Pastatų planų formavimo sistemos sudarymas ir tyrimas / Analysis and Implementation of Building Plan Creation SystemLabanauskas, Gintautas 10 September 2004 (has links)
Currently many CAD – Computer Aided Development systems are widely used in the world. Three dimensional modeling systems, like AutoCAD, 3DS Max and similar are well known. Unfortunately these systems are quite complicated and expensive. It takes a lot of time and money to train company workers to use these systems. Small companies are not capable to do it. So naturally there comes demand on more simple and cheaper systems. The main objective of this project is to create low complicated small-medium size CAD system, more concrete – building plan creation system, which include main features of large CAD systems and also avoids it’s defects. In this article we will show what problems occurs when working with general purpose applications, what special needs have building plans’ designers. All conclusions will be taken into account when implementing our CAD system. Few helper methods, which automatize design, will be analyzed.

Rūbų modelių matavimų schemų sudarymo sistema / Clothing models measuring scheme composition systemSilivončikas, Rytis 29 May 2006 (has links)
Nowadays there are many CAD system used in garment industry, but only few systems are used to compose measurement schemas. Only the biggest companies like well known “Gerber technology”, “Lectra system”, “Richpeace” could offer such kind of systems. Unfortunately, these systems are quite complicated, expensive and could only be used with the CAD system from the same creators. This is the reason why many companies are not capable of buying a full CAD system besides there are no possibilities to buy a system to compose garment products measurement schemas separately. So, naturally, there comes a demand for a less complicated and cheaper system. The main objective of this project was to create less complicated garment products measurement schemas composing system, which includes features of a large system and also avoids its defects.
An analysis of existing garment products’ measurement schemas software and customers’ needs was made in this work. “Clothing models measuring scheme composition system” software was created as an outcome of this work. The project was programmed with JAVA programming language. Therefore it can be used on the different operating systems. The system was successfully installed and tested in the UAB “Vivat Modus” company. In short period of time this company has seen the great propose of system. People who were using the new system to create garment products’ measurement schemas have saved their time and made less mistakes. The system helped to save... [to full text]

Vektorinės grafinės informacijos skaitymo, redagavimo ir įrašymo programa / Vector graphics information reading, editing and writing softwareKurauskas, Rytis 01 June 2004 (has links)
The main project goal is to develop the DXF reading, editing and writing software. Research goal is usage of DXF reading end editing systems, DXF structure and reading method. Existing systems are reviewed, analyzed solution of problem. The object oriented design was used to develop system. Developed DXF reading, editing and writing software is flexible for adding new graphical components, functional requirements, maintenance is simple. All of these are achieved using object oriented design system.

Structured grid generation for gas turbine combustion systemsEccles, Neil C. January 2000 (has links)
Commercial pressures to reduce time-scales encourage innovation in the design and analysis cycle of gas turbine combustion systems. The migration of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) from the purview of the specialist into a routine analysis tool is crucial to achieve these reductions and forms the focus of this research. Two significant challenges were identified: reducing the time-scale for creating and solving a CFD prediction and reducing the level of expertise required to perform a prediction. The commercial pressure for the rapid production of CFD predictions, coupled with the desire to reduce the risk associated with adopting a new technology led, following a review of available techniques, to the identification of structured grids as the current optimum methodology. It was decided that the task of geometry definition would be entirely performed within commercial Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems. A critical success factor for this research was the adoption of solid models for the geometry representation. Solids ensure consistency, and accuracy, whilst eliminating the need for the designer to undertake difficult, and time consuming, geometry repair operations. The versatility of parametric CAD systems were investigated on the complex geometry of a combustion system and found to be useful in reducing the overhead in altering the geometry for a CFD prediction. Accurate and robust transfer between CAD and CFD systems was achieved by the use of direct translators. Restricting the geometry definition to solid models allowed a novel two stage grid generator to be developed. In stage one an initial algebraic grid is created. This reduces user interaction to a minimum, by the employment of a series of logical rules based on the solid model to fill in any missing grid boundary condition data. In stage two the quality of the grid is improved by redistributing nodes using elliptical partial differential equations. A unique approach of improving grid quality by simultaneously smoothing both internal and surface grids was implemented. The smoothing operation was responsible for quality, and therefore reduced the level of grid generation expertise required. The successful validation of this research was demonstrated using several test cases including a CFD prediction of a complete combustion system.
