O objeto de estudo desta dissertação é o surgimento do campo fotográfico profissional paulistano entre 1939 e 1970, fenômeno intimamente ligado à consolidação da sociedade de consumo em São Paulo. Ela tem como objetivo investigar as diferentes forças sociais que atuaram na formação da imagem da metrópole de seus artefatos, edifícios, pessoas e espaços componentes procurando entender por que uma e não outra representação da cidade; por que determinados profissionais e não outros a produziram. O tema foi abordado em três escalas. O primeiro capítulo traz um zoom sobre a atividade de um estúdio fotográfico, o Fotolabor, propriedade dos irmãos Werner e Geraldo Haberkorn. Descreve sua produção, as relações de trabalho, de aprendizado, os clientes e outros aspectos relevantes. O segundo capítulo abre um pouco o foco e tem como tema os fotógrafos de estúdio do período, a relação entre fotografia, publicidade e o desenvolvimento dos meios de comunicação impressos no Brasil. O terceiro amplia o campo de visão, como uma lente grande angular, e traz à cena fotógrafos, comerciantes e importadores de produtos fotográficos, numa visão de conjunto do que se denominou mercado fotográfico. Espera-se, assim, contribuir para uma melhor compreensão do trabalho dos fotógrafos profissionais em São Paulo no século XX. / The subject of this thesis is the rise of the professional photographic field in São Paulo between 1939-1970, understood as a phenomenon that establishes a deep relationship with the consumer societys growth in the city at that time. It aims to investigate the different social forces that led to the conception and creation of the metropolis image its artifacts, buildings, people and spaces trying to understand why that image has been created and why a specific kind of professional produced it (foreign photographers in Brazil). The theme was approached on three levels. The first chapter gives a close up upon the activities of a photography studio, named Fotolabor, owned by the brothers Werner and Geraldo Haberkorn. This first chapter describes its production, its work relationships, the apprenticeship in the studio, its clients and other relevant aspects. The second chapter focuses on and looks at the photographers themselves (their life histories, the way they saw themselves and their colleagues) and at the relationship between photography, advertising and the press development in Brazil. The third chapter extends the field of view, much like a wide angle lens, and brings to the scene photographers, traders and importers of photographic products, an overview of what was called photographic market. It aims, therefore, to contribute to a better understanding of the work of professional photographers in São Paulo in the twentieth century.

A pesquisa aborda os arranjos estabelecidos entre departamentos estatais, empresas privadas e grupos profissionais na determinação, na regulação e na execução cotidiana da política habitacional em São Paulo. Empiricamente, o trabalho focaliza as empresas de gerenciamento e consultoria - ou simplesmente gerenciadoras - que atuam como terceirizadas há pelo menos vinte e cinco anos junto à Companhia de Desenvolvimento Habitacional e Urbano - CDHU, empresa pública vinculada à Secretaria de Habitação do estado de São Paulo, desenvolvendo atividades concernentes à função gerencial, de administração e controle das etapas de concepção, viabilização, implantação e operação de programas e empreendimentos. Alocadas no amplo setor da Engenharia Consultiva, a atuação destas empresas no país ganha significativa envergadura ainda nos anos 1960, durante a ditadura militar, acompanhando a tendência de transformação do modus operandi estatal e de expansão do repasse de funções executivas do Estado para o setor privado, já então amparada na doutrina gerencialista da eficiência, da competência e da qualidade. Ao longo da tese, são discutidas questões sobre a própria ideia da função gerencial como dispositivo de gestão e como racionalidade, sua recepção e incorporação ao desenho da política habitacional brasileira e a participação das empresas consultoras nessa dinâmica, a partir de um enfoque sobre os caminhos de seu desenvolvimento no país, os agentes envolvidos, as relações políticas, institucionais, profissionais e corporativas estabelecidas, o surgimento do \"serviço especializado de gerenciamento\" como uma ramificação da Engenharia Consultiva e seu estriamento pelas estruturas públicas estatais alegadamente falidas, justificado em discurso pela inexorabilidade da terceirização. Além disso, são também problematizados o peso destas empresas na estrutura de gestão atualmente formalizada e os desdobramentos que, desde aí, implicam uma reconfiguração do campo profissional de arquitetos e urbanistas envolvidos com a questão habitacional em São Paulo nas últimas duas décadas, seus constrangimentos e potencialidades diante dos novos arranjos determinados em torno da execução da política pública. / The research deals with the arrangements established between state departments, private companies and professional groups in determining, in the regulation and execution of everyday housing policy in São Paulo. Empirically, the thesis focuses on the business and management consultancy companies that act as subcontractors for at least twenty-five years with the Companhia de Desenvolvimento Habitacional e Urbano - CDHU, linked to the Department of Housing public corporation of the state of São Paulo, administrating and controlling stages of conception, feasibility, implementation and operation of programs and projects activities. Allocated in the broad sector of Consulting Engineering, the activities of these companies in the Brazil still earns significant scale in the 1960s, during the military dictatorship, following the trend of transformation of the modus operandi of state and the expansion of transfer the executive functions of the state to the private sector, supported in the managerialist doctrine of efficiency, competence and quality. Throughout the thesis, we discuss issues about the very idea of management as a rationality device, its reception and incorporation into the form of the brazilian housing policy and the participation of consulting companies in this dynamic, from a focus on the ways of its development in the country, the agents involved, the political, institutional, corporate and professional relationships established, the emergence of the \"specialized service management\" as an offshoot of Consulting Engineering and rifling through his allegedly failed state public structures, explained in a speech by inexorability of outsourcing. Moreover, we also problematize the weight of these companies in the management structure currently formalized and the consequences that, since then, imply a reconfiguration of the field of professional architects involved with the housing issue in São Paulo in the last two decades, their constraints and potential in face of the new arrangements determined around the implementation of public policy.

No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 21 / Nenhuma / Esse trabalho aborda o estágio no percurso da formação inicial nos Cursos de Licenciatura, após a implementação da legislação pertinente, onde houve um aumento considerável da carga horária dedicada ao estágio curricular supervisionado a partir do início da segunda metade do curso. Com essa perspectiva a legislação promove a inserção no campo profissional e o licenciando permanece mais tempo junto ao futuro campo de atuação, sendo um exercício de formação profissional in loco. O objetivo desse trabalho foi ouvir professores que recebem o estagiário em sua sala de aula. Ouvindo as vozes desses profissionais, que com seu trabalho podem tornar a Escola de Educação Básica um campo de formação. A metodologia adotada foi de abordagem qualitativa, usando o estudo de caso com princípios etnográficos na busca de fazer coexistir a linguagem da experiência, de estar e pensar no trabalho de campo, com a linguagem da teoria, que ampara a compreensão do que ocorre nesse espaço, apoiado nas narrativas dos docentes. Os / This work broads the traineeship in the initial formation way on the degree courses, after the implementation of the pertinent legislation, where a considerable increase in the workload happened, dedicated to the supervisioned curricular traineeship, from the begin of the second half of the course on. With this perspective the legislation promotes the insertion on the professional field and the degree student remain more time within the future atuation field, being an exercise of professional formation in loco.
