description of the organizational structure and comparison of the basic conditions of exchange membership. The individual market segments are analyzed as well as conditions for admission of financial instruments to those segments. The thesis also outlines the essential characteristics of trading systems in Prague and in Warsaw together with a list of basic types of trades. The final comparative analysis is devoted to the type and volume of financial instruments traded on both exchanges and settlement of those trades.

Analýza výnosnosti a rizika vybraného odvětví burzy cenných papírů / Return and risk analysis in the selected industries

This thesis deals with the analysis of the profitability and risk of selected sectors on a stock exchange. For analysis of the industry period of 5 years was selected. This period begins in January 2010 and ends in December 2014. Data for the analysis were obtained from the New York Stock Exchange. Ratings industry is based on key indicators of profitability and risk. The profitability of the sector was calculated average and total. The risk was assessed by standard deviation, variance and coefficient of variation. The next step was to evaluate the sector by pricing model of capital asset. The coefficients alpha and beta were obtained by linear regression. MS Excel software was used for calculation. The first part describes the capital market, its subjects and the stock exchanges. For assessing the shares the basic formulas for calculating profitability, risk and CAPM are described in the theoretical part. Methodology paper describes the procedure for evaluating stocks and sectors. There is described a precise procedure of calculating individual indicators. In the third section the results of the analyzed sectors are evaluated. There is described the risk assessment of the industry and the future development of the sector. In conclusion the capital market and forecast of its development are evaluated.

The aim of the thesis was assess the usefulness of different methods of technical and fundamental analysis in the trading of securities on the stock exchange. Choose the appropriate investment strategy for a particular industry.First has been performed a calculation of the theory efficient markets. For this purpose has been used two tests, correlation tests and runs test. The theory of market efficiency was demonstrated. But still has been performed the calculation of active strategies.Then was made the technical analysis. We used moving averages and oscillators, RSI, ROC and momentum. Based on these tests, we can´t select an appropriate investment strategy.Final test was carry out with using fundamental analysis. Fundamental analysis consist from testing addiction of revenue at coefficient alfa. Sector services shown 0. And at other sectors amount to possitive values. In last of all I advised pasive strategy.

Práce se věnuje informačním požadavkům pražské burzy na regulované společnosti. V úvodu práce je obecně zpracováno téma burzovních trhů, jejich fungování a jsou zde uvedeny základní informace o Burze cenných papírů Praha, a. s. Dohled v oblasti kapitálového trhu v druhé kapitole pojednává o regulaci burzovního trhu Českou národní bankou. Ve třetí kapitole jsou uvedeny informační požadavky pražské burzy. Další kapitoly uvádějí základní informační požadavky londýnské a newyorské burzy cenných papírů a závěr práce je věnován porovnání informačních požadavků těchto tří uvedených burz.

The main question this master thesis wants to answer is how much from their disposable income the Czech households save and how do they use their savings on the capital market. The thesis analyse situation and trend of the Czech households saving rate, changings of the marginal saving rate and checks in which financial instruments the Czech households alocate their savings. The thesis also focus on comparison of the Czech households data with the foreign households especially with the German, the Belgium and the Britain households as well as with Visegrád group households. Middle part of the thesis contains a forecast of future progress, which is compared with the similar forecast from year 2006, as well as the relationship of the government and the household's savings rate and possibilities and impacts of its regulation.The thesis is finished with the conclusion which summarize the most important results.

Analýza vzájomnej previazanosti vybraných európskych burzových trhov a tendencia k ich integrácii / Analysis of interconnection of selected European stock markets and their tendency towards integration

This article compares the stock exchanges in Vienna, Budapest, Frankfurt and Milan. It settles basic information about their development, the subject of exchange and the classification of market segments. This work also characterizes the trade system of each of the stock exchanges and the liquidity of spot market, with particular emphasis on stock market. A part of this analysis is the comparison of markets based on aspects such as market capitalization, trade volume or the quantity of trade. Last chapter is devoted to the interconnection of stock markets, which is explored by the means of correlation coefficient among different indexes. These indexes show a strong link of the markets and through splitting the timeframe into periods of (2000-2004 - before Hungary's EU entry and after - 2004-2009), a stronger correlation was discovered during the period of index growth (after the Hungary's EU entry). By creating a more autoregressive model VAR, which describes individual processes among stock indexes and the direction of dependency, the hypothesis of strong interconnection of stock markets was proven. VAR model verified one-sided reliance among indexes and the rising level of integration of world markets.

The objective of the thesis is to characterize the importance of information and consequently also of knowledge as the bases for active dealing in the stock market. The fundamental terms of information credibility, disinformation and information asymmetry, which have a cardinal effect on behaviour of particular participants of the market, are mentioned in the thesis. The theory of effective markets and the factors due to which it is not able to explain the development and the real state of the contemporary stock markets, are analysed in more detail in the thesis. A considerable part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis and the definition of information need as a basic requirement for making successful investment decisions of an individual, whereas ways to its fulfilment are implied -- including a description and a division of available information sources. The description and the analysis of several dealing strategies which are directly based on usage of various kinds of information are not missing in the thesis. A part of the work is a presentation and an analysis of the results of a research made among real investors.

Thesis is focused on trading information systems in capital markets. The aim of this thesis is to analyze trading information systems and create model of hypothetical online trading platform. The model should consolidate the knowledge of the existing solutions for trading in the capital market. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part provides a basic description of trading information systems in the capital market. Second, analytic part of the thesis is focused on structure of brokerage trading information system. The first analysis is focused on analyze portfolio of the current trading platforms offered by brokerage. The second analysis is focused on analyze internal functionality structure of the selected group of trading platform. The aim of this analysis is to find and describe the portfolio functionalities of trading platforms and identified the basis or standard functionalities of trading platforms. Resulting data from second analysis are important for third part for this thesis. Third, main part of this thesis is devoted on creating model of hypothetical online trading platform. This part consist several sets of models and together created one complex model of hypothetical online trading platform.
